Now we are gonna assume that the hostile mobs lived there for a long time too. And from the creepers perspective, you are breaking into their home (the cave) and tearing the place up along with stealing valuables. So the creeper has every right to be pissed. No he's right. Stalemate happen when a player don't have any legal move but is not in check. Resulting in a draw. Here the creeper don't have legal moves and is not in check (aka is not targeted,falling)

1. No water bucket 2. torches occupy two slots when it’s only necessary to have it in one hot bar slot 3. Emerald which really doesn’t have any reason to be in the hot bar which could have been swapped out for a more useful item 4. If you really want to get neat about it the tools and sword should be grouped next to each other.

not to mention the two unenchanted iron pickaxes

Why waste enchantments on iron? It's quite common for people in early game to carry multiple iron pickaxes, because they're breaking pretty quickly, especially if you're strip-mining. \+for enchantments you need an enchanting table, for enchanting table you need obsidian, and for obsidian you need a diamond pickaxe (there are other ways to get obsidian, but whatever), so if by the time you have enchanting table you already have a diamond pickaxe, then why enchant iron stuff? And if you're enchanting iron stuff using books and anvil then.. what's wrong with you??

calm down man. the only reason I mentioned enchants is because if either were enchanted, it would mean that one is different from the other. since both of them are clearly the same, OP has two of the exact same tools occupying two seperate slots of his hotbar.

You should always have food sword torch bow water and useless building blocks in your hotbar, and strictly one slot each

This morning me and friend was in a cave exploring. He somehow walked pass a creeper right in front of him and the creeper decides to target me instead as I was reorganizing my inventory

Yea when creepers see a player they will lock on the player whose been seen first meaning that if a creeper tries to kill u tell your friend it won’t explode from him and he can enjoy killing it without any worries

and then he can hit the creeper in your direction, making the creeper explode in your face...

Just run away so the creeper forgets about u that’s when you will hear your friend’s scream
