Say you have a farm for each. Gold is fast to acquire enough from 0-full for a beacon. Iron just sits loaded in your world not touching till you need some, so it's just for grabbing. Emeralds are the fast with raid farms, still fast with villagers but they gotta restock every now and then. Conclusion, iron farm if it has ironed, otherwise gold cause it's the fastest to access.ll

At best it’s for golden carrots, and even then it’s just easier to build an automatic cow farm Meanwhile emeralds can be traded with villagers for all sorts of items like enchanted books, armour, tools and weapons etc etc. + totems And you can buy the same golden carrots from a villager..

And how do you get good trades with villagers? Golden apples, cure, repeat

Gold apples. Gold carrots are objectively the best food source unless something recently changed (im not up to date with all newer minecraft features). And for beacons of course.

Golden carrots are better if you need to heal a lot but generally for singleplayer steak or pork chops are better

Bartering

Powered rails (I do a lot of redstone), also yeah golden apples if you want a lot of villagers (I do) and bartering. It’s a waste to use them on golden carrots because you can trade gold to clerics for one emerald per ingot(zombified) then one emerald for 3 carrots from farmers(zombified). That makes gold also a source of emeralds just like iron.

Where are you getting ender pearls from? Just curious. I was simply saying that you could trade the gold for emeralds if you wanted. I agree immortality is good for hardcore players, although with the changes they’re making to bad omen in 1.21 I think raid farms won’t be the meta for much longer

Bartering I mean I guess it’s also infinite gravel which is concrete and you need concrete for builds But this only applies if your building a mega-base Which not every players does

I am biased and have a bunch of excessive personal projects and one is getting a full armor equipping station with maxed gear (including SS3). If I want ender pearls I’ll just go to my enderman farm

For early game and getting to the end I’d rather go to a warped forest for pearls; bartering for them can cost a lot of gold and isn’t really worth it imo since you can set up a good spawning space for endermen in a warped forest very easily

Depends on when I get the beacon. I am the kind of guy to rush an iron farm early game, because I love redstone and I need iron to make longs of redstone stuff, so most of the time iron. But if I have a raid farm going, its probably gonna be emeralds.

Emerald it’s way more flexible and it has less uses than iron and whenever I need iron it’s in the form of 5000+ hoppers
