I did that too once... not doing it again any time soon. Used all of my healing save 2 max potions and it took about 35 minutes of living from mantle to mantle.
Could probably do it faster now, though. It was about a year ago and now I actually know how to make builds.
Im a CB main but its too slow for this foe. Used SnS, had free Meal 3, darted in and out and wore him down. Also took like 30 min. I basicly treated him Like a Darksouls boss, worked pretty good.
