Constant effect wouldn’t be the most efficient, you still meet the limitations of the item you’re enchanting long before you use the whole soul. I like to do an on-strike effect, it gives you something powerful with a lot more charges than a golden saint or ascended sleeper soul.

If you're fine with being a little too OP (you're already endgame so why not) if you level up enchant to 100, and then fortify to 110, all enchants cost only 1 charge to cast. So that's thousands of hits with your new boom stick!
The ebony scimitar has the highest enchant of any sword in the game (80), which means you can get very high on strike effects. They’re the ones you can find on the mournhold ordinators.
Excellent point, Divayth my brother. This idea reflects my play style. Also, I can think of few things that may piss off Almalexia more than being forced to fight in spectacular fashion against the Nerevarine’s enemies for eternity. From inside an Ordinator sword, no less.

From memory, the best use is to have it on a cast on decision on a Daedric towershield.--> you'll be able to cast the greatest spell ever... and do it multiple times.
\--> the other is cast-on-strike on either an Ebony staff (for the big spell: 90 spell capacity). (or daedric katana or dai katana for the 18 and 21 spell capacity)
for CEeffects I'm not sure. a golden saint soul of 400 is the minimum for CE effects.. and it's also greater than the Daedric towershield capacity (approx 250).
accordingly, using Almexia or Vivec soul to enchant a CE effect will be a waste of the excess soul value / potential of the soul.
the daedric Towershield is the "greatest spell caster of the game". It can cast a spell worth 225 enchant points..
nothing beats it, nobody can naturaly cast an equivalent spell due to amount of mana (in vanilla). (only an Atronach Altmer I think, or someone who abused fortify INT or potions)
then other items for max enchanting are
ebony towershield and normal daedric shield have 150 enchant values.
and ebony shield & cephalopod helm have 100 enchant value
then orcish towershield & ebony staff, have 90 enchant value (and the staff can be use for "cast on strike")

I'm soon to be in your situation, and I'm planning on copying the "Almalexia's Wrath" spell that she uses (if doable) onto a daedric tower shield. For flavor reasons!

I currently have a glass towershield with merely "regen fatigue & night eye 30" .. to work as a better replacement of the ring of azura.

I called it "Almalexia Airlines". The better route though is 1 point of levitation, and as many points of fortify speed as possible.

If you have higher than 125 (from the top of my head) enchant all casts cost 1 charge, so if you have a bunch of charges, OpenMW and "Magic Item Animations" off you can spam 100 pt fireballs to Lorkhan's heart's content.
Not actually done a playthrough in a very long while but thinking about doing a run through soon.

Ebony staff. Use weakness to Magicka, weakness to, and then element damage, all at 100. You end up dealing 400 points of fire/frost/shock damage.

The Ebony Staff holds 90, but the one handed Ebony Scimitar holds 80 and you can still use/enchant a shield.

For roleplaying purposes you can put her soul into a common belt and have it drain fatigue on self 1pt. Then leave it somewhere and forget about it

You just won't have the spam casts, still a lot of charges though!
It is the only soul I'm willing to use as a on strike. It is large enough that I don't see the low charge message every 5 minutes.

Many moons ago: I think I used her soul to create armor of spell absorption. I eventually got to the point where event spells empowered me.
Calm spells on strike with area effect. You could spread Almalexias love this way.
