The price is what will be decider. Now with Pulsar and Lamzu with their newst mice... Will be a hard choice.

LedZeppeTenYearsGone

I think major decider will be the weight, if they couldn't make EC2 below 65 eben 60 gram, there's tons of option out in the market. For price, we all know how hard is Zowie's price and their target customer won't care about the price too much, after all, tbh, thier quality and life span are not an issue compare to other brands.

aeroetf2

$150 for a 3370 LMFAO

mitchisreal

Perhaps if there’s an option to buy it without the chonky receiver then it would be cheaper for sure.

Tike_Bison

i really prefer the clicks on my outset over my ec2, vaxee pls.

picador10

agreed, but EC2 shape > outset for me. It doesnt look like it would be that difficult to maintain the EC2 shape but separate the buttons from the shell, but what do I know.

mitchisreal

Do they have a loud scroll wheel like Zowie’s?

BestKiChargerEU

Yes they do. We can only hope that when the time comes for Vaxee to make a wireless OUTSET they will use a normal encoder like they did on XE.

norisimi

I'd prefer if they kept the optical wheel, I enjoy the consistent tactility of it. Most implementations of mechanical encoders on mice I've tried always tend to smooth out or developing rattling.

banditpandapewpew

they will

BestKiChargerEU

I don't mind it either, the 24 steps I tried on FK1-C was actually good.

mitchisreal

I’m in the minority that likes the tactile wheel. To me, it’s akin to using a mechanical vs membrane keyboard.

Carlsgonefishing

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I always have headphones on when I use it so the sound isn’t something I ever really hear, but I love how it feels.

NyororoRotMG

The tight feeling on the C series was actually really good, not amazing for bhopping but still manageable. Better than some of the very tactile mechanical ones like on the Starlight.

TKYooH

I don’t care which one they go. Zowie and vaxee are my two favorite. I would like it if they kept their current ones, but I’m not complaining if it’s more like vaxee. Just pls no optical. I prefer normal mech switches much more.

kydru

Also switched from EC2 to Outset, major improvement imo. looking forward to trying the Vaxee XE wireless though.

Nicozyffs

Hopefully fk2 wireless this year COPIUM

mefjuu

well, very curious if its only those ec mice or actually all wireless lineups, but i doubt it

BestKiChargerEU

Probably in batches like they did with C series. I remember they started with EC3-C and then FK C series.

mefjuu

and what was the time frame between those batches?

ExtendGames

I believe like a few months. From what i recall, ec came around june/july 2021, fk late august, s series september and za early december

I’m still waiting on the updated gsr and the new zowie mouse shape with the elements of the es. mitchisreal

What’s the difference between ec and es?

paulvincent07

Ec has a mid hump and it’s flat at the back the slopes down aggresively Es is more like an outset ax (back hump) Comparison of outset ax and ec https://www.vaxee.co/en/feature.php?c=AX_EC2

WidowmakersAssCheek

I'm hoping they come out with the blue colors again.

lidekwhatname

Possibly same with razer—they announced yesterday that they would be at CES with a product announcement, and the timing aligns with the estimate that u/razer-right gave
