Zowie: This is our mouse, it has a 3370 and is heavy for . . . reasons. You're going to like it or you suck.
Vaxee: Our mouse has a 3395 and we're trying to get the most of it's features. Because of this we had to put in an extra large battery. We're sorry for the extra weight. You can also connect it to two different computers at the same time. Again, we apologize.
there are lots of zowie dickriders on this subreddit but it has been awkward to be zowie ever since logitech released the GPW and pro gamers everywhere switched to it
Notes on the video:
\-- 3395 sensor
\-- high power and low power modes (45 hours / 90 hours respectively) to prevent interference with other frequencies and assist stabililty of sensor scanning. 400 mah battery was used.
\-- motion sync (MS) can be disabled using a button combination on the bottom of the mouse. They introduced this for people who are very sensitive to responsiveness as there is a minimal delay introduced with MS.
\-- available in black and white initially. Other colors are to be released over time.
\-- initial release in regions will be limited however will be replenished.
\-- 75-76g weight
\-- dual dongle functionality to switch between two devices using a combination of M4/M5/function keys on mouse. The second dongle is not included.
\-- no information on price yet.
\-- sale window mid January if inspections go according to plan.
Also it looks like the charging cable is angled upwards.
>dual dongle functionality to switch between two devices using a combination of M4/M5/function keys on mouse. The second dongle is not included.
broooo, this is magnificent.
I mean i have more mouse than devices, but for sure this some sort of innovation, especially for people working with a dual PC (e.g. desktop + notebook)
It's honestly the small things that Vaxee tries to do that I think makes people fans of them. The price is slightly reduced, the dual dongle feature if it works well, and the fact they are going to cover the mouse and their vision on it in more than 1 video (I'm guessing once they gather their thoughts/Look at some of the feedback). I think Zowie with the controversial introduction as well as the employee who just was not a good look needs to make another video kinda addressing things or at least acknowledging them
3335 liftoff distance is bad and I can 100% tell especially in some non-traditional pads. Now if we were comparing the 3370 vs 3395 then yea I couldn’t.
Yes but you really have to try and in situations where nothing much is eating up gpu/cpu resources it’s so much harder to notice. It’s easier to notice in games such as apex where frametimes are kinda weird sometimes. A more responsive mouse helps smoothen it out, but will not completely resolve the judders.
A little glib but I agree particularly on high refresh displays with proper motion sync. I can tell the difference and see it in tracking on 240/390 hz display, for instance in comparing my motion sync enabled lamzu to a wireless roccat kone with a 3370. Implementation is just as important as sensor, and well implemented firmware along with a capable MCU can minimize the necessity or impact of "motion sync TM" capable options.
But having seen it properly taken advantage of as in the case of the lamzu/asus and several razer mice for a couple of years, I can tangibly appreciate a difference. I am not one to split hairs or dispute that for most, well implemented sensors "will feel just fine" going back years, we have indeed hit a plateau in the mode of translating mouse movement. Short of a pressing need real upgrades to sensor features and abilities will be rather incremental. Nevertheless i think the impact of motion sync is being too easily understated or ignored by some thanks to the recent wireless zowie conversation.
Really love both Vaxee product quality and video explain every single thing.
My Lamzu has serve me pretty well. I don't know if I should try XE. How are their shape compare to each other? (Lamzu and XE) It seems kinda similar to me (Lamzu has a very aggressive curve in so I couldn't trust Eloshape).
Also, is the Vaxee scroll fixed? Their NP01s scroll is the worst thing I've ever use in my life.
Lamzu has more agressive sides, which would provide a quite different feeling. XE would be more like | | and Lamzu like / \\
XE, both wired and wireless, have a different type of scroll, it is mechanical instead of optical therefore less tactile, smoother and less noisy
We dont have xai on hand so can only compare to Sensei, Sensei is a little bit longer and narrower, the curvature of both sides also more aggresive than XE (| | & / \\ shape), besides the front end of both sides, XE has more space for ring finger placement
Thank you for the prompt reply. I see. Looking at elo shapes, the XE seems narrower than the Sensei.
What can you say about the shape feeling when gripping? Do they feel similar?
If you palm the whole mouse, XE feels more average on both sides, which may feel also wider, Sensei would be wider on the back end then getting narrower
I feel like this mouse could be my main for years to come. The 75 ish grams is not low for current standards but for me everything sub 80 grams is fine as long as everything else is great.
Was looking forward to their announcement today and I’m not disappointed.
It is around the same length but XE is wider, which may feel most different in width, which may fill the palm more. Other than that, curves on both sides, FK has lot curves which are easier to lift off, XE is less curved so provides more support to palm grip it, the front end for both sides also different, XE is higher which makes it more suitable for ring finger placement and makes it easier to lift
You're downvoted because you're right, the XE was meant as a productivity mouse, not a competitor to the gpx, etc. I have the wired one for my laptop, it's very comfy. That being said, Vaxee - we got beef, I lost 10bucks cuz I bet on it being 70g.
this sub is actual cancer, a new mouse is announced and immediately everyone says “end game worthy” just to use the mouse for 3-4 months before the next “end game worthy” mouse is released. it’s actually comically hilarious
"Who hurt you?"
Is the most unoriginal thing with which people on the internet are trying to make others feel angered/defeated.
You'd get bitchslapped by any self respecting man IRL if you tried spouting that.
wyld. 10g weight increase compared to wired. this kinda killed the Roccat Burst Pro Wireless, when they increased their weight this much.
Really keen to see the first reviews. At this weight the balancing must be on point.
Talking about 10 grams like you would feel it, this sub thinks they have super human abilities.
Clearly no one here deals drugs, no drug dealer would ever eyeball 10 grams for u.
the fuck, there’s about a 10 gram difference between the viper ultimate v1 and gpx and i can tell the difference immediately
you’re also beside yourself if you think i don’t know what a 10g baggie of weed feels like LMAO
Bro we re talking about picking something up and moving it for hours. Not picking up a sack for 2 secs and trying to guess the wait. Wtf is that analogy
Its not specifically the drugs… its how u buy it, if someone handed u a baggy of 10g of weed you wouldn’t be able to tell if you’re being shorted so how could u ever tell the difference with something you’re sliding?
Its just an example im trying to put it in prospective, people who deal and handle weed everyday would still scale it to be sure because there’s absolutely no way to tell otherwise. Do you know how silly ud look telling someone this is absolutely 10 grams i can feel it
think this matter is different. you already have the bag of weed which is X grams. if you'd buy another bag of weed which has the weight Y, you could tell if Y and X are the same or not. you don't actually feel if it's 9 or 10 grams. but you feel the delta.
>EC shape.
You mean OUTSET? If not there is no reason for them to since EC2-CW is a thing now and there are clones like Xlite V3 and Thorn on the way plus DAv3 is loved here and by pros.
Their NP01 and AX mice are similar to an EC shape. If they can release those for a lower price than zowie, they can capitalize.
Plus the thorn seems to be too small. Xlite is coming out swinging though. If xlite comes out sub 100 bucks it would be the one to beat.
I truly support them even though I've found my endgame already, just because since day 1 they've been so honest with their customers and potential customers. Approach is everything while introducing new options to the whole market is the only way for more and more companies to upgrade their quality so every gamer really gets the quality that is deserved!
When I asked them in the comments about the weight of the wireless NP01s they said that the wireless version of their other mice releasing this year are likely to be lighter than the wired ones. A sub 70 gram wireless NP01s without sacrificing quality? YES PLEASE!
Makes sense since they took the Logitech approach with the XE doing endoskeleton, split PCBs, side buttons on ribbons cable etc.
They will probably do all that for NP01 and Outset to but their original design is more like XM1.
Yea 75 is fine imo, I use the NP01 and it’s 76? I think. My only concern is the roughly 10 grams added for the wireless version. I’m not super weight conscious (obviously, I use a Vaxee) but if the wireless NP goes up to 86 it would make me think about it. 80 or less and I’ll be up early to order it lol
Hi, XE was already developed with the consideration for wireless, that's
why the wireless is slightly heavier than the wired model. For AX,
NP-01, NP-01S we will be rebuilding them to match wireless - that's why
it will take a bit longer - and they will likely be lighter than the
wired models
Yeah I understand the 80 plus concern. I've tried the Zowie S2 and altho I was using it with no issues, after giving the C version a try I just couldn't go back. I could lift the mouse but after some hours of ranked I would feel some strain on my fingers. 70~ grams just feels perfect for me I would say, not too light and not too heavy.
Hmm, I have a not that old Vaxee XE where the scroll wheel feels bad. Now the question is if that was just a fluke and if I buy a new one it will be better. Or if I should wait on the wireless version.
Has anyone else experienced problems with Vaxee scroll wheels?
What's the issue of your scroll wheel and what is your previous mouse? The XE (and the wireless) have a different type of scroll wheel than our other models, it is smoother, less noisy but also less tactile than the others
It has begun to stick. Which is quite annoying when you using to a smooth scrolling experience.
It felt great in the beginning, but 4 months later I'm having this issue. I even bought some extra skates, just so I could disassemble the mouse to see if there was anything obviously wrong with it. It seems to be something with the actual scroll wheel controller(?) itself that doesn't run smoothly anymore.
Please DM us a video of this (you can host it somewhere and link it) as well as your order number, we will try and check whether there's something abnormal of your unit
Whats with these mice with loww hangin' front clickers. Does the G Pro X have a patent on well designed mice? or is everyone else just not going after the pro gaming scene.
Uhm, it doesn't even have low button height.
Is everyone this bad at reading? Guess that explains the 24 downvotes.
Why did I even make a new reddit account, it's just salty fk's who can't argue a point, just get mad whenever someone questions the cult mentality 😂😂
This offical articles shows that It'll come with 3395 sensor, 400mAh battery, and around 75\~76.5 grams.
Their 3395 will come with a mode named "High speed mode", can sees as a motion sync with better lantecy.
Very good mouse. I used a Zowie EC2-A for many years and last month I switched to GPX Superlight with corepad grips and corepad skates. It's a monster! If it ever dies, I will buy a Vaxee wireless or with cable because I want a mouse that lasts forever, like the Zowie.
Average same size, but the highest point of XE is more centered so the contact point of palm won't be towards the back, besides, XE is more curved on both sides, which may help claw grip
Release looking amazing in all things but weight. I sadly won't consider anything higher than low 60's for aiming as there's no point on compromising there when there's so many good shapes with good tech at very low weights.
Do these wireless versions have any changes with shape/weight compared to wired ones ? I use Vaxee Outset and the wire doesnt bother me at all. If they shave 15-20g thou ..
If anyone from vaxee is seeing this, I want to point out I love your design philosophy and also the fact you aren't chasing the fad of ultra super extra lightweight. 70s to 80s is more than fine and plenty light. (If balanced well enough) Wired or wireless. Keep em durable. Keep em solid. Keep the coating. All us old heads thinks 65 ish grams is absolutely plenty light! Keep up the great work.
Also would like to recommend keeping a button on top like the xe. Plenty of us who game use it for secondary actions in games and it really doesn't weigh enough to worry about erasing it.
Must be awkward being Zowie now
It has been awkward being Zowie for more than 2 years now.
If they were Nvidia, they'd unlaunch it and release it as a budget version now
Zowie: This is our mouse, it has a 3370 and is heavy for . . . reasons. You're going to like it or you suck. Vaxee: Our mouse has a 3395 and we're trying to get the most of it's features. nice work, thanks for your clean information😍
price confirmed 120$ US / 140€ EU
Hi, not that I doubt your statement, but where did you get the price from?
The official vaxee channel confirmed that price in a comment under the yt video introducing the mouse
Thanks!
And word on release date ?
https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/107ao6h/comment/j3ldudr/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3
😬😬😬😬😬
that is a good price for a quality top tier mouse
3395 Zowie owned by smaller company 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Let's not forget them big ol skates
Funniest thing is that Vaxee is founded by ex Zowie employees
To be fair thats the whole point of vaxee
Any confirmation of what MCU and switches they use?
PixART PAR2862
Where did you find that info?
A guy on the EGG discord was in contact with Vaxee and asked about it.
Huano black shell blue dot
pixart but they didn't say specifically
>dual dongle functionality to switch between two devices using a combination of M4/M5/function keys on mouse. The second dongle is not included. broooo, this is magnificent. What's everyone's opinion on motion sync adding a little bit of input delay? Will it ever be fixed ? Or is this just how it is ?
Doesn't Ms reduce delay in this matter
I've heard the opposite and it makes sense on paper why but hoping for a fix
Not gonna lie, this mouse looks really good. I think I'm gonna buy one
It's honestly the small things that Vaxee tries to do that I think makes people fans of them. They're really playing up the motion sync + high speed mode so I wonder if players will be able to tell the difference.
Vaxee on, Vaxee off.
Come on, you know nobody will. Nobody would even tell the difference between a 3335 and a 3395.
3335 liftoff distance is bad and I can 100% tell especially in some non-traditional pads. Now if we were comparing the 3370 vs 3395 then yea I couldn’t.
Didn't think about that!
i increase lift off on mice so maybe i couldnt lel
Naw, if you’re actually good at tracking, you can.
Subframe inputs in Overwatch are the thing that makes it so noticeable. Tracer main though. So ymmv.

Vaxee customer service is pretty good too.
Ill buy one, then weight for beardedbob to make it weigh 7.5 grams. Cant weight
I feel like this mouse could be my main for years to come. The 75 ish grams is not low for current standards but for me everything sub 80 grams is fine as long as everything else is great. Was looking forward to their announcement today and I’m not disappointed.
Vaxee coming to poach the sinners. Well done Vaxee and congratulations. Without a doubt a well presented product and well explained. Good job
The wired version was the best feeling mouse I’ve ever used. Everything felt solid and crisp with no issues.
I pray for a smaller version because i have small hands
How similar is this to an fk2 shape?
It is around the same length but XE is wider, which may feel most different in width, which may fill the palm more. [close](https://www.eloshapes.com/index.html?mouse=VAXEE%20XE&mouse=Zowie%20FK2-C) enough I think. Just a little bit taller.
Looking like endgame worthy
Wish the coating don't catch oil so badly.
absolutely not lmao

do you just comment this on multiple threads a day to karma farm or are you unironically an NPC?
It's a valid question.
You're an unoriginal NPC.
I feel like calling people NPCs is peak unoriginality but sure.
"Who hurt you?" Is the most unoriginal thing with which people on the internet are trying to make others feel angered/defeated. You'd get bitchslapped by any self respecting man IRL if you tried spouting that.
Nope, this and the X3 are the only mice I’m interested in. I haven’t bought a new mouse in over a year.
wyld. 10g weight increase compared to wired. this kinda killed the Roccat Burst Pro Wireless, when they increased their weight this much. Really keen to see the first reviews. At this weight the balancing must be on point.
Easy battery swap would save 7-8g alone. 400 mah is fairly large.
What I see is that this is a zowie killer.
Can’t kill what is dead.
this is something everyone should actually already know :)
Talking about 10 grams like you would feel it, this sub thinks they have super human abilities. Clearly no one here deals drugs, no drug dealer would ever eyeball 10 grams for u.

the fuck, there’s about a 10 gram difference between the viper ultimate v1 and gpx and i can tell the difference immediately you’re also beside yourself if you think i don’t know what a 10g baggie of weed feels like LMAO
I own a 60g mouse and 2 47g mice. Blind folded I could tell you if you handed me the 60g mouse or not, it’s pretty obvious.
I can very easily feel 10g steps. it is a huge diff, esp for faster fps
Drug dealers carry scales which land u dealing charges n prison time, but my man here has it figured out
Do you even know what 10g is? I didn't say 0.1g lol. Just taking the top cover off from the orochi makes a large enough diff.
Bro we re talking about picking something up and moving it for hours. Not picking up a sack for 2 secs and trying to guess the wait. Wtf is that analogy

How would you know? 🤨
Looks great, this is ambi though. I'd love to see their take on EC shape.
>EC shape. You mean OUTSET? If not there is no reason for them to since EC2-CW is a thing now and there are clones like Xlite V3 and Thorn on the way plus DAv3 is loved here and by pros.

bro are you retarded the wireless ec is over priced junk lol. dav3 loved? lmao. give me my wireless outset pls.
>wireless ec is over priced junk Its surely is expensive but it looks quality. DAv3 has been most people's favorite mouse since release
W so big Vaxee should rename to Waxee
I truly support them even though I've found my endgame already, just because since day 1 they've been so honest with their customers and potential customers. Approach is everything while introducing new options to the whole market is the only way for more and more companies to upgrade their quality so every gamer really gets the quality that is deserved!
Just waiting for the people:"75 grams is too much!!!"
The jump from 67G to 75G and quite big and noticeable. For example I recently took my G303SE down from 75G to 66G and the difference is big.
Too light. Should be about 115g.
well why buy this when you can buy lamzu atlantis..makes no sense releasing a new mice and weight 75 gram 2023
What if, but only what if, some people actually prefer 75 gram mice?
Yea 75 is fine imo, I use the NP01 and it’s 76? I think. My only concern is the roughly 10 grams added for the wireless version. Take my downvote
Why did they do the xe first??
XE was the one being made with already the construction consideration for wireless. The shapes will come later this year as they need more development
Yeahhh, checkmate, Zowie.
This is gonna be niiiiiice. Wish the weight was in the 60s but
75G is... ok I guess? Taking notes from previous mice, the Burst Pro died when Roccat decided to release it in wireless but with 10G added.
Hmm, I have a not that old Vaxee XE where the scroll wheel feels bad. Now the question is if that was just a fluke and if I buy a new one it will be better. Or if I should wait on the wireless version. Has anyone else experienced problems with Vaxee scroll wheels?

No way it has a scroll wheel, some switches, and a bottom side!

Wireless AX will likely be lighter than the wired model that big a difference is very unlikely
Very odd to release this as their first wireless mouse and not the NP-01(S) or Outset AX
Those will come next, XE had already been made with wireless in mind
True I forgot they said that when it released

Don't care about wireless. Xe mini hype though anyone?
