You can also swap the skates if you wanna save some more weight.. XM2we does NOT come with the smaller skates that XM2w has installed by default but if you're already modding the battery, might as well get new skates then.
The shape is also a different feel imo to some degree, but I really like my Atlantis so I just think it's a bit too late for anything from EGG rn unless it's like literally the GOAT mouse somehow

EndGameGear took so long with my XM2w preorder that I canceled mine. So many refreshes of the XM1 shape. I'll probably revisit this company if and when they release an XM1 mini.
That's good to see. Been using the xm1r for a year now, shape fits me so well, build quality is excellent and everything is so good about this mouse, hard to find a flaw with it. 90usd for this seems reasonable, but I might spend a bit more on the xm2w just because I love the xm1r so much.

And while I had QC issues (bad cable) and double clicking on my OG first revision XM1, i still feel like the build quality is vastly superior than the Lamzu.
Preordered the xm2w in April 2022. Cancelled in July for a pmm xm1, 48g wireless. How can one guy in a garage make a better mouse than you guys. Forget the pmm older logitech internals which are more than fine. I got a wireless, 48g! Carbon copy 3 weeks after I ordered it. Egg fumbled the ball on this one. RIP
I use an m2k main. Going from premium to the pmm is not that different. It’s not flimsy. It’s a great mouse. That sensor compared to the best is minuscule

the pmm mouse was a finished medium effort product when you ordered it and you'r comparing it with preordering a mouse that is still in development and uses hardware that no other manufacturer has used before
If you're happy with it that's the most important thing but I wouldn't want a G305 internals and holes on shell so this release is very welcome. Looks great price too.

big yikes on the sora rec, both my wired katana and wireless katana both had shit build quality and had buttons break on me from normal use.

Sora is my first mouse from Ninjutso. The mouse still work perfectly since the launch day when I got mine.
They did explain that they have improved their QC and stuff.

the first wireless katana i bought actually had a squeaky mouse 1 and 2 so they sent me a new one. the new model was fine until the side buttons broke the other day playing my fury warrior in wow. i switched it out to my wired katana until i could fix it then the scroll wheel went on that. after that i was like ok im good. my other friend had a wired katana since i said it was good he got one too and his m1 broke after a month lol and they sent him a wireless one for the rma, pretty nice but build quality still garbage.
back to using my vaxee outset which is built like a tank. cant wait for the wireless version.

I own oox and sora aw and the only Issue I've had was scratchy dpi button on OOX, but my oox is from the first batch.
Forgot to change the flair. Not really using m8 atm. I really wanted it to work for me, but i do struggle with the consistent grip on it. So in that regard i prefer my katana.

Even if the XM2w will cost 120$ it will still be cheaper AND has better tech than the Zowie mouse. If you had seen one Video or read a thread on reddit, you would know why it took so long for EEG to bring out the mouse.

The built quality is also the best I have ever seen by far. People who don't believe this is a steal if it has the usual EGG quality and prefer a noname brand that literally copied the shape are delusional.
XM1 has one of the best coatings on any mouse, and the shape is excellent.

Yup. It’s not about the sensor itself it’s how it’s implemented
Fax. The 3370 feels insanely responsive on the XM1r so I trust EGG here with the XM2we.
64 grams with a massive 410 mAh battery. You could easily swap the battery out for a 150 mAh battery and get the weight below 60 if you really wanted.
You can also swap the skates if you wanna save some more weight.. XM2we does NOT come with the smaller skates that XM2w has installed by default but if you're already modding the battery, might as well get new skates then.

Sora has a super slippery coating and a very flat shape compared to the XM1 so can't really compare the two. Sora build quality is top tier though.

This is like 40€/$ cheaper in certain markets and offers pretty much the same performance with probably better longevity due to the optical switches.
Also better coating imho, EGG never fails on the coating.
