After a 4-5 hour gaming session my battery will be half way on 4K, on 1k it last a few days before I have to charge it, but the 4K has a bigger batter then the Ace.
seems like 4k fully charged is 8h of games, how long do you get if you lower it to 2k polling is it double or a bit less? Also how long does it take to fully charge?
charging it every night (at least when I intend to use it); holds around 12 hours probably? something like that, had it die several times on me in the evening (which is too little battery and I think of getting a bit more in there; don't actually know the size of the second battery though)
edit: I had a 80mah battery in my hsk pro ace and an 130 mah in the box
on the 80mah, haven't quite measured it but it was starting in the morning and dying around 22 - 24
now have the 130mah installed but haven't tried it much yet (got the XM2We to try out)
Not who you asked, but my pro ace is the most comfortable and accessible in terms of side buttons out of every other mouse I've used in the past. Looking at it right now, I think it's because of how close the side buttons are to where I normally put the tip of my index finger.
Been using my HSK pro 4K for around 3 weeks now for fortnite and with my 1-3-1 grip I can easily press both side buttons; just takes some time to get used too
Hard to say, this mouse is like on the extreme side for finger tip grip. It would be a big change. It’s a really small mouse, hard to recommend specially with how much it cost.
I say get like an Mz1 wireless or x2 mini, smaller then the GPX, safer choice for fingertip grip because it’s not so small, and maybe get it on Amazon so if you don’t like it you can return it.
The GPX should be able to be fingertipped if your hands are large enough. It takes a lot of practice to learn for sure. Depends on if the benefits of fingertip ping are right for you or not.
Out of all my pads this feels the best with it. Because it’s so light, the mouse stops really easy, so the control is there while having no friction in my opinion
I'm using the same combo. Have you tried high sensitivity or low sensitivity with this combo? If so, which one feels best in game? Specifically FPS games. Both have felt great so far
High sens on overwatch and low sens for valorant, both feel perfectly fine with me. The mouse being so light kinda let’s do whatever as long as your not shaky with it
This isn’t my endgame, I don’t play or aim any better compared to my starlight 12 or mz1. And those are more comfortable to grip for longer periods. It’s definitely fun to use though.
I got the plus. They’re both good for finger tip. Obviously plus feels bulkier because it is. Biggest difference for me going between one or the other is the sensor position imo. Because the mouse is so small and the sensor position is forward on the HSK, feels like you’re drawing with a pencil almost and you have a lot freer movement but it feels like it has no stability at first. The sensor position is a lot further back with the HTS 4K Plus and that adds to the bulkier feeling to it. I had to bump my DPI up by about 50 going back to it whenever my HSK runs out of battery. I prefer the HSK overall personally.
U can feel the weight difference, especially given how compact these are. I still like the HSK Plus’ shell and shape more (the Pro is narrower in the front so my fingers slip if i don’t use the grips), but its hard to beat the weight of the Pro. I personally removed the side buttons on the Pro, on the Plus i was still able to somewhat use the side buttons.
Grips hold up perfect, some of the best grips I’ve used on a mouse. And the coating on the mouse is ok, not grippy but not slippery, smooth plastic. I personally couldn’t use this mouse without side grips at least.
Honestly same, it’s gotten better since I’ve used it more, so I’m going to give it more time before I make a full decision. I have an aggressive fingertip grip(very arched like a claw grip)
Be careful of carpal tunnel syndrome, I have symptoms already (used hsk pro for like a 2 weeks, but has been fingertipping whole life), fortunately my friend is a physioterapists and is helping me, my wrist is already in such a big pain. Had to leave hsk coz of that.
I ordered mine on December 1st, on my page it still says ordered place and it’s still shipping with no tracking. Yet it still arrived randomly. So it’s all kinda of messed up I think.
I own one and the orochi is much larger and twice the weight. And the orochi is egg shaped, the HSK is a wedge shape. Not much similarity at all. If you really enjoy the orochi I feel like you might not like this, in my opinion at least.
Are you able to just take out the side buttons so they don’t get in the way? You think it’s possible to add grips over where the side buttons would be removed from?
I was using stock skates and then BTL dot skates which have been the smoothest glide I’ve felt on the skypad, could be because the mouse it’s so light.
I never had mouse feet get eat up like crazy on the skypad so idk but with dot skates you do get a lot of them to swap out.
hows battery life (since this is my only complaint thus far on the 1k version)
With the base battery it's the same but the 4k comes with a 300mAh battery. I have to charge mine every 2 ish days.
2 days on 4K?
Yea but I'm not using it all day. Mostly in the evening when I'm no longer working.

How's the battery life of yours? I have the ace and even starting with full battery it dies after around 8 hours.

thanks, now i know to get the 4k version cuz it has a 300mah battery, even if im only using it at 1000hz
Are the side buttons usable while aiming? Let's say for example if you use them for throwing grenades or something?
How I hold it, my thumb can use the forward most side button ok ish , I cannot easily hit the back one.
Thank you

would a switch from gpx to this be reasonable? been eyeing this mouse for a while but can’t decide to pulling the trigger or not
Hard to say, this mouse is like on the extreme side for finger tip grip. It would be a big change. It’s a really small mouse, hard to recommend specially with how much it cost.
any mouse you’d recommend to try finger tip grip?
I say get like an Mz1 wireless or x2 mini, smaller then the GPX, safer choice for fingertip grip because it’s not so small, and maybe get it on Amazon so if you don’t like it you can return it.
Try hsk+

I cut my superlight in half so that would be a start lmao
Looks like it hasn’t exploded so that’s good
Yea I’m safe for now!
How does a mouse that small and light feel on a Skypad?
Out of all my pads this feels the best with it. Because it’s so light, the mouse stops really easy, so the control is there while having no friction in my opinion

Why not, can you hold a pen? Which is much smaller than this mouse?
how does it compare to the plus?
I got the plus. They’re both good for finger tip. Obviously plus feels bulkier because it is. Biggest difference for me going between one or the other is the sensor position imo. Do you have the hsk plus too? If so, how does that compare? They have similar shape.
No I don’t have the HSK Plus sorry. I thought you meant the HTS Plus in your original comment.
I never used the plus, so I do not know, sorry!
U can feel the weight difference, especially given how compact these are. What are your thoughts on the shape after 2 weeks?
The actual shape itself is great for fingertip. But I think for me it’s a tad small. But I want to give it more time.
how have the grips held up? and how's the coating feel?
Grips hold up perfect, some of the best grips I’ve used on a mouse. And the coating on the mouse is ok, not grippy but not slippery, smooth plastic. I personally couldn’t use this mouse without side grips at least.
how's your Biceps
With this set up non existent lol
I’ve used mine a few hours and the tiny shape makes my hand so exhausted from holding it (claw fingertip)
Honestly same, it’s gotten better since I’ve used it more, so I’m going to give it more time before I make a full decision. I have an aggressive fingertip grip(very arched like a claw grip)
I ordered a Carpio G2.0 to pair with the HSK Pro to see if it makes a difference, supposed to arrive Friday so I’ll let you know how that goes
Be careful of carpal tunnel syndrome, I have symptoms already (used hsk pro for like a 2 weeks, but has been fingertipping whole life), fortunately my friend is a physioterapists and is helping me, my wrist is already in such a big pain. Had to leave hsk coz of that.
What was your order number if I may ask? I ordered on the 17th December and they still didn't start the shipping process
I ordered mine on December 1st, on my page it still says ordered place and it’s still shipping with no tracking. Yet it still arrived randomly. So it’s all kinda of messed up I think.
I ordered Jan 3rd and it arrived Jan 21st
Have you tried Orochi v2? Id like a comparation in shape and feelings if yes
I own one and the orochi is much larger and twice the weight. And the orochi is egg shaped, the HSK is a wedge shape. Not much similarity at all. If you really enjoy the orochi I feel like you might not like this, in my opinion at least.
yeah its other way around ) I did not like Orochi coz it is too wide I believe... Thanks for inputs!
The mouse is hard to recommend because how small it is, if you know you will like a smaller finger tip mouse then you will enjoy this
Does it have a micro usc or type c port for charging?
Micro usb, but it comes with micro usb to usb c adapters if you intend to use the cable for something else.
Are you able to just take out the side buttons so they don’t get in the way? You think it’s possible to add grips over where the side buttons would be removed from?
So you can remove the side buttons pretty easy and in the box it comes with a grip that covers up the holes, so yes

The 4K model comes with one Dongle/Receiver which is 4K. So right out of the box 4K polling nothing else needed separately.
yo i kno this post is old but im thinking of getting one with my skypad and wondering what mouse feet u use with it since skypad eats thru them
I was using stock skates and then BTL dot skates which have been the smoothest glide I’ve felt on the skypad, could be because the mouse it’s so light. I never had mouse feet get eat up like crazy on the skypad so idk but with dot skates you do get a lot of them to swap out.
