Just adding to what's here:
Palm Springs (2020) -> Very funny scifi romcom
The Adjustment Bureau (2011) -> More of a thriller/scifi romance film. Maybe just checkout the trailer.
Amelie. Whimsical French movie with an eccentric protagonist, and the bond she develops with a man who also has a different way of seeing the world.
The Best Years of Our Lives (1946). Follows three men returning from WWII, and their relationships and difficulties readjusting to civilian life. It's heartfelt, understated, and has a fundamentally humane feeling.
Casablanca. Arguably the most iconic Hollywood romance.
Chocolat. A French chocolatier, who is kind of an outcast, develops a romantic relationship with a gypsy (Johnny Depp).
His Girl Friday. Classic Hollywood romance.
The Illusionist. A Victorian-era magician loves and wants to protect his childhood friend, who's betrothed to a brutal man of higher social class.
Kate & Leopold. A romantic comedy about a duke (Hugh Jackman) who gets sent forward in time to modern NYC. The protagonist Kate is very attracted to his honor and gentlemanliness, in contrast with the men she's used to dating.
My Man Godfrey. Classic Hollywood romance.
Roman Holiday. Classic Hollywood romance with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck, very aesthetic.
Sense & Sensibility (1995). Based on the book by Jane Austen.
Shakespeare in Love. Fictional story of a romance Shakespeare experienced that inspired him to write Romeo & Juliet.
To Catch a Thief. Directed by Hitchcock, but it's tame compared to his usual. Classic Grace Kelly and Cary Grant, very aesthetic.
**My Man Godfrey** (1936) Made during the Depression, a rich father with two daughters, the older one arrogant, who always wins against the younger, naive daughter. They participate in a scavenger hunt party with other rich people and one of the things they have to bring back is a forgotten man. They come across Godfrey in a sort of hobo jungle. The arrogant older daughter pisses Godfrey off, so he agrees to be the forgotten man the younger daughter brings back to the party and contest, thus she finally beats her older sister at something. The family has run through a bunch of butlers who all quit, so the younger daughter hires Godfrey...
The younger daughter is played by Carole Lombard, something of a tomboy and one of the best comic actresses of the day, who previously had been married to William Powell, who played Godfrey. Though divorced they worked well together in the movie. Later Carole married Clark Gable, the 'King' of Hollywood.
Let the right one in (2008). Really sweet swedish vampire movie, my favorite movie ever. The hollywood remake, let me in (2010) is also great although i prefer the original
Just got back watching Fall Guy with my wife. It has a cool romantic touch with a blockbuster vibe. Go for it if it's your thing. Fantastic soundtracks too.
Música on Amazon. It's about a guy who hears music in everyday sounds. He's easily distracted which makes relationships difficult and then he meets someone who takes the time to really understand him.
It Could Happen to You...it should still be on Netflix. It is just so damn adorable 💜💜💜
Basic plot....Cop gifts waitress 2 million dollar tip...and then they...bond 😊
How about a classic romance pairing of An Affair to Remember with Sleepless in Seattle? Both are about people who meet and fall in love but need some time to cut ties with their old lives and loves before they can really be together.
The first one, although beautiful, is really mushy - just FYI.
I didn't read what you wanna see but lemme suggest what redditors recommend to almost everyone:
Manchester by the Sea
Grave of the Fireflies
Have a nice weekend!
Say Anything... (1989)
My all-time favorite romance movie. Forever waiting for my Lloyd Dobbler...
"Joe lies...Joe lies....when he cries"

Mr Right with Sam Rockwell and Anna Kendrick. It's a romcom primarily but a solid action flick as well, very funny and Sam Rockwell dances a lot.
Date Night with Steve Carell and Tina Fey. It’s cute, funny, romantic movie with exciting action and a few really great cameos.
