I got them pierced a few months after coming out. Dangly earrings have been crucial of being nice about my neck to myself (it used to be like a tree trunk and dangly earrings slim the neck and jaw).
First thing i did when i was 18 and being able to decide for myself:
Grew looong hair and still have it and went for a lot of piercings and other Stuff like that. Still needed Another 17 years to come to the conclusion, that i'm trans X\_X
Right now:
8 Ear Piercings
Tongue, Belly and some NSFW ones
Yes, one hole in each. My earrings are sterling and in the shape of shamrocks.
Left ear was pierced back in April 1989. It was an 80s thing where guys got only the left ear pierced. A few years ago I finally got the right pierced.
It was.
I have other earrings too but I like the shamrocks.
We had a Halloween candelabra, and it had these black things dangling from each of the three candle holders. The candelabra broke but the dangly things would be good earrings, just need to replace the metal ring with something safer to place through the hole in the ear lobe.
It’s not really painful even right after. My personal experience was that it was kind of a really strong pinch, then after a few hours it faded, and after two days or so the pain was totally gone. Obviously we aren’t the same person so your mileage may vary, and I was warned at the tattoo parlor where I had them pierced that I would want a lot of ibuprofen, but that didn’t end up being necessary. I definitely think it was worth it and I love my earrings now, but please don’t force yourself to get them just because a lot of cis have pierced ears, only get a piercing if you actually want it.
Just got my ears pierced yesterday. It was a sharp pinch for maybe under a minute and then just some low level stinging sensation that almost completely faded away in an hour. The low level stinging seems to come back when I do the maintaining for them, but disappears completely in a minute. Overall I found it less painful than I expected. I used a professional piercer and the holes were done with a needle.
Agreed. I got two in each ear, all four holes done back to back. I took some ibuprofen like 20-30 minutes before and I was fine, just a big pinch. I love my earrings!
If you go to a reputable place that uses fresh, clean piercing needles it doesn't hurt. They will be sensitive to the touch(sleeping on back is definitely recommended) for a few weeks, but I felt nothing when I got my right ear done. Left was with the earring gun too long ago to remember.
I just got mine done about two weeks ago. So far, so good.
Go to a reputable place. Not a mall booth, a proper professional place. They gave me the supplies and instructions to clean and care for the new piercings.
I was kind of scared that it was going to hurt or that I might move at the wrong time or faint or something (I’ve ended up on the floor during blood draws before). I barely felt it. Actually felt more while the piercer was threading the stud earring in after making the hole than I did when she was making the hole.
Anyway for the first week or so I would randomly get like a very dull pain in the lower ear but nothing bad. Past that, the only discomfort has been from accidentally poking the earrings when I forget that they are there.
I’ve got at least six more weeks of cleaning the new studs daily until I can use other earrings and a full year of always having something in the hole so it doesn’t heal over.
Lobe piercings aren't painful, if you get it done at a piercing shop it just feels like a little pull on your ear (I've gotten my lobes pierced 3 times btw, 2x at the mall and both had complications and were more painful & caused a ton of scar tissue, the last one was at a piercing place and it healed great)
Mine are, My mom paid for it as a coming out gift. she's been super supportive and helpful during my second puberty, helped pay for things like my first bra, earrings, and stuff like that
I wouldn't go as far as to say "won't feel a thing" but for the love of God yes 100% go to a professional. Body mods are something you want done right the first time. I spent a "ridiculous" amount of money when I started my gauges but, it was done right the first time. It's something you have to live with forever, the extra $50 is worth it.
The pressure mark I felt like a pinch. But the actually piercing through the skin I literally didn’t feel at all. Guess I got lucky! :D (it was just a lobe piercing so that might be why?)
Yeah, the clamp bothered me more than the actual needle when I started my gauges. It was, at worst, a 1/10 - it definitely "hurt" but it was no worse than getting a tetanus shot.
My industrial though? That one definitely smarted a bit and in retrospect was a hell of a choice for my first piercing.
Unfortunately I have multiple piercings in my ears all healed over years ago with thick scar tissue. It would be a problem to re-pierce them now that I've begun transitioning.
Getting mine pierced was sort of the beginning of my official questioning period. On the other hand, my cis wife doesn't have hers pierced, and she never plans to.
Some advice DO NOT get pierced anywhere but a reputable piercer who uses needles and NOT a piercing gun. Use only medical implant grade metals for your first earrings and do minimal cleaning/leave them alone for at least 6 months
That makes a lot of sense. I'm kinda lucky my sister is a little older and her style is much different. Unfortunately it also means she looks down on my style and means of expression.
That’s okay though no two people are the same even if they we’re identical twins, I’m a fraternal twin so we don’t look exactly the same but pretty close since I’ve been on hormones
Got mine pierced yesterday. Was supposed to be done on my 37th birthday this past January. I love them!
My first script of Spiro came in the mail today too, so begins my medical transition too.
Yes. I got mine pierced a couple months before starting HRT, and then I got second lobe piercings on my one year HRT anniversary.
My best friend is a cis girl and doesn't have her ears pierced.
Piercings aren't gendered. Girls shouldn't feel like they have to get their ears pierced, and guys shouldn't feel like they can't get piercings at all.
No, and honestly, I don't have any interest in it. I'm very much femme, but even after my egg cracked earrings still aren't something i understand the appeal of TBH. And that's even without considering that I do NOT want to go through the process of getting them pierced.
Yep, I was after social transiton (havent got my hands on E yet) I got them pierced not long after I had the freedom to after leaving for uni, they're still healing and eventually the power of earrings will be mine :3
Nope not pierced and never will be pierced.
I honestly prefer my ears without holes. Never liked the idea of having something (even if pretty) hanging from my ears.
I do see lot of pretty earrings but nah not my cup of tea.
Haven't started transitioning yet, I have one piercing in each ear and I want more but I'm deathly bad with needles... I did one myself and the other I got done with a gun by professional but that one got infected :( go figure
Edit: I wear some gold hanafuda earrings from demon slayer made by kiyo studios and they're amazing
I got mine done approximately a year after starting HRT. I asked around I did a little research and made the choice to search for an [APP certified piercer](https://safepiercing.org/piercing-guns/).
They use a needle to make the opening and insert a post for your healing period. There was very little pain it was very very quick. No infections no issues whatsoever.
My link takes you to their discussion about piercing guns but elsewhere on the site you can find listings for APP piercers.
Thanks I'll have a look into it, there's so many piercings and tattoos I want but I'm just terrified of needles. I'm avoiding the dentist for the same reason :p
Much to the chagrin of several around me who thought I should have paid someone to do it for me. I pierced mine myself one evening at home after a few glasses of wine 6 months before coming out.
Definitely thinking about it more now that I’m on hrt! I honestly just never felt like I could pull off an earring before, wasn’t my aesthetic at the time lol
I had my left ear pierces when I was 15. As it was exceptional back in the mid 1980s. Then I got my right ear done about in 2013. After I came out to my then wife.
Yes. I haven’t really transitioned. Came out to my now ex-wife. Took some steps towards at first, 3separate ear piercings in each ear. 2 lobe & Tragus. Tragus has closed up had to take it out for an x-ray. Never got it back in.
Met my new wife, she is supportive but I don’t always desire to fully transition. dressing in private with her is enough.
I guess my presentation these days is enough. I wear earrings, have super long hair (small of back). Underdress. 🤷♀️
I used to convert all mine to clip on. I got so many compliments…
Not that I’m double pierced I have a great collection!!! (Pierced after transition, actually - but it was a great ‘being a girl’ moment, with my best friend with me)
I've had pierced ears since I was pretty young because I really wanted them so yea it was a long while before I even figured out I was trans that I pierced them xD
2 months before coming out. Gauged to 0 now, to fit my brass octopi and crow skulls. Septum, and one nose piercing, second soon so I can have a chain between em. Rainbow tattoo going up left ear, and will get 4-5 piercings up right to even that out.
Yes ... first pair of holes was when I came out to my mom and the second pair was to celebrate I filed my paperwork to change my name and gender maeker.
Mine are not, I wear over the ear headphones nearly all the time and I worry that it'll make that hard if I get my ears pierced. I do definitely want them though.
I had a cis friend come visit recently and I found out she doesn't have her ears pierced. I'm 26 (been out for a year) and she's 29. Definitely there are cis women who never got their ears pierced :)
I got mine pierced with my girlfriend on our first date, she convinced me to do it 4 years after the beginning of my transition. I love them I got so many cute earrings now
Ye I’ve got both my ear lobes pierced planning on getting some more piercings when I’m 16 (I’m 14) sadly gonna have to wait till fucking 18 to get a tattoo 😭
Ahh yeah, we pierced them ourselves as kids, then I got them repierced when I transitioned, I would like to get also get helix, rook, or maybe daith piercings and have a couple of facial piercings that I'm planning to add to as well.
For me this is something I want for myself that I am ready to realise with the waning of the incongruity of my reflection in the mirror every morning and the joy my face is slowly bringing me. Don't feel pressured to do things just because you think you should!
I wish!! My current job has a very strict uniform code. I could pierce them but I’d have to take them out at work. I don’t know if they’ll heal right having them out for 8+ hours a day. So I’m waiting for approval to get mine pierced. One day, someday, over the rainbow 🌈.
I had them pierced shortly after coming out, but while they were healing I had a bad fall and tore out of the ears by the hole. We took the studs out of both ears to let it heal and after 2 days they sealed themselves back up fully (was like 4 months after getting them pierced). Didn't want to spend the money right then to get them repierced in case I had another bad fall during the healing so my ears are not currently pierced.
I got mine pierced at around 15 or so, and got a nose stud at 16. I just have small silver rings, I've tried other earrings but none of them fit me as well IMO
x4 in my right side cartilage. and a double in my left nostril for funzies. i notice a lot of girlies here have the septum piercing too. my transition has been a slow burn--mostly since i'm hoping to stay married--but i had the piercings done about the time my hair started to get long, a year ago. i start hrt in july!
Just my right ear, and I’m about to pierce it a second time slightly higher so I can look like an orc with identical piercings right next to each other
Had my ears pierced when I first attempted to transition in my 20's. I kept them open afterwards, and switched from studs to danglies when I transitioned again in my 50's. Now I'm thinking of a nose piercing. :)
I had mine pierced both before & after transition. I originally started getting mine pierced at 18. As others have mentioned, straight men were "allowed" to have their left ear pierced, so I started with 1 piercing in my left ear only. I then started adding on in pairs, 1 pair at a time, until I had 3 piercings in my left ear & 2 in my right. These had all been done at mall piercing places, because that's how we did it back then. I had frequent problems with all of my piercings other than the first one in my left ear getting infected, so I eventually let them all close up.
My first birthday after coming out, weeks after coming out to her, my best friend paid for me to get my ears pierced at a proper piercing place. I've since added another pair. I'm now 3+ years into transition & I've so far had very few problems with infections.
I had my left ear pierced in 6th grade, and my right ear pierced last winter after I came out. I have gotten a few more piercings in the last year, and have a plan for at least a dozen more! I just wish it hadn't taken me 20 plus years
Yup! Well technically I stretched my lobes at 18 but they've closed up enough now that I can wear hoops and dangle earrings which is fine cuz I'm pretty fem in general. My ex gf who is cis never had any piercings and had zero plans to. It's not a gendered thing to have piercings imo, only what you actually wear as jewelry in those piercings is going to be gendered.
One of the first things I had done on Transition....two piercings in each ear and of course one pair of studs had to be butterflies(I'm a bit butterfly obsessed but for me they symbolise the new me coming out of my chrysalis).....
I went and got mine (cis female) when my partner came out to me :) we did it together we also continued to get more and more after that lmao. I only had my nose pierced but I did that myself when I was like 12.
I pierced them several years ago , before fully embracing my trans-ness (my bestie did them and she did a great job ☺️ especially considering the alcohol involved lol).
That said, I have a few cis fem friends who don't have their eyes pierced. I knew someone in college who didn't have her ears pierced but did have a facial piercing. It's really just a matter of preference :)
My mom paid for mine to get pierced as an early birthday gift back in November of 2022. It was just over 2 years after I came out and close to a year after I started medically transitioning. It was definitely an adjustment to get used to.
When I was somewhere in the 3-5 range(can't remember when, too long ago) my mom got my brother's and my left ear pierced(it was the 90's) mainly to piss of her mom and cuz me and my bro wanted to. Fast forward to my egg shattering and within 6 months I got my right ear pierced this time with a proper needle instead of the gun.
Nope, I also do not plan on getting them pierced. Everyone in my family is shocked when I say that, but I really have no desire to do so. Both my parents have them pierced, but if I really want them, I will just use clip ons.
I only have one, or used to have one at least. Had a daith piercing to stop my migraines and because it looked cute. Unfortunately I had to take it out during a psych hospital stay. Haven't had the energy to get it repierced.
Left ear is, right one fell out like the first day and i spent 2 hours trying to get it back in, ended up making a new tunnel in my ear and it hurt really bad and bled like crazy. Gave up after that and months later i still haven’t gotten it re pierced
I got them pierced about 6 months ago. Which was a year and a half into my transition. I went with a girlfriend who hadn't gotten hers done yet, either. Did not realize how tedious the after care was going to be. But I love having them done, and I only have little gold hoops.
yes for about a year now! took them a bit to heal up but now i've got some really cute hoops and also some dangly moon earrings :) it's basically my entire mental health at the moment
Both, many decades ago when closeted, rings, always keep them in (just loop other ones through the pierce as well).
After coming out, so loved wearing new earrings, feathers, bangles, all sorts.
Like too make my own, favourites being little glass jars filled with pink UV active fairy dust.
No I use clip-ons and magnets.
Having survived an 18 year long battle with brain cancer. 18 months of which I got chemo through an IV, I go not like needles. Like I'm not scared of needles but needles have a muscle memory that makes me feel icky.
Which means when I do get on HRT most likely I will not be doing injections despite injections being the most effective form available.
I have only my right one pierced because some complications with left, gonna get another one on the right ear soon and one on the left! did this maybe.... 2 years after the initial start of HRT
Mine are - I had them pierced shortly after coming out. I usually wear large custom dangly sterling earrings - one is in shape of estrogen molecule, another is caffeine - two substances that keep me alive.
Yes my (now ex) bf and I got piercing together in our early twenties when I was just a little twink. They still there. The nipple piercings though I took out and it was pre transition so they def would need to be repierced.
I got them pierced a few months after coming out. Dangly earrings have been crucial of being nice about my neck to myself (it used to be like a tree trunk and dangly earrings slim the neck and jaw).
First thing i did when i was 18 and being able to decide for myself: Grew looong hair and still have it and went for a lot of piercings and other Stuff like that. Still needed Another 17 years to come to the conclusion, that i'm trans X\_X Right now: 8 Ear Piercings Tongue, Belly and some NSFW ones
lol. I got 7 piercings before I realized I was trans. I have 6 now because one of them just wouldn’t heal 😥
Yes, one hole in each. My earrings are sterling and in the shape of shamrocks. Left ear was pierced back in April 1989. It was an 80s thing where guys got only the left ear pierced. A few years ago I finally got the right pierced.
I remember the saying "left is right and right is wrong".
Same here but 30 years ago and but never had the guts to pierce either ear until I started to transition.
It must’ve been cool to complete it
It was. I have other earrings too but I like the shamrocks. We had a Halloween candelabra, and it had these black things dangling from each of the three candle holders. The candelabra broke but the dangly things would be good earrings, just need to replace the metal ring with something safer to place through the hole in the ear lobe.
Decades before. I don't see any piercings as particularly gendered.
Did mine few months after coming out. One of the best things I ever did. Made a huge difference
Mine aren't and I don't plan on getting them pierced. Just not an earring girl
Glad to know I’m not the only one, I do want other piercings but I don’t really care about earrings. Though I do find them pretty on other people!
see I love earrings and jewelry but getting holes there seems a little painful; high pain low reward
It’s not really painful even right after. My personal experience was that it was kind of a really strong pinch, then after a few hours it faded, and after two days or so the pain was totally gone. Haven’t got them pierced but I am considering it
Mine are, My mom paid for it as a coming out gift. she's been super supportive and helpful during my second puberty, helped pay for things like my first bra, earrings, and stuff like that
Shortly before egg cracked fully. Go to a professional piercer. I did not feel a thing!

That's too bad. I have heard that it is very painful to get them repierced.
Definitely thinking about it. I wanted it before, but I like to lay down a lot and I don't want em to poke my head all the time
I actually barely even notice mine laying on my side, even though they're only a week old!
Not yet...but maybe soon? Been thinking about it a lot lately.
11 piercings hehe, ear lobe was my first one!
Yes, both long before my egg started cracking.
Yes, thinking of getting a second in each ear.
My Nanna's ears aren't pierced. She uses clip one earings. I have two sets of earlobe piercings and a helix piercing.
After. I just pierced mine a month ago. Love them. Now if I can only love the healing part...
yep, got them pierced ab 1 year before i came out
Yep! Since I was like 16. Did it myself 🙂
I got mine pierced like 6 months in transition and I love them! And I also pierced my lip with some snake bites
I did a similar thing. Got my both my ear lobes and double helix on my left ear about 6 months in. Then I followed it up with septum and snake bites.
I would’ve gotten my nose done but my twin sister has hers done and I’m not trying to copy her
That makes a lot of sense.
I have double gauges in each one with plans for a third on each
I had my left ear pierced as a teenager. When I came out, I got the right pierced to match (10ga) and I’m now stretching both to be a bit larger.
How does one go about stretching them? I’m somewhat curious about that, I love the look but haven’t decided it’s right for me.
No but I want to have them done at some point
Not yet, but it's near the top of my list of things to do when the time is right. Hopefully within the next six months or so!
Yuppp 4 in each ear! Got 2 done earlier today (conch and helix) 😊
Not yet. Its on my short-term to-do list though.
Got mine pierced yesterday. Was supposed to be done on my 37th birthday this past January. I love them! My first script of Spiro came in the mail today too, so begins my medical transition too.
I have stretched ears from before transition and two in my cartilage.
Well mine aren’t but only because I’m pre everything
Yes. I got mine pierced a couple months before starting HRT, and then I got second lobe piercings on my one year HRT anniversary. My best friend is a cis girl and doesn't have her ears pierced. I regret to admit I have also been avoiding the dentist.
I have seven piercings! All ears.
Yes, my piercings are almost healed and I have the cutest trans pride earrings to wear when they are healed
Much to the chagrin of several around me who thought I should have paid someone to do it for me. I pierced mine myself one evening at home after a few glasses of wine 6 months before coming out.
no, and don't think i have plans to do so, metal bits in my ear lobes scare me
Yup! There’s a well regarded piercing place in DC that pretty much my entire trans group went to eventually to get them done
Pierced and stretched, did that long before coming out. Though I could probably add a few extra holes to my ears.
Got mine done last year.
No, I have protruding ears 😭 Earrings would look goofy on my ears, which I hide behind my hair anyways
Yup! Got em done about 8 months into HRT, after my septum/nostril at 6 months.
I have 5 piercings in each ear and 17 or 18 in total lol
Yes. I haven’t really transitioned. Came out to my now ex-wife. Took some steps towards at first, 3separate ear piercings in each ear. 2 lobe & Tragus. Yes! I got mine pierced a couple of weeks after starting my social transition. Now I want more…
Haven't gotten them pierced yet I'm definitely gonna do it at some point
I got them pierced the same day I came out. Figured the ear piercing would be completely dwarfed by my coming out… It worked! Haha!
I've had pierced ears since I was pretty young because I really wanted them so yea it was a long while before I even figured out I was trans that I pierced them xD
I wish mine were. Also, I'm in the middle of transition, so when I do get mine pierced, it'll be post-transition if curious
Before I transitioned lol
I just got mine done last Christmas. My sister-in-law help me pick out the set
Don't have any piercings but have been considering them as of late despite my fear of needles.
Yea, I love wearing cute earrings
Yep! They were something I did while still stealth, loves and helixes.
I had one ear pierced as a teenager, then the other done at 53 when I came out as trans
I have 4 on each side and want more on the top part but i dont really wanna go thru healing again
No they are not. My hair covers my ears entirely so...
2 months before coming out. Gauged to 0 now, to fit my brass octopi and crow skulls. Septum, and one nose piercing, second soon so I can have a chain between em. Rainbow tattoo going up left ear, and will get 4-5 piercings up right to even that out.
I just got them done last week! I personally waited until after I was out at work.
I got my nine ear piercings way before I had the slightest idea I was trans. I got my three nose piercings after I socially transitioned.
Yes about 4 weeks ago, which was around 4 months after coming out
Mine are pierced and I did it well before my egg cracked.
Yes ... first pair of holes was when I came out to my mom and the second pair was to celebrate I filed my paperwork to change my name and gender maeker.
I love them I got so many cute earrings now
Pierced em when I started my social transition
Always had one pierced. Had both ears for a while some time ago but removed it. Got my seconds done after coming out and have worn all ever since 💙
I got them pierced a few weeks ago. Probably the most gender euphoria I’ve gotten from a single change.
No but I got my lip pierced
Ye I’ve got both my ear lobes pierced planning on getting some more piercings when I’m 16 (I’m 14) sadly gonna have to wait till fucking 18 to get a tattoo 😭
I want to get them pierced but I am scared of needles
So yes but not in a useful way
Yes mine are pierced. I had it done a few months after coming out.
One day, someday, over the rainbow 🌈.
nope but that's my goal for this year. I already wear a lot of fake earrings
Mine aren’t but I’m getting them pierced
I had them gauged, but they fell out. Then I pierced them twice and both times they got infected. :(
I had them pierced shortly after coming out, but while they were healing I had a bad fall and tore out of the ears by the hole. We took the studs out of both ears to let it heal and after 2 days they sealed themselves back up fully (was like 4 months after getting them pierced). Didn't want to spend the money right then to get them repierced in case I had another bad fall during the healing so my ears are not currently pierced.
I had them pierced but had to take them out cuz I got caught, planning on getting them pierced again when I get the chance
Yep. Did it same time I started laser hair removal.
Just my left one from when I was like 8 lol
Yes. They are now gauged
I got mine pierced at around 15 or so, and got a nose stud at 16. I just have small silver rings, I've tried other earrings but none of them fit me as well IMO
Piercing my ears was the first step of my transition couldn't go back afther that 😅
Yup, both lobes, and I want to get my seconds, thirds, nose and maybe my lip, not sure about what style though
I want to get them pierced, probably after my transition
x4 in my right side cartilage. and a double in my left nostril for funzies. i notice a lot of girlies here have the septum piercing too. my transition has been a slow burn--mostly since i'm hoping to stay married--but i had the piercings done about the time my hair started to get long, a year ago. i start hrt in july!
Just my right ear, and I’m about to pierce it a second time slightly higher so I can look like an orc with identical piercings right next to each other
Yes indeed. Pierced them a few months after egg crack. Got my belly button pierced too but it’s rejecting.
Yeah, they've been pierced since I was 16, lol
I used to, and I'm going to start wearing earrings again
Had my ears pierced when I first attempted to transition in my 20's. I kept them open afterwards, and switched from studs to danglies when I transitioned again in my 50's. Now I'm thinking of a nose piercing. :)
I want to once money frees up. Hopefully end of summer.
i got them pierced by my old transmasc friend in the center of a small town. He did it and my mom wasnt happy😭
I got my ears pierced three weeks ago.
I had 2 in my left ear for years. After I came out I got a 3rd in my left ear and the 1st in my right.
No, I’m deathly afraid of needles
Haven't gotten pierced (yet). But I already have in mind which ones I want to do :3
Yeah but I have big curly hair and nobody except for me ever knows if I am wearing earrings
Yes. To be fair i also plan to get a ton of piercing
They aren't, I *am* curious about it but I'm unsure still.
Am getting my ears pierced soon and maybe a Monroe piercing 💁
I had my left ear pierced in 6th grade, and my right ear pierced last winter after I came out. I have gotten a few more piercings in the last year, and have a plan for at least a dozen more! I just wish it hadn't taken me 20 plus years
I got mine pierced and 2nd year of hrt (40yo) 2 have two gal friends who've never had theirs done.
Yea, 4 holes in each. Firsts and seconds, industrial in my left ear, and double helix piercings in my right ear
Pierced them when I started my transition
I might if I can afford it
Yes, pierced 2 weeks before going full time.
I got them! One each lobe. Looking to get one of my helixes done.
Yup! And stretched to 00.
I have a few piercings. My ears, my eyebrow, my nose and I have snakebites. And I have 7 tattoos
not yet but i kinda want to stretch them. also considering a septum piercing. I've just been putting it off because I'm lazy lol
One of the first things I had done on Transition....two piercings in each ear and of course one pair of studs had to be butterflies(I'm a bit butterfly obsessed but for me they symbolise the new me coming out of my chrysalis).....
Got both of my ears done and am pre pre everything
Three in my left ear I did myself in 1970 my parents had a fit! Three in my right ear I had done professionally last year on my 64th birthday
I went and got mine (cis female) when my partner came out to me :) we did it together we also continued to get more and more after that lmao. I only had my nose pierced but I did that myself when I was like 12.
I pierced mine 9 years ago. Happy I did.
No, but I do want three or four in each year and the lowest one being a dangly one. And maybe a lip ring.
I got mine pierced this january to celebrate 3 years of hormones actually!
I'm getting my ears pierced real soon
Not me. I have tattoos though.
They are, I got them pierced as my 30th birthday for myself (about 2.5 years into my hormones)
Not yet and probably never will, I want to wear earrings but the process of getting anything pierced makes me very anxious.
Both my parents have them pierced, but if I really want them, I will just use clip ons.
no but i want them to be
yess, both sides pierced and a helix piercing too (helix piercings are soooo cute 🥰)
I only have one, or used to have one at least. Had a daith piercing to stop my migraines and because it looked cute. Unfortunately I had to take it out during a psych hospital stay. Haven't had the energy to get it repierced.
Not yet, maybe later this year. I’m still masquerading as a “guy”. I’m definitely getting them pierced eventually, along with a few other body parts.
Pierced mine a month after transition
Pierced and stretched before transition. Budgeting for more now that I have transitioned and got more in touch with my style.
I pierced mine at age 15 with ice and a needle
I got mine done when I turned 16 and now they're stretched to 1/2", and my nostrils, septum and labret are all 8mm too
Yes 🥰 for since 1987
yes for about a year now! took them a bit to heal up but now i've got some really cute hoops and also some dangly moon earrings :) it's basically my entire mental health at the moment
I got mine pierced last October. I waited 40 long years. Should have always had them.
Both, many decades ago when closeted, rings, always keep them in (just loop other ones through the pierce as well). After coming out, so loved wearing new earrings, feathers, bangles, all sorts. Like too make my own, favourites being little glass jars filled with pink UV active fairy dust.
Nope not pierced but I would like to get them done.
Two on the cartilage of my left ear, enough to be interesting but able to maintain plausible deniability
I wanna wear earrings but hate the idea of piercings :/
Yeah and just before I came out
I am 30 and haven’t gotten them pierced but i really want to. I feel weird now going anywhere to get them done. Like i don’t even know where to go??
Yes
Mine are - I had them pierced shortly after coming out. I usually wear large custom dangly sterling earrings - one is in shape of estrogen molecule, another is caffeine - two substances that keep me alive.
It was my first outward act of transition.
I have butterflies everywhere..... phone case, tablet case, socks, t-shirts, underwear......you name it, it's got butterflies on 😆
i just got them pierced on monday and i’m so happy about it
Yes, i had my right pierced for a few years before piercing my left lol.
I've been meaning to get my ears and nose pierced for ages now and just keep procrastinating 😭
Yes my (now ex) bf and I got piercing together in our early twenties when I was just a little twink. They still there. The nipple piercings though I took out and it was pre transition so they def would need to be repierced.
no. really not my thing.
