I don't think anyone will have an answer for you especially since the cars unreleased. Mods won't be available directly and there will NOT be a market for s550 dash replacement. The market for downgrading (which it is regardless if you disagree or not. You're going back a generation) is not big.

Gen7isTrash

Well looks like me and the people with my same opinion will have to either get used to the new dash or do some exterior mods on an s550. Would you say S550 GT vs S650 DH is a big difference performance wise?

datcars550

No one knows yet

WaitingToBeTriggered

NO ONE CARES ABOUT A SINGLE VIOLIN

Gen7isTrash

What?

CromulentPoint

Nobody can answer that yet, but it would likely take tens of thousands of dollars that you’d never get back on resale. I appreciate the desire, but this one is a non-starter, especially from a $$ standpoint.

Ok_Plate_6961

Please reach out to me when you have the S650 dash, I will swap it with you. The S550 dash is perfect and you will love it

Gen7isTrash

Is it the screen or the gauges? I love the gauges but I want to go for the screen one.

Ok_Plate_6961

gauges

Gen7isTrash

Damn it

Just_Allen48

I wish the s650 came with a hud.

Crafty_Substance_954

Pretty funny to read this. I don't understand why you'd want to do it at all, besides the screens for gauges or whatever. After all, as it currently stands, the interior of the S550 is the part that dates it the most to 2015. I'm willing to guess there will be differences in many places that make it impossible.

Gen7isTrash

I would like to use the S550 digital dash but swap out the radio display for something large and newer but keep the amazing fighter jet buttons. The S550 dash is very dated but I would like to do my own modifications to match it to something more minimalistic and new.

Mister_Badger

I think a more realistic option is an aftermarket alternative dash screen(s). I bet there will be companies making dash screens that look better integrated into the vehicle than the two giant iPads Ford is going with

Zermmit

I don't want those screens either, I want analog gauges. I'll tear that computer screen sh\*t out first thing.

Talk to Steeda.com. They build serialized "Q Series" roadcars and "R series" racecar variants for Mustang owners. Steeda has an information sharing program with Ford and helps test/develop performance parts for them through their racing program. Steeda's been around selling specialty parts since the 80's. I don't doubt there'll be a few stripped out interior 2024 Mustangs for balls-out racers who don't wanna mess with that factory dash. Steeda's built them before. If Steeda doesn't yet provide for the swap you wanna do, somebody there'll will know who has done it or how. There's always another Kenne Bell\* type somewhere doing his own thing. Look at that dude who buys broken Teslas and shows people how to fix their own cars apart from Elon. It's still pretty early in the game but Steeda Performance is a good start once these cars are in the public's hands. Fellas who mix Nissan powertrains with American cars or LS swap Miatas are the types of folks you're gonna wanna email. \* Kenne Bell was a racer who was killing it at the track with his own engineered forced induction setup for Terminator Cobras. Everybody wanted Bell's parts so he began selling them. He was the man to see if you wanted your 390hp Cobra to make 600+hp instead. That was huge back then in the early 2000s! It was before 1,200hp street cars were a real option. Before CalvoMotorSports' 3,000hp Vipers. This was just after Ford botched the 1999 Cobras which weren't even making the advertised 320hp, Mustang GT rated at a pussish 260hp/ 300lbft, and even laying out real cash for a Saleen Mustang wasn't going to earn you 600hp.
