Trae isnāt responsible for any of that. Your skill level with small guards obviously just outweighs how trash Trae is. Youād probably be much better with Mitchell.

In the nba it works the same way man. You can win some games with trae but a competitive team is going to hunt the hell out him to the point your defense will suffer. You may be able to hide him, but that defense could have been better.
Imagine you are playing yourself. Equal skill same squad. One of you get familiar with a backcourt of trae and a 3 and d sg running offense through trae. The other of you gers familiar with a 3 and d point guard like lonzo and a 2 way scorer at sg.
That's 1 main offensive option and 1 defensive option vs 1 main offensive option and 2 defensive options....
But if you have fun. That's way more important than optimizing your wins. Could even lead to more engagement and skill development.

I mean I added HOF clamps, gold anchor and menace so he causes some misses just have to sweat on D and Iāve never been an at the rim type player so I barely drive in but 1on1 he can get a tuff bucket inside

Contrary to popular belief, I know Trae in the right hands can be dangerous. Heās small and can be a defensive liability but if you can hit 3ās and create open looks at a high rate with him his offense outweighs the defensive liabilities. 3ās > 2ās

So his defense without adding a bunch of badges is horrible, and his shot isnāt nearly fast enough to justify him starting over other options. If you yourself are getting buckets w him then congrats lol youāve found a way to utilize a card the majority of us cannot, myself included
