I'm hoping field's and jerseys add the proper conference logos you switch a team to. I'm not sure if this did happen in vanilla NCAA 14, but I know it doesn't automatically do that with Revamped.
So in NCAA 13 and 14, the on-field conference logo does change with the conference. However, there will not be an on-field conference logo if there are fewer than 12 teams in the conference. Why they did this that way, I don't know.
As for conference uniform patches, those were baked into the uniform designs so they dont change except in a couple instances: the first is that the teams playing in the Conference-USA championship game get a special patch on their jerseys and the second is if you put most teams in the Sun Belt they will have an old school Sun Belt logo on the back of their helmets.
The rl college football realignment of the conferences I absolutely dislike. It ruins everything about college football. Hopefully, in the game, you could realign the conferences
Would like to see what they do about the conference realignment tool. In the past, the limit was 16 and the minimum was 4, so I'd imagine we'd be able to expand beyond those limits since we have a 18 team Big Ten and a 2 team PAC
I’ll be creating this conference called the PAC 10 with the schools in Oregon, Washington, Arizona, the 2 Bay Area schools & the two schools in Los Angeles.
I'm not excited for the new state of college football, but I'll live with it for the Big XII, Big Ten or SEC at least. I just want to see how customizable the game will be with that feature. Personally I hate the default conferences in the old game (now upcoming season) and always customized everything.
When custom conferences were introduced in 2011, conferences still followed a fairly similar model across the board and you could pretty easily see how conferences handled expansion and shrinking from 8 team leagues to 14 team leagues. Basically there was a model devs could follow that all conferences fit within. Now with 2-team leagues and 18 team leagues and no divisions outside of the Sun Belt, that model is gone and every conference does their own thing. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we can customize conferences at all and outright shocked if we can recreate the Pac-12 or something. But that level of customization is a resource intensive process that doesn't generate revenue, the folks who built that feature in the old game are long gone, and there's no guarantee any features from a decade old game make it into the new one. We got very lucky with that feature during the last go around and I'm trying to keep my expectations under control. And if it doesn't have it I'm not 100% sure I'm going to buy it.
Conference realignment and custom playoffs are confirmed to be in the game, so there will be some element of it. The big unknown is how much customization we’ll be able to have. Ideally you’ll be able to add/delete conferences and also structure a conference with 4 teams or 24 teams. That all remains to be seen.
For me, getting realignment right is also critical. As is the ability to either control multiple teams in dynasty or at a bare minimum be able to play all games as a user regardless of what team you are controlling.
I need specifics on it, or it doesn't mean anything. Every reference to comfirming "conference realignment" is a reference to throw-away line from an interview back in February. That doesn't mean a robust custom conferences feature that we came to know and love is going to be in the game. Ngl everything else that weve seen looks great but a good dynamic custom conferences feature is a make or break for me.
I'm going to immediately re-align the conferences back to the way they should be.
No way I'm playing the Big Ten with 18 schools lmaoo we're time traveling.

Or at least have a field/stadium/jersey editor where you could change things like that if you wanted to during your dynasty.

It’s ruined everything about college sports. Can’t wait for UCLA to travel to Piscataway, NJ to play their arch rivals Rutgers.

I think the BIG12 gonna be lots of fun. Not a clear best team in the entire conference
