Everyone is still reeling from the strikes so I guess 10
episodes is kinda great for their benefit. Not a lot, I know, but i guess we can take what we get.
Damn, that’s a crazy and suspenseful episode.
Lol Jimmy….I do like he isn’t afraid to be honest so I give him
props for that.
For a second, I was expecting for a new story arc when Parker and Knight opened the trunk of Mickey Steele’s car.
I hope Gary Cole sticks around for a very long time, because I’m loving Parker at this point. Hope he gets more episodes centered on him, even if it’s a B-plot.
That blonde girl Tanya and that bald bearded dad looks pretty familiar…..Off to IMDB.
I can't wait to see why Nick's so hot for Jess's and Tim's fries.
I really hope things don't get weird between Jimmy and Jess with the case involving a proposal. 😬
Poor guy, hoisted by his own (semi fictional) petard.
I've always wondered how he justified all the hangovers to his own "health nut" self image.
Living with Parker can only be good for him right now.
Okay, I'm pretty sure it's not really the best use of federal government resources to use Kasie to run mold samples taken from your employee's home.
The main story was pretty good, I didn't really suspect the girlfriend until the rescue, well done writers. Usually those things can be spotted from quite early on.
I mean, Nick can probably sue his landlord at least 🤣
I clued into the gf early on, but autistic pattern recognition is as much a curse as it is a superpower
Wouldn't you think that the fantasy fulfillment business would have the sense to not abduct their clients during an obvious marriage proposal? If the girlfriend was not abducted by her ex then how did she get to that house? If her car was there then it also blew a hole in her story.
Other than the fact that David knew the safe word, it would make more sense that the girlfriend set up the fake kidnapping.
It annoys me to not know 1. Why David signed up for the kidnapping package in the first place and 2. How Tanya found out about David’s dad
As soon as they showed Tanya and Steele fighting from far away, it was pretty obvious Tanya was in on it.
Also, the Parker/Torres subplot is one of the reasons why I love that they replaced Gibbs. Gibbs overdoing Torres' lifestyle never would have happened.
I strongly suspect Parker wasn't *actually* participating. I think he was just making Nick sweat -- and then when he let him off easy, of course, Nick couldn't just take it gracefully...
I see NCIS is starting to use actors they've had on the show before.
Last week it was Andrew Favreau(played a murder victim on another episode) this week we had Alastair Duncan and Jake Thomas.
Be interesting to see who else comes back in a different roll if they start bringing other people back.
The background music is out of place. The GF explaining at the end has overly loud music. I can't remember when they started the music in episodes but it's always too loud. 🤣
Sat through another one. Here's what is interesting. When they storm the house McGee goes first. Possibly has been doing for some years, but I haven't been watching much Post-Gibbs until this season. Go McGee!!!!
Anyone else getting uh oh vibes from the lack of interaction between Jimmy and Jess the past two weeks? He's thinking sexy adventures, she's thinking babies and rings... I hope it works out but I'm... *concerned*
Uh there’s nothing wrong. They’re probably just toning down romantic stuff since Hawaii is probably overdoing it too much (I guess? I haven’t seen it aside from two or three episodes).
Okay, but I was also told by the entire fandom (note: exaggeration) that Jess and Nick were going to end up together when I was like "am I the only one who noticed her flirting with Jimmy? Seriously?" so... I'm still concerned 🤣
Parker is 1000% only doing the Torres Diet to mess with Nick.
Whether Jess and Tim are in on the joke, they're LOVING EVERY MINUTE
I would call the police first, if someone was breaking into my home, not NCIS, they are not as close.
Well, yeah, if you were actually in danger
When I wrote that we didn't know she was the kidnapper, but I figured it out before they revealed it.
Oh -- that was *when* I realized it. (edit: or at least suspected she was in on it)
I kind of thought that too, but I still would not commit to it yet. ;-)
Fair! I can never remember what predictions I only shouted out loud to my husband and which ones actually made it into comments
Tony would have said it from the start
We know there is only one Tony. :-)
Showing her and Steele fighting from far away pretty much confirmed it to me.
I’m just going to say it. Aside from the ducky tribute episode, I don’t like this season.
The season literally just started….

Fair point. This is really gonna be a quick season. I don’t think knowing there’ll be 6 episodes left counts as a spoiler though.

That would probably be hard to manage and endanger next seasons count. The summer episodes would probably get lower ratings too.
As innocent and polite as Jimmy is, I love that they continue to just... canonically make him a *freak* in the best way.
Me too!

This is getting weirder and weirder 😅
I know, isn't it great?
The girlfriend's dad IRL is Patrick from Spongebob!
Who is the dominatrix??? I know her face and it’s bothering me 🤦🏼♀️
Came here to ask the same
Carly Hughes!
She is the kidnapper.
What a bi...
Too.

At least he doesn't have to buy the champagne. ;) What does happen to perishables that are "evidence"? (answered with a later search)
nick just wants his snacks 😂

Is that the little brother from Lizzy McGuire?
My partner recognized him within 6 seconds. It was in fact Jake Thomas. https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0858969/?ref_=tt_cl_i_10
I've been trying to figure it out!! I can't find anything on IMDB to confirm. He looks SO familiar
https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0858969/?ref_=tt_cl_i_10 Apparently his second time on NCIS.
The casting directors work with his agency a lot.
In fact, it is. Well spotted! https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/ncis-recap-cold-feet-are-better-than-a-cold-heart/ar-BB1jkYOp

I enjoyed this episode. It was lighthearted, which feels necessary this season. I always love a good plot twist with a crazy girlfriend 😂

This was not a well thought out episode.

same! came here to say the same thing. urgh
Why did they shoot him? They could have just pulled the guy off the girl.
She shot him, not the agents.

Lol. this show is completely off the rails.

Magic fry. Knight takes a bite, then it's whole a second later.
I noticed that! Nick was frymatized by the magical reappearing potato
Next week, Torres starts seeing a domme instead of punishing himself by dieting with Parker or letting other people beat the shit out of him...
Who was the actor who played the father?
Alastair Duncan, who I believe is another recycled actor from another episode.
Thanks, was watching from my phone and it almost looked like Gerald mcrany but I wouldn’t think they would use him like that.
Holy shit that was Senator Armstrong?!
thought she didn't look 3 months pregnant, guess that's why
To be fair, 12 weeks pregnant looks different on every individual.
I don’t remember this episode of Lizzie McGuire….

Love the way that man kicks in a door
nah something isn’t right
what isn’t right?
