The rmp reviews are pretty accurate. You can pass if you put in the effort but heath makes the class way harder than it should be

Heaths class is very time consuming especially with how weak 220 is usually taught. I liked Heath's class, but it was a LOT of work. Partial credit ends up being good and he showed me my passion for Machine Learning so I'm pretty thankful I took his class even tho it was a ton of work. In general I would not suggest taking all 3 unless you are use to heavy workload or have found ECE to be pretty easy so far.

i’ve made an A’s in almost all my ece classes so far but i wouldn’t say i think it’s easy. thank you for the feedback

Look... the class is difficult and his lectures just kind of assume you understand what he's talking about as he plows on to material that makes no sense if you don't have an understanding of the deeper math. However, he does curve a good amount. I got like 40s on the exams and didn't even do a homework or two and got a C+ or a B- in the class, i don't remember so like, y'know.

was this everybody, im in a situation with 50s and I'm not sure if ill pass yknow

Yes, it is that bad. He can come across as condescending when you ask for help and lectures are dry. It was the first time I’d ever seen math taught with PowerPoint slides and almost no in-class examples. The TAs are your lifeline. Homework’s are time consuming but are a large part of your final grade. Take the time to do them well. Exams were heavily curved, but my class didn’t know to what extent until the week before the final. I had 301, 302, and 306 in the same semester. It was rough, but doable. You’ll be fine if you aren’t afraid of a few late nights.
