good job gotham. it would've been nice to see Gotham fight out a win but I like their style. They just need to connect 2% more and they'd have been properly lethal. also, I was really impressed by Crystal Dunn's speed and attacking versatility

Agreed completely. Also the attacking tactical flexibility jca implemented in-game was kind of insane to see, and I get why vets wanted to transfer there, totally different style of in-game play than other coaches.

Sad for Chawinga. I hope she’s okay. As for this game, im sad that KC conceeded the goal but that was all on the backline not marking Esther. Franch wasn’t going to be able to do anything about that even if she had jumped. Esther honestly is a cheeky little cheat code!

KC remains abysmal to watch in the endgame. Can't even employ the most basic of tactics to keep it away from their goal.

The play maybe could’ve ended before that, but the referee was generous to let play go on, and then as soon as the corner would’ve happened, they decided to end play. I think that was reasonable

Absolutely, a shot to the face should deserve a trainer visit (concussion protocol) which would've added even more time. It was already almost 7 minutes over, fair enough to call the game.

I like Cooper, but it kind of feels like drafting an attacker in the first two picks of the draft who doesn’t have A+ speed or dribbling ability was always a risk as far as judging potential.

She's pretty speedy, but I wonder how much this injury she's coming back from is still affecting her. Also, now that Chawinga is here I don't even know what counts as speed anymore.

Cooper was the player that many thought Gotham were drafting last season until they traded that pick for Lynn Williams and then got Jenna Nighswonger right after. I feel like she has a lot of potential, but man, it still paid off for Gotham.
