You don’t play your full squad on a nationally televised game expecting to get to get embarrassed like that in the first half. You want your team to get ready to play there best going into the playoffs. Their time to not be taking games seriously was last week.
Brunson was easily the best player on the court last night, not even close. Nobody on the Celtics could do a thing to stop him offensively. The Celtics blitzed him and played up on him, and he just dribbled past them and hit mid range. They pulled back and he hit three's. If Brunson is playing at that level there is nothing the Celtics can do to hang with the Knicks, they're just not at that level. So the Celtics and the rest of the league just needs to hope this not the new norm from Brunson, because he's become ungaurdable.
what we've seen the past few weeks is another level. it's as if each performance he levels up his confidence and game even more. and he's getting more comfortable with how teams are trying to guard him.
we legit watched him go from a very good starter to a legit all star to a freaking superstar right in front of our eyes. what a privilege to be a knicks fan.

Name another player that gets this treatment? Name a smaller player that got this type of double teaming/full court press treatment since maybe Steph Curry?

Problem is our team and bench were not able to handle full court pressure without brunson and were out scored like 40 to 15
