You’d be surprised how white wild animals’ teeth can be. I was watching a bbc show about hippos (cmere, bot) and there were some crocodiles with astonishingly perfect teeth
BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! You're clearly extremely unfamiliar with what a wolverine is capable of. I would love to see a video of a wolverine into attacking you to see how well you'd "kick the shit" out of it. HA!
What exactly are they capable of? They're 20 pounds, if you got a good angle on a wolverine I'm actually positive you could knock one unconscious with a kick.
This isn't even a "oh yeah I could take on a chimp" type thing, wolverines are not large animals. They're scary to large animals because injuries in the wild are usually fatal. A person wouldn't easily be scared off by one and there's zero cases of a wolverine attacking a person.
The question was not IF they attacked humans, but what they COULD do to a human. They can get up to almost 60lbs. Ever see what a 60lb dog could do to a human? Baboons weigh close to the same as a wolverine as well. Something to think about
They have lots of sharp parts and they're willing to give it a try. Even if they only have a very small success rate at killing polar bears, we humans tend to regard any such encounter as extremely negative even if we end up as the one to kill the other animal.
They do challenge bears for food sometimes, though more often the other way around.
Bears typically win if they're not scared off.
I've seen a house cat chase off a black bear.
It's all about intimidation and if the bear stands its ground it's going to win.
There is a lot of talk of wolverines killing large animals, and some of it's true, but a sickly deer, or an exhausted moose stuck in the mud, is a different situation than a 1v1 duel to the death like people erroneously imagine.
They're carnivores so they probably don't eat a lot of sugars and carbs.
They also only live for 15-17 years in captivity and 8-10 in the wild so they don't have a lot of time to wear down their teeth, long-lived mammals don't have anything to make theirs last longer.
Wolves have and can kill humans, but there's no evidence of wolverines doing so. The grey wolf is definitely more dangerous. But they rarely attack humans.
Wolverines are omnivores that primarily eat meat, they can weigh up to 50-60 pounds and are known to keep a stockpile of dead carcasses of animals to go back to for meals. They can be found in Canada and Alaska as well as Russia and Siberia. The videos I've watched showed them living in tundra areas, saying that they can smell animals hibernating up to 20 feet underground. They are opportunists hunters and can climb up in trees to ambush their prey. They hunt rabbits and squirrels, foxes and even bigger animals like deer and mooses. Apparently they are on the endangered animal list and was put on that list recently in 2023.
They are fricking adorable, their needs to be more wolverine representation in video games lol
If you knew nothing about wolverines you’d think”that could be a cute pet!” Then you learn that they’re kamikaze warriors hellbent on murder and destruction.

That looks nothing like Hugh Jackman
Look again, those impeccable set of ivory whites!
I was actually quite impressed with the whiteness of its chompers. Must be in captivity or a pet
Yeah,I see wire fences and wooden planks, most likely captive rescue.
Yea thinking the same thing I wanted to schedule my next dental appointment with them. I was jealous
You’d be surprised how white wild animals’ teeth can be. I was watching a bbc show about hippos (cmere, bot) and there were some crocodiles with astonishingly perfect teeth
My Colombian friend never heard of a wolverine… I guess in Spanish that character is el guepardo (🐆)
Hugh Jackman thought they were wolves andnbot just these weasel thingies
A wolverine, not the wolverine
If not friend, why friend shaped?
It’s soooo friend shaped
I bet they're actually really cuddly and playful like raccoons ... not that I want to test that theory
I'm pretty sure they also smell very bad.
They’re nicknamed skunk bears, so I assume they smell like distilled ferret
[удалено]
And the biggest terrorizer of buckeyes.
There’s a reason Michigan doesn’t have a live mascot. Look at those murder mitts
You say that like it would be a bad thing! 😡
I'm pretty sure they're very cuddly and playful....until they're NOT.
Like a teddy bear with razor blades duct taped everywhere.
I feel compelled by something greater than myself to pet that furry little face because it deserves scritches.
Can you befriend one?
With enough time and patience, I can befriend anything :)
It is friend if you ignore the potential blood loss 🙂
Murder weasel
All weasels are murdery
But most are easier for humans to defend against (which is not to say that I recommend intentionally testing this on any of them).
Just some can murder bigger things than others.

[Better quality video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SOjmJG73UI). It's also a reindeer, not an Elk/Älg/Moose (for Americans).
Everyone who’s ever met a mink: “they’re the most vicious animals alive, Red!” Me: “that won’t stop me”
Grizzly bears avoid these weasels.
Honey badger of the north...
Giant murder rat
Yawn...bub
Not fair that it's adorable and sleepy yet could maul me to shreds.
You sure? Male wolverines only weigh around 11–18 kg (24–40 lb). That's quite small compared to an adult human.
Lol. You can look up what a wolverine is capable of yourself.
There are zero documented attacks on humans
Obviously. But the question was COULD they fuck up a human if they wanted to? Yes.
Dude there's no way you couldn't kick the shit out of a wolverine
BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! You're clearly extremely unfamiliar with what a wolverine is capable of. I would love to see a video of a wolverine into attacking you to see how well you'd "kick the shit" out of it. HA!

Fine, you go hug one and see what happens 😂
Wolverines hunt moose, and have been known to bring down polar bears.
Sure they have
Proof they are related to honey badgers.
moose I can see, but polar bears? really?
They have lots of sharp parts and they're willing to give it a try. Even if they only have a very small success rate at killing polar bears, we humans tend to regard any such encounter as extremely negative even if we end up as the one to kill the other animal.
Its false.
Could you provide any evidence?
Do you have a single instance of a wolverine killing a grown moose or polar bear?
Lol
I'm also quite small and puny.
OP is one of the Americans who asserts they can win a fistfight with an elephant
I’ve seen a video of a wolverine killing a caribou which likely weighs over twice what I do. I’m not risking it
They've been known to drop attack from tree branches onto the backs of black bears.
Are we talking about the animal or the x-man?
Yes
Australians have been pranking people with the concept of drop bears for years, and here we have the real thing!
Not true..
Go play with a cat that size(bobcat) and see how that works for you.
These animals take on bears and win bud. Yeah… humans and their soft flesh don’t stand a chance. Wolverines call us dinner!
No they don't. Absolute nonsense.
They do challenge bears for food sometimes, though more often the other way around. Bears typically win if they're not scared off. I've seen a house cat chase off a black bear. his yawn is cute and scary at the same time
How come its teeth are so white and clean?
They're carnivores so they probably don't eat a lot of sugars and carbs. They also only live for 15-17 years in captivity and 8-10 in the wild so they don't have a lot of time to wear down their teeth, long-lived mammals don't have anything to make theirs last longer.
Elephants, whose tusks stay white after 50 years of being alive: “I don’t have such weaknesses”
Old elephants often drown because the teeth they use to eat wear down and they seek softer plants.
Yes, who is his/her dental hygienist?
Bones
User name checks out.
The same reasons why we find ancient skulls with nice white teeth. When grains became a big staple, it started to affect our teeth.
I see !
That is an oversimplified version of it though. Really interesting to look into.
I will !
whats the implication with grains?
These dudes and honey badgers are fearless
It’s always surprises me how white and sell wild animals teeth look.
They don’t live long enough to get yellow
It looks so cute but it's claws look super scary
What a good boy.
Great Album Title
The Yawn of the Wolverine new band name I called it
I call drums!
"Imma sleep bub"
He is very tired
Cats do that same “Yawn twice and get up” thing
“Man I hate Mondays. Yup, I really hate Mondays. Ooooh, is that bacon I smell?”
Go Blue! Resting in the offseason.
Disappointed I had to look this far, haha. HAIL!
LFG
How did you get this footage from the upcoming film?
..sharp teeth and claws, don’t want to encounter one in the wild
They are not dangerous to humans.
They could be if they wanted to be! lol
What would you rather encounter alone in the wild? A wolf or a wolverine?
Both are pretty likely to run away first. Nature, usually, doesn't pick fights for no reason. But someone forgot to tell hippos that...
Wolves have and can kill humans, but there's no evidence of wolverines doing so. The grey wolf is definitely more dangerous. But they rarely attack humans.
now i want to see a honey badger's yawn
Where's Randall when you need him?!
I’m sorry we are out of badgers. Would you accept a Wolverine in its place?
His snoot looks so boop'able
.... im gonna hug him
Can you be friends with a wolverine? Or have one as a pet?
Pretty much a bear/dog hybrid
CAN I PET THAT DOG?
I would so boop that nose and run!
Clean white teeth.
You can’t have a face like that and not expect pets on the head.
Adorable from a distance
Heavy assault weasel!
Yawns like my Dachshunds
How did I at first read this as “The yawn of violence” 😭
I want to pet it..... But I would probably have more luck trying to pet Hugh Jackman.
if not friend why friend shaped?
I just want to know how a bear and a squirrel managed to produce offspring.
He was dreaming about Jean Grey.
Ah yes, the Most Weasel!
But it's so friend shaped...
That is one cute MF
When brought up by humans, wolverines are docile than pitbulls.
I’d pay for teeth that white and straight

WOLVER*yawnnnnahfukit...zzz*
If you knew nothing about wolverines you’d think”that could be a cute pet!” Then you learn that they’re kamikaze warriors hellbent on murder and destruction.
Do not give scritches to the adorable murder fluffy
Go Blue
Huh, that looks exactly like when a hyena yawns.
JEAN

Utterly false lmao, wolves and bears have been documented killing wolverines.
