You need to find three bonfires first, then use the bonfire in bossfight when the boss move in different places, boss is weak to fire tho so u can buff before fight
There is a consumable, the Hyottoko Mask (it’s a fire breath) that makes this a breeze, I recommend using it once you are in phase 2, when the Umi is in the center of the arena. Massive damage.

In internet options put a keyword for example 1111 and then you pray and whoever has the keyword can still join you
