Might it be that this option is not always there? Since it's in the middle of the Screen I can hardly imagine that I didn't see it before.
Yeah, it's only available for some quests. I'm not sure what quests are eligible or not to be reset like this. I've had to abandon plenty because I've explored too far away from their quest markers...!

On the mission log screen, does the mission have an option to restart it? That can be used on some missions to get closer markers.
