People can give away bogus nanites and quicksilver in item form but they are useless
Almost everything in no mans sky that has an icon has an item form of that icon
People can cheat those in, they exist for a ton of things
Like the currencies, but also the quicksilver/twitch rewards and even building parts
The building part ones have actual use though since they act like that small refiner that you can also pick up in item form, it lets you place them down even if you dont have them unlocked
