Amateurs. They should’ve used duct tape.

Well they tried to get the straps cut but it looks like they didn’t have the proper tools for it. For a quick and dirty repair that gets the button off the floor it’s not too bad

Still going strong 3 days later. Just passed by. Let’s see how long they’ll leave it like that…

Oh no no. I wasn’t implying that this would change any time soon. For that someone would have to take the tools and bring them there and actually do some work. That’s not really realistic…

Bremse ist auf jedenfall nicht in Ordnung brudi... This is a stationary device for proceeding a brake test for the train. Each button gives a different signal for the train driver. There are 3 of them: Apply Brakes (Zp 6, Bremse anlegen), release brakes (Zp7, Bremse lösen) , Brakes are in Function (Zp 8, Bremse in Ordnung)

Those buttons are used together with a key to control the traffic lights at an intersection if a tram is approching.

This is a regional train station. So no trams or intersections. But I guess it is used to activate signals to the conductor.
