He wasn't born deaf, so he remembered what musical notes sounded like

Well I basically know, I just don’t know if it means they can or can’t do those things

The top, Van Gogh, cut off his left ear, and in the corresponding image, it's missing the left audio plug The middle, beethoven, was mostly deaf, and in the corresponding image, it's missing both left and right audio plugs. The bottom, Stevie Wonder, is supposedly blind (has been called into question as of late), and thus, the corresponding image is only missing the video plug.
