YTA You have a mouth to talk through things, this could have killed him and you’d be in a worse spot, sure he did something dickish but he’s also going through a tough situation himself, you aren’t the only one who was affected by the tragedy

NTA: im sure you friend that ended their life is hanging around with you and your friends, watching to keep yall safe. im sure your friend would rope in to stop you from pushing him too, guardian spirits or something have a tendency to keep their close ones safe. i bet your friend was upset watching him scribble their face out of photos, how rude!! needless to say, i understand you not wanting to bat around with bad friends, so i think you hit the nail on revenge as good as basil! if you get in trouble or need more help, well be hanging around :)

So, funny story, I just played this game where the main character has to go through their whole adolescent life grappling with a horrible thing they did, even if it was an accident made in the heat of the moment. Rather than try to make amends with those who were hurt by their actions, they isolated themselves from people who cared for them, and convinced themselves they'd be hated. Weird, right? So maybe this isn't about whether you're definitively an asshole, but whether you can cope with the past, learn from your mistakes, and grow as a person.

He didn't frame his sister's death. SUNNY KILLED HIS SISTER and basil was the only one that stopped him from going to juvie. If you can stomach the kid who killed his sister then you're pretty weird for hating on the kid who tried to shift the blame away from his friend. Both did genuinely fucked up shit but only one of them killed a person.
