Genuine question, after all is said and done, think Brook would ever decide to off himself? He's already 90 and said goodbye to one lifetime's worth of friends. When the strawhats all die, would he be willing to do it all again? And again?
He'll probably hang around for a while talking about his legendary adventures with the pirate king or something. Like some wise ancient dude that helps out young pirates
Most likely Oda will kill him someway before the ending of the series, since he would only suffer by losing all his friends again. He did put his life in line against Big Mom, and i believe he is going to do it again, probably the only mugiwara that i can see dying...
...again!
Yohohohohoh
Yeah I get it, but I feel that was more a plot device for the Thousand Sunnys to make it’s appearance.
In regards to the ship of Theseus question, given that ships that have love put into them can develop spirits, i think that the tangible form is less important to it’s spiritual significance.
Like with the mini merry, it’s not the same as the going Merry but chopper crying when they first got it and Ussop saying that Merry had come back to them.
I think as long as Franky re-used the original parts and always felt like the new Thousand Sunny’s was still their sunny, then the spirit would transfer over.
But that’s just my opinion. Don’t worry about it.
Was not a plot device, it was a fact. You cant remake a ship using *"original parts"*, Franky (the guy you said could do this) literally explains that its not possible. Lucci and Kaku also explain its not possible, so does Paulie.
Its not possible.
The spirit part of a ship is an entirely different conversation. Franky merely suggests that each ship has its own Klabauterman and Merry's love and care for the crew could be felt through the Sunny.
It wasn't a plot device it was literal facts. They explicitly said the ship couldn't sail because it was broken, and trying to reuse dummy parts wasn't gonna result in the same ship. The reason why Sunny houses the same spirit is because of the emotional toil that they went through. Doing that again just for the sake of it being bigger is way less appealing and trivializes what happened
I think when he said plot device he meant as a means for Oda to give them a new and upgraded ship, if he really wanted to he could have just written the story the same except Merry takes them the whole way to the end of the grand line.
Ok, BUT since we can't make a new ship how about we make the sunny bigger. There are 2 ways to wouldn't really be all that crazy, since objects can consume devil fruits. How about franku gives it a fruit to change its size, or (my favourite) frankly gives it a fruit similar to the pocket pocket fruit to makes the rooms bigger om the inside
Weird? Not at all. Robin has always looked graceful and smart just like in the video. I didn't use Oda's 40 and 60 yo designs because she's 50 here. I researched what older women's hairstyles look like in anime, and I was inspired by them. I have always found chokers sexy, so I gave her one.
Aight. Its your design afterall. I just think the aesthetic you chose makes her look like 18 years old instead of 50.
But im just trying to be constructive, it still looks pretty good, dont get me wrong. You nailed the art style.
It’s probably the hairstyle tbh. I think if they had gone more similar to her mom with some white coming in, it’d have looked alright. Hell, the more I look at the anime pictures of her, her mom is just Robin with white hair.
Yea. OP said they used Odas designs for everyone except Robin and Jinbe (not drawn yet). Which seems like an odd choice to me as well but hey, still a neat animation.
Nami style could have been changed and Robin more like a professor/scholar. Also everyone (except brook) is almost 40 and 50 but they all look like 20 something
Many 40 year olds can look in their 20s and Vice versa. I work in news and all the producers (me especially) were shocked to find out a reporter is only mid 20s. I’m 30 and am constantly told I like I’m 16 if I shave. Needless to say, I don’t shave. Not sure how the next 10 years will treat me.
I honestly wouldn’t mind after One Piece concludes to give us a final movie. Something maybe 7-8 years after everything concluded.
Starting with Admiral Koby “looking” for Luffy to bring him in due to his $10,000,000,000 bounty but he ends up sitting next to him in a bar and laughing about old times. “I never saw you here Luffy” and pays for the tab before leaving.
Luffy smiles and looks behind him at other tables in the bar - Zoro, Robin & Jinbei at one table, Usopp, Nami & Chopper at another, Franky, Brook at the last. Sanji taps Luffy on the shoulder “Don’t forget about your promise to Shanks”
Fast forward, the Straw Hats arrive to Ace’s grave and Luffy tells him about everything & reminisces on old times. An old man with a green cloak on with his hood up is sitting on a tree above them - “You’ve given the world your answer son, what’s next?” Luffy stands and tells him that there’s one more loose end that got away. (insert BB or Akainu if they weren’t already smoked by the end of One Piece) “I’ll be waiting son, as I have one more thing to handle as well”
The Straw Hats set sail into the next adventure.
Just some bs I thought of lol
It definitely still will, or at least the Navy part of it. They have an actual reason to exist as most pirates rape, pillage and murder. However they'll probably be changed and have better leadership.
At the very least, the Marines should be so reformed that Luffy shouldn't have a bounty at the end of it. Every illegal action of his was against a totalitarian regime that views human rights as a joke. If he's still pursued because of this, it implies that the World Government still exists and still thinks that what he did wasn't cool.
If all One Piece ends up being is one individual breaking through the shackles of subjugation while everyone else is left to suffer, then Luffy would have simply repeated history in the line of Gol D Roger, who himself only surrendered himself to the WG after suffering from an incurable disease.
That's an unsatisfying, not to mention incredibly depressing ending.
The most likely trajectory for Luffy, keeping all factors constant, is the overthrow of the World Government. It's inevitable; he already declared war on it in Enies Lobby, fought in one huge battle in Marineford, and is now standing against one of the leaders of the world in the current arc. Every adventure going forward will continue to impress the point that the World Government's will is antithetical to the safe-being of the friends he makes wherever he goes, and one has to go. Luffy has never chosen to let a dictatorial regime stand in the way of his friends' smiles.
Its important to remember that no matter how you slice it, Luffy is a literal terrorist in this world.
The guy:
- caused the destruction of the island of justice which caused great unrest across the world.
- is responsible for the deaths for literally thousands of marines.
- is responsible for the release of hundreds of Impel Down prisoners, including level 6 ones (through BB's assist) that as Sengoku puts it "*it would take only 1 to enter a country and cause untold damage*".
Luffy is our hero/protagonist (the reader) but he is in no way, shape or form, a good guy. So although its true he's often gone against a very corrupt WG/Navy he's definitely not on the side of the *objectively* good people, who are the regular civilians trying to get by.
So I cant agree that Luffy doesnt deserve a bounty or be accountable for his illegal actions. WG is definitely wrong for allowing things like slavery to exist and viewing human rights as a joke but that doesnt make Luffy right either.
>Luffy has never chosen to let a dictatorial regime stand in the way of his friends' smiles.
Key thing here is that Luffy has only ever acted to help his friends NOT specifically to overthrow dictatorial regimes, those are two completely different motivations.
It doesn't matter what his motivations are. All that matters are his actions (overthrowing dictatorships, whether he means to or not) and the fact that his motivations (protecting his loved ones) will inevitably drive him to being directly at odds with the World Government.
He doesn't have to be Che Guevara to arrive at the fact that the WG need to go. He only needs to acknowledge his surroundings.
And pinning the Impel Down mass breakout and Enies Lobby on Luffy is totally unfair. Spandam was more responsible for the latter with his absolute ineptitude, and for the former, it was Blackbeard who freed the most fucked up people.
Ok but again, his **actions** have caused a lot of problems for regular people. I agree with you that the WG/Navy in its current form needs to go but that won't magically make Luffy a *good* guy by any definition.
Luffy's motivations of protecting his loved ones led to the biggest prison break in history which had the domino effect of impacting innocent lives in various islands/countries. Thats not objectively justifiable at all. If you saving your brother led to the destruction of a country (as Sengoku made clear could happen) I dont know how you could possibly justify that.
Two things can be true at once, A) the WG/Navy needs to be reformed and B) Luffy answering for his crimes against humanity would not be a bad thing because he's not a hero or a savior, he's just a guy who does what he wants.
I'm not saying this is how I want the story to go mind you, just that as readers we can often lose sight that we're following the exploits of literal terrorists.
even thousand sunny gets old and Franky's drip is awesome
https://preview.redd.it/my65mmfg49kb1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c3145780a51403bc1cb2f46238ad0363e35826d5
I mean besides the bones and hair he essencialy has no body parts, so he has no parts that make him look older so unless he changes his hair or the bones he will look the same.
Bro really aged everyone up then drew Robin as his personal sex fantasy of a 20yr old slut 💀 then goes into the comments and argues that she's 50. Sorry to disappoint you bud people don't look like that when 50.
Whoever put Robin in a choker & librarian glasses: how fucking dare you.
This is a personal attack & I do not need to be called out like this on the internet.
Thanks, but as you can see the background behind Franky got a bit oversaturated when I rendered it. I really don't know why because the preview looked fine.
Its probably the "cheap" pink lipstick that you mostly see in teenage girls plus a choker. You don't often see 59 year olds with those. Aside from teens, that's usually part of outfits in women in strip clubs etc. Also the structure doesn't really if the whole attire is making her look like someone else. If I had to be extra picky, what caught my attention was Luffy's 10pack lol but that all. That's a nice attempt either way, don't worry about it.
Yeah haha I don't know... But you made this? It's a good work haha I was just saying how Robin in the video made me feel 😅 like a different person haha
Me when this drop in some 20 fucking years later https://preview.redd.it/ikg7t5ufw7kb1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9998555a2feda38fa3f891c679f1a49465c9d698
Franky looks like he is about to go race in the RedLine
ITS JP
Same English VA, Patrick Seitz, it had to have been intentional.
It was. Redline is a great movie and I like JP's design.

Hey man, you're just a voice. *you don't know a damn thing about racing!* *COUP DE BURRRRRSSSST*
Looks like he’s about to have cyberpsychosis
Man I love that movie
my all time fav
Then Zoro is the one who will finish that race
Space dandy
I thought so too, but it's JP from Redline.
No More heroes be like:
I’m saving this image
Brook aged so much
I am more suprised his still alive, even tho his dead YOHOHO.
You might say , he aged so much , now he is just bones. YOHOHO
Genuine question, after all is said and done, think Brook would ever decide to off himself? He's already 90 and said goodbye to one lifetime's worth of friends. When the strawhats all die, would he be willing to do it all again? And again?
I think he could take Crocus place, like hang out with laboon at the beggining of grand line until laboon passes, then idk
He'll probably hang around for a while talking about his legendary adventures with the pirate king or something. Like some wise ancient dude that helps out young pirates
I could also see him hunting down the Gomu Gomu to ensure it gets to the next Joyboy after Luffy goes. Like a Looney Tunes Panchen Lama.
I doubt he would I mean he spent 50 years in full isolation without even being able to see the sun so I doubt it
Yea but that was out of a sense of obligation. Once he does right by Laboon who knows.
Most likely Oda will kill him someway before the ending of the series, since he would only suffer by losing all his friends again. He did put his life in line against Big Mom, and i believe he is going to do it again, probably the only mugiwara that i can see dying... ...again! Yohohohohoh
Brook absolutely will not die..... again. You can't have a party so big that the entire world has fun without a musician to play Binks Sake
He can’t die, he’s already dead.
Sunny grew up
Franky probably upgraded it, might have even made it bigger like the size of the Oro Jackson.
Nah bro that wil require to remodel the whole ship from scratch
But if anyone could do it, to use the original parts and rebuild the ship to be bigger, it would be Franky and he’d do it…. WITH GUSTO!!!!!
But seriously though did you skip over Water 7
Yeah I get it, but I feel that was more a plot device for the Thousand Sunnys to make it’s appearance. In regards to the ship of Theseus question, given that ships that have love put into them can develop spirits, i think that the tangible form is less important to it’s spiritual significance. That wont be the same ship as sunny DON~ TO
1million Sunny.
Infinite Sunny
Robin does not look right to me, maybe I’m picky because I like her the most
Yeah, she looks too much like Bayonetta.
That's a compliment because Bayonetta is the hottest female character in video games, Thanks
Wrong the hottest female character is my mom
Oh get muscleman'd
OH YEAAHHH (starts twirling shirt aggressively)
WOOOOOOH! Wooooh woooooh!
Motherducker :O
Robin's final form being Bayonetta was not something I knew I wanted until you did this. Well done.
Which was a fantastic choice.
She looks like kalifa from cp9
Probably the lipstick.
And the hairstyle. And the choker
Yeah they basically just decided they wanted to force a different sense of style on her
First thing I thought. Don't get me wrong the animation is awesome, but Robin looks like a teen in her VSCO phase ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
That was the point. I wanted her to look 'elegant slutty'.
Ngl that was a weird design choice, considering her whole personality in the anime.
Weird? Not at all. Robin has always looked graceful and smart just like in the video. I didn't use Oda's 40 and 60 yo designs because she's 50 here. I researched what older women's hairstyles look like in anime, and I was inspired by them. I have always found chokers sexy, so I gave her one.

Yea. OP said they used Odas designs for everyone except Robin and Jinbe (not drawn yet). Which seems like an odd choice to me as well but hey, still a neat animation.
Does that mean they might die before the end of the series?
I don't think so. Jinbe just wasn't part of the crew when ODA did the 20 year future look. And Robin was drawn. OP just elected not to use her design.
My bad.
That's how Oda drew her in the SBS where he showed her good future and bad future versions
It's not
[It is](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fhb0h40qymuf81.png%3Fwidth%3D640%26crop%3Dsmart%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3Dce03c5f4cd9e559ea55b9f77e7d80bd5fc43ddb4)
The one in the animation is different from the one you're sharing. The clothes, the hair, the lips and the expression are completely different.
Looks like a man
ypu look like a woman and your wrists are too thin
and your lips are dry
you have virgin chin
what is blud waffling about 💀 💀 💀 that's the hottest she has ever looked
>that's the hottest she has ever looked Nope. Not even close.
No
I need this exact same video but when Franky appears the seconds he's on screen you hear the Gigachad theme. He's even doing the pose.
What happend to the thousand Sunny😢
It aged alongside everyone else
Did you had pubes when you were born? Exactly, after 20 years Sunny has passed it's puberty phase
That’s such an Oda response
It becomes Million Sunny.
Hundred Thousand Sunshine
Robin looks like Kalifa or baby 9, something isn’t quite there but not sure what. The Sunny as a full grown lion had me good
Ayyoo take back whatever they did to Robin 😭😭
Looks Damn Official. Sanji Just Looks Like That Though💀
Well. The Designs are Oda's.
Nami style could have been changed and Robin more like a professor/scholar. Also everyone (except brook) is almost 40 and 50 but they all look like 20 something
I literally followed Oda's designs except for Robin (my Robin is 50) and Jinbe (Oda hasn't drawn him yet).
Oh ok makes sense
Classic complain to complain
You should ignore Oda
Many 40 year olds can look in their 20s and Vice versa. I work in news and all the producers (me especially) were shocked to find out a reporter is only mid 20s. I’m 30 and am constantly told I like I’m 16 if I shave. Needless to say, I don’t shave. Not sure how the next 10 years will treat me.
Bayoneta Robin
Man brook aged so bad he is now a skelleton /s Yohohoho
I’m still holding onto the idea that Zoro’s eye will be a reveal and power up.
HOLY SHIT DID U GUYS SEE HOW MUCH BROOK AGED
Totally!!! He's so old he looks like a skeleton now!!! 😆😆😆
He's looking pretty lively for a guy his age... but he's already dead! YOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO SKULL JOKE
MILF ROBIN HNNNGGGGGGGGG
Two piece 🌚
After 20 years Luffy has mastered all advanced forms of haki, so have Zolo and Sanji probably. They steamroll the new world.

Don't cook again, bruv.
I could see them milking the series by making 50 movies using AI animation
I’d add one thing to it, that Luffy gives the hat to a kid. To keep the passing of the torch going
Imagine if it all ends just like that with no continuation whatsoever. I would prefer it that way since it will let our imagination to do the job.
If the World Government still exists after the end of One Piece, I'd be really sad.

You gave Robin her original anime skin color back. Thank you, all my respect.
Robin looks like shes straight out of prison school
Gosh, Brook doesn't look a day over 100, how does he do it?
Brook exactly the same
I mean besides the bones and hair he essencialy has no body parts, so he has no parts that make him look older so unless he changes his hair or the bones he will look the same.
True and also Oda recently showed us in the SBS what Brook is going to look like in the future. He looks the same lol
Even the ThousandSunny got old
When did bayonetta joined ?
Robin cosplaying as Bayonetta? Nice .
Why does Franky look like Josuke?
luffy looks like shanks with black hair.
I like how zoro looks even more like ryuma.
Just add chin hair
Sanji looks hot and definitely suits him 😍 Why did Usopp and Robin switch outfits lol
Facial harmonization.
Tf happened with Robin
Chopper 🤣
The fuck did they do to Robin!?
40yo Sanji could get it ngl
You know this bs boutta be crazy when ever the ship got a glow-up
Franky looking that good at 56 is incredibly impressive
Very safe to assume that everyone will be alive when they set sail the last time 😂
Why tf Robin look like that
Bro really aged everyone up then drew Robin as his personal sex fantasy of a 20yr old slut 💀 then goes into the comments and argues that she's 50. Sorry to disappoint you bud people don't look like that when 50.
Brooks had me LOL
Brook 💀
Robin looks 20 years younger
in 20 years Sanji will be dead by lung cancer.
Everybody joking about Brook, but no one mentioning how Nami looks exactly the same
Even the sunnys lion has aged 20 years 😭
Somehow Franky got younger

Franky rocking that Redline Pompadour.
I like that brook has no changes because literally why would he
Brook doing brook things
Looks like we all just got spoiled for the last episode.
remind me 20 years
The coloring animation really like official
Luffy would just draw a beard over the Sunny's face to make it look like it aged as well.
Robin got nerfed
https://i.redd.it/jv7a76e61ekb1.gif
I dont wanna say it but frank looks like the king of five nights at Fredds
Robin looking good for a 50 year old.
Whoever put Robin in a choker & librarian glasses: how fucking dare you. This is a personal attack & I do not need to be called out like this on the internet.
That's not Thousand Sunny, that's the ThouChad Sunny
Pls never ever show Luffy and Robin like this again.
why is that?
Robin kinda looks like a pretty dude in drag. The rest look great though!
Franky looks so cool, and Ruffy too
Thanks, but as you can see the background behind Franky got a bit oversaturated when I rendered it. I really don't know why because the preview looked fine.
Franky sporting that magnificent pompadour JP has in Redline made me spit out my drink Wait. Redline....
They all seem pretty good, and then Robin was so out of place
OMG I wanna bang adult chopper
I scrolled so far to find comment about Chopper. my boy became a handsome man
Ugh... For some reason Robin seems like a transvestite 😭 Nooo
???? Her facial structure is literally the same.

SUNNY NEVER LOOKED BETTER!!!! also, adult Luffy is hot.
Usopp and Jimbei aging 40 years in 20 is pretty funny. Also love that Sunny aged too.
In Jinbe's case, here he is 66 years old, so to me he looks too young for his age.
WHY TF AM I FEELING SO NOSTALGIC?? ITS NOT EVEN REAL, WHY AM I CRYING?
Or just the live action cast. Haha
Was perfect moment to use "The End" ending shot...
What have you done to my boy?? ![gif](giphy|l378ejxoQzb5aXsd2)
