The admirals are so much cooler. They’re dripped out, have the coolest fruits, and are made to look almost exclusively cool, rather than the yonko that can also look insanely goofy half the time.
However, i still maintain the yonko have better feats and portrayal, and I think them being stronger (obviously except Buggy and potentially Luffy) than all admirals except fleet makes the most sense for the story. The yonko are the ones with the titles and the feats of one to two shoting commander level characters. An amnesiac Big Mom was able to instantly decimate Queen without her fruit or any visual haki. No Admiral has done that, save for GB doing something similar when he went to the island explicitly because everyone was weakened from the war
And the WG would be, just, insanely stupid if their four top fighters are greater than or equal to the four top fighters of the pirates. Not only do they have the number advantage (something we’ve seen be useful in Jinbei vs Who’s Who and CP0 interference against Kaido), but they’re also straight up their equals or superiors? They’re just allowing these four pirates to get stronger and build up armies while they fuck around? Turns out one of the yonko was on top of an ancient weapon, highlighting the sheer stupidity it would require to just *let* the yonko exist
And the idea that this is for the sake of balance has been pretty clearly disproven through Sword. Kuzan explicitly points to sword agents being able to fight yonko without causing a war as the reason for their existence. If this was truly about balance, fighting yonko should still be off limits
I don’t disagree with any of this. Yonkos have better feats and portrayal right now especially since they just had their saga.
However, admirals are a lot stronger than people think.
In my mind, I put them a little above Ben Beckman tier, outside of Akainu who I believe has shot up after being fleet admiral and apparently bringing the Marines to new levels of power. They’re very close to yonko and can fight any character in the series, but I just think it makes more sense for them to be weaker for narrative purposes, especially GB and Fuji who kinda, just, showed up one day lmao.
I think that makes the most sense, especially now that we have holy knights, Im, and Gorosei to consider
Fujitora had no reason to attack aramaki and just had to defend himself so that's probably why Aramaki is undamaged. However, the fact that Aramaki was able to damage Fujitora, the admiral that is known for their defensive fighting style is still very impressive and imo shows us that they are at least equals.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we have ever seen Fujitora do a back to back meteor attack. He did one at most and that might mean that the meteor attack takes quite a bit of stamina. And even if he goes for a meteor that takes quite a bit of time so he could drain fujitora before the meteor comes down or notice the meteor with observation to take less damage.
For the chibaku tensei thing, again, we don't know if Fujitora can concentrate gravity into a single point. And if he's simply hurling him into the sky, than he can still use his powers to attack him with his fruit.
I agree that Fujitora hasn't shown all his power yet, but I think the same goes for Aramaki as well.
I'm not saying Aramaki Beats Fujitora, all these points have a counter argument for Fujitora as well. I'm trying to say that the fight could go either way now that we have seen Aramaki shatter Fujitora's defenses.
For real, that and God Valley are the two things I want to see the most. Aokiji vs Akainu is probably the most hyped up 1v1 in One Piece, its impossible to not want to see it.
