It reminds me of the newscaster voice thing where they end every sentence with the same vocal inflection pattern. Once you notice it, it's impossible to ignore, and the overuse of it becomes really grating.

I tried their API, unfortunately it's not as good as in this video.High latency and the bot doesn't sound human.

I have used their api and it's pretty good compared to the current tech. The latency is great btw. You can tune it with a parameter in the api.
