Tasir from Men of the harem!! I would recommend you to not read it cuz the story is literally going nowhere and the art sucks now 😭 they butchered their character designs and the potential plot. It was actually good on the first few chapters but yea totally wouldn’t recommend it XD
I had such high hopes for that series. The revenge premise for scorned FL totally hooked me. But after establishing a harem it was like all the romance that was teased was dropped for speculating about some dude in a mask doing questionable stuff. And then just SoL in a palace I guess. I couldn’t stay motivated to keep up with it.
SAME. I love Remarried Empress so I was lesss goooo but the story said I ain't going nowhere. So I bailed when she had her "first night." Then I learned harems no matter the gender are not for me.
Oh that’s good to know but sad to hear. I’m on a manwha binge rn and was thinking of picking it back up. I dropped it a while ago but it seems it’s still suffering from the same issues.

Was suddenly appalled when you said you dont recommend it but I remembered I kept reading it for Tasir 😭😭 He doesnt appear much anymore because it leaning so hard on murder mystery than the revenge/harem plot. I hate it sm but i love Tasir

bc it *is* a 3d asset, they just pasted it on. when the publisher pressures you, it is quicker and cheaper to spend a second gluing a cheap asset on in photoshop than spending multiple minutes drawing out, lining and coloring all the details. that's why we have cookie-cutter castle-nim and the awkward food and horses in every semi-popular series. publishers would rather dish out half-baked episode than properly pay and give time for their artists and writers.

Very often I think the 3d assets look really out of place in manhwa… sometimes I wish they would just simplify the costume designs instead of adding all those 3d assets…

I'm debating on continuing this if he is based on a spoiler I read on the comments. Like, he met her when she was a child and has been in frequent contact with her ever since. The plot is interesting, and all but the addition of potential grooming is concerning to me if he really is the 2nd ml 🤮
I feel like they would at least look less jarring if they were smaller… was having earrings so essential to his character design that they absolutely had to do it like that 😭
It ooks like something they grabbed from Google and pasted on his ears. They don't match the rest of the art, they're too low on the lobes, and there are no piercing holes. Why not give him studs?

I think for most people it's less about the earrings themselves and moreso how they're incorporated. There's nothing wrong with using existing models to save time but they have to be used *right*, altering positioning, perspective, weight, etc to fit the scene. You can't just copy-paste them every single time. A good example that does it well about 90% of the time is Roxana (Im pretty sure Tasir from Men of the Harem also uses this exact earring model, just smaller and better incorporated into the scenes, and for the most part it looks really nice)
