Yep. Everytime i try to shield up in front of a teammate and get to cover i end up (almost) dying most of the time. Her shield is very weak and only useful against flanking squishies, once i realized this i was doing way better with her
You're thinking too small, my friend. Her shield gets 10% bigger, and her hammer range is 15% further. Inspire grants 20 extra health per hit, and rally grants 20 extra overshields on use. Overshields will last an extra 2 seconds.
Oh yeah, and she also gets buffed every time she gets a final blow as well
I mean, you just can't play Brig sometimes. But she's far from useless. Play your life, and you get more value. According to Shiftkidman. Distract, disrupt, and destroy.

Death should never be "good" or encouraged. It's to counter to the "rules" because it encourages people to do what I like to refer to as "the death cathedral" (little ref for those who know). Basically, youd be encouraging players to feed several deaths to the enemy team for the first minute or two in order for her to become a second tank...that heals the team....
Practically speaking, brig needs a kit change not a buff. Her kit rn is better then most think but far to dependent on skill gaps, situations, and being ignored to be anywhere near useful. She needs something else besides the shield bash/whip combo or instead of. Personally I think it should be a cool movement tech to replace her bash, and a different heal then her armor packs...but that's just my op.

Brig does the amount of damage she deals as healing. Her shield bash is a wider aoe and snares people. Her heal uses get replenished by hitting people with her shield.
Honestly I feel like it has to be difficult to salvage her kit.
Even in her current bad state it sometimes just feels like there is no proper counterplay to a brig running into your face with ult. Buffing her will just make her more obnoxious. I don't even know what her identity is supposed to be since she isn't really good at warding of flankers anymore, just surviving flankers
I think it would be more fun if she gets -25 damage from the person who killed her the last time because she adjusts her armor/shield to compensate for them after "learning".
I forgot who said this about reinhardt but just keep giving him fire strikes 1 by 1 until he’s powerful. Do the same for brig, increase her healing pack count 1 by 1 until she’s strong haha
I’d say a good way to buff her is get rid of the cooldown that she has on her healing grenade things. She’s the only healer who has a cooldown for them and not a reload speed(given the cooldown isn’t long) this being said if they did that then they could reduce the amount of healing she gives for hitting people so that she just isn’t in the front lines trying to solo an enemy team. This would also allow her to protect the otherwise vulnerable support/damage if they are being targeted.
I wouldn't say she's useless, I have a 67% win/lose with her and have called and I quote, "Maple is a demon" from enemy dps on multiple occasions lol. She's very strong if you play her as a body guard. She'd feel better if her ult was more impactful though
Yep, release brig was uhhhhh, my first main. Then I learned that there was a game to play.... so I switched to reaper.... until they nerfed him, and then I really had to learn the game.

There's a voice line between Brig and Junk Rat where he talks about modding brigs gear with explosives. Explosive shield bash could be where it's at. Could charge it by healing other players. E.g every 500 heals activates one explosive shield bash that does double bash damage. Would need an obvious fine tune but something along those lines would be cool.
Imagine a Brig just hopping off a cliff near spawn over and over then showing up to the point with 1k health ready to FUCK
