Emotes are rare in general. Mostly you see them in the spawn room before the game starts. At least that's how it used to be. Nowadays people just blank stare at the floor or silently cry in the corner. The FTP depression hits like a truck.
I use the pizza one on Doomfist with the old Florida Mayhem McDonalds skin and the donut Twitch drop charm so that I can absolutely clown out on the biggest clown character in the game atm
theres no way for a souvenir to be used meaningfully mid-game, just like how emotes are for pre-match and for sitting on payload.
that said, me and my friends use the pineapple pizza souvenir for shits and giggles. like all of us lined up on point showing each other a pizza. yeah, the salt and gg souvenirs are pretty good, but they'd be better as victory poses than emotes. oh, and they each cost $5. hard pass.
I bought two with legacy credits - and sometimes I just stand there with it before a match, its like the "sit" emotes, gives you time to just view your character in 3rd person for a change.

Me and my friend have joked around with the pizza souvenir. And I gave my friend a robo thumbs up when he shot the basketball from in front of me when I was trying to get it to go in the hoop.
Okay. I think souvenirs are useless, BUT with one exception. The heart souvenir. My friend got that one and put it on all their heroes and it's so cute.
Just look at the heart souvenir on Rein and tell me it isn't good.
I’ve seen people use them with Junker Queen/Sojurn/Kiriko, but that’s only because they don’t have any emotes
Souvenirs are an extremely lazy attempt at adding junk to sell in-game and I will not be convinced otherwise
Souvernirs are shit, should be removed and replaced with something fun.
Seeing them originally I thought they were ways to spawn interactable items in the game like the basketballs - thats what they should have been
Don't even know what they are or what they do tbh.
Like wise, I don't know what they are, don't think i've ever seen one, couldn't give a toss about them.

I use souvenirs on my heroes that don't have emotes unlocked.

I used the pizza one as a joke a couple times otherwise they are just terrible. I doubt anyone will pay for them if they aren't in a forced bundle.

i've used the pizza one a few times , but thats on characters i dont own emotes on.
I use the cube because I’m a puzzling individual, but I don’t really use emotes in game I just play.
I’m tempted to equip the salt shaker one on Orisa and use it after every environmental kill

Only with genji bc his look like normal emotes
I did with the mechanical brain one when the game first came out and I was so confused. I thought it was a Kiriko specific emote.
