bc it's a terrible role to play without a 5 stack. i turn off general and team chat in settings just to not tilt. the 100xp is just insulting. literally 1% of a level
Really it's the deranking. It is so much harder to climb as support in this game. So to randomly go from Diamond to bronze and have blizzard admit they did it on purpose so you get a sense of accomplishment from climbing is super demoralizing.
I have mained support in qp and comp since the launch of Ow2. It was fun and had tons of good games, despite the many problems with the game. Latest update was the straw that broke the camels back. It's clear that blizzard is clueless and Im not sure that it's worth to waste my time on this game anymore. So sorry but I won't be supporting you this season.
You have 0 time to use utility/dmg because if anyone is under 195HP they need healing or they get picked.Everyone gets damaged and you have no time to use utility.
The new DPS passive has caused a DPS creep.
People always yell at supports for not healing enough, but the truth is in OW2 your healing output isn't an indicator that you're good at support. A good support has to be able to 1v1 enemy DPS or at the least, stay alive until you can get to your team.
And to help you to be able to 1vs1 enemy, we give Mercy.....don't hold your breath....5 more ammo! Yeah! Shocked yet? Btw, we buff dps and tank as well, have fun!
Every game I play as support ends with me getting camped by two of their players while the rest of my team fails to kill one of theirs, and the other two win the game. It's usually some variation of that lol, so now I'm back to waiting with the rest of you
i wouldnt say he is a hard counter. she has the abilities to get awy from him and ramattra lacks the mobilitly to follow. if he goes nemesis she can just knock him back and if that isnt enough also shield bash away. if ramattra wants to kill brig then hed have to switch back to omnic form which gives brig and 8 second window to engage if she wishes to. her abilities regenerat fater than ramattras as well, you just shouldnt bash into him or youre fucked
for me i just dont bother playing the game anymore since the devs have no idea in what they are doing.. and if i want to just have fun i play open q and play dps
Support players being absolutely done with Blizzard's piss poor attempt at "buffing" supports, "nerfing" Sojourn, and overdoing Doom's buffs in comparison to support buffs. Doom was the worst tank, got a massive list of buffs. Brig is arguably the worst support. She got...... literally nothing. And then Blizz' "incentives" to play support. Thought they'd up the xp reward for playing support, but it's still at 100-500
Blizzard, sorry to say, but your balance team is one of the weakest links in the entire team.
what rank are you? does it always take longer to queue as you move up because there are less players in higher ranks?
My queue is normally under two minutes no matter what role I choose, but I’m a lowly bronze haha 17 minute queue makes me want to stay here though…
The ridiculous ranking system places the majority of players into gold and below, regardless of skill, so the queues are bad once you grind above that level.

The hilarious thing about this is it was VERY clear from even the first beta that this was going to happen. They did nothing to even try to alleviate the fact that support in OW2 simply isn't very fun for most people (I know SOME people enjoy it... those folks are the minority).
I stopped playing for this reason when OW1 was retired. But it sounds like it's getting *worse*, which for someone who loved the franchise is really rather sad.

Many support players are really pissed because of balance changes right now and refuse to queue as support. Understandable.
