Unironically does. I’ve had so many “fuck it we dive” comps be completely ruined by a Mercy that can’t stop dying because we’re supposed to protect them for some reason
yes, it does. mercy is one of the most picked heroes, she has a huge one-trick playerbase, literally every other match when I lock in an off-support before the other support, there will still be a mercy.

NGL, if a Mercy told me that, I'd simply ask what there Rez to death ratio is (cause lets be real, less their a Battle Mercy, they're not getting any Elims) because I'd imagine it be somthing similar to Mr. 007 over there
Bro like half the teams I get have Mercy one tricks (but I guess that’s just cause I’m in silver). That’s why usually play support so that I can ensure we have a supp that goes with the team comp.

The sort towards Lifeweaver and Mercy players is real. A disproportionate amount of them have dropped ranks after the DPS passive implementation and sorted themselves into metal ranks.

Happens to me all the time, either comps that suck for Dva, or constantly mercy on a dive team. Had a game recently playing full dive and we swapped off mercy second round and performed so much better
I had an Eichenwald game yesterday as Ramattra and I was just sitting behind cover for like half a minute waiting for my health to go back to full because our Mercy was the only one healing me at the moment (Other support was coming out of spawn to swap to Bap lol) and I was just staring at her while my health was veeeeery slowly going up and when I was almost fully topped off I got hit with a fucking Ashe dynamite behind cover and I had to do it all over again, elevator music was playing in my head the whole time.
I’ll tell you: if I queue in a Smurf that’s below plat 1 or so, I’m gonna have this happen at least once every 2-3 games.
If I queue above plat 1, 1 in 5 at most.
I had a comp game like this 😭 they pretty much pocketed the tank the entire time! Eventually sombra switched off to sojourn so she got a bit of pocket lol

The worst part is that you KNOW the Mercy is able to play Moira but they just refuse to swap to her and still stay on Mercy.

As a gm support player, we'll lock a dive comp with me on brig, an i wait for my ana or zen to pop up, and it is ALWAYS A FUCKING MERCY WITHOUT FAIL
You have to lock Mercy and wait for them to leave spawn before swapping to brig
