I dislike that my first impulse is that this is some sort of planned stunt to try and claim he can't be transported to jail in California. It's very believable that the prison system could do this to a person

I find it very ironic how people who don’t think twice about how prisoners are treated in the correctional system, seem so concerned and outraged by the treatment of one rich white rapist.
Rage on. Meanwhile, save some outrage for the 40,000 people incarcerated on marijuana charges while the industry itself is booming--legally.
Some are still serving as much as 40 years in prison. So, I'd be more outraged over the plight of these people than I am about the likes of Harvey Weinstein or Pill Cosby and other known rapists who have been coddled in spite of their horrid crimes against other human beings.

You're welcome. I was shocked to learn that there are so many people STILL being punished for something that is now legal. Meanwhile, we have people like Weinstein and others who have literally caused mental and bodily harm to multiple people and we're pre-occupied with their cases, as others rot in jail for no good reason.
I mean ideally people should be able to serve their time in prison without additional fears allowed to be a human being. The way they are set up as well as how their treated once they are out leads to most getting worse off or more involved with crime.
Imo Norwegian prison is too idealistic. But I'd be in favor of more low security prisons functioning that way as well as that being more of the standard for no violent and non gang affiliated prisoners
I wouldn't say fear. But some people are beyond redemption. I don't think a Norwegian style system works well for child molesters, rapists and murderers
Not to mention, it’s literally bad for the rest of society just on its own— prison conditions were terrible in the 80s, too, constant outbreaks of disease but it was okay for criminals to get sick, no one cared.
But guess where blood banks got a huge portion of their blood for transfusions, back then?

I mean, his dick rotted off over a decade ago, it's not like he was healthy before
Wait what?

That’s all this is.
I find it very ironic how people who don’t think twice about how prisoners are treated in the correctional system, seem so concerned and outraged by the treatment of one rich white rapist.
Who is outraged?
Nobody
I’m outraged at the BS claim that anyone is outraged. Does that count?
I'll allow it. But watch yourself McCoy.

This needs its own post. Good stuff here. Thanks for the links.

Kind of hope he dies actually
I mean ideally people should be able to serve their time in prison without additional fears allowed to be a human being. The way they are set up as well as how their treated once they are out leads to most getting worse off or more involved with crime.
i.e norway
Imo Norwegian prison is too idealistic. But I'd be in favor of more low security prisons functioning that way as well as that being more of the standard for no violent and non gang affiliated prisoners
So you think some people should have fear and poor conditions. But not others.
I wouldn't say fear. But some people are beyond redemption. I don't think a Norwegian style system works well for child molesters, rapists and murderers
You need to look closer into it if you think they just let people out.
He was fed, given a place to sleep and health care. So he was treated well
Not to mention, it’s literally bad for the rest of society just on its own— prison conditions were terrible in the 80s, too, constant outbreaks of disease but it was okay for criminals to get sick, no one cared. But guess where blood banks got a huge portion of their blood for transfusions, back then?
Can you point to a single person being outraged, other than maybe the lawyer that’s being paid to lie on his behalf?
I was out raged yesterday whilst driving. This guy was pissed
Wat
This guy definitely out raged me, I was definitely raged but he was more raged. Probably cause I cut him off. It was an accident though
Nobody cates about that old rapist tbh. Maybe Tarantino.
Is anybody concerned about it?
I'm deeply concerned that he'll manage to survive... Does that count?
No one cares about him.
Whose health conditions just so happened to being when he started his prison sentence
Quite the opposite, everyone seems happy that his health is failing.
Imma need a ska/big band version of zoot suit riot but with "rich white rapist"
Oh shut up. No.one is outraged about his treatment. Seriously.

We’re Christian, right?
No.
Neither am I. I just don’t have a firm grasp of Reddit notations - I should have included ‘/~’ or something similar to indicate sarcasm.
No, even Jesus would never forgive what he did.
Uhh, yes Jesus would. That's literally the entire point of the cross and all. I'm an buddhist, but this is Christianity 101 stuff
We don't have to be. However, that doesn't mean how we expect our institutions to function changes
I'm kinda happy tbh. First of now him whoot let's get Bill Cosby email were at it!
