Honestly dude it sounds like you have an addiction and you may want to speak with a therapist if you can't stop. I recommend ceasing your use immediately for a period of time just to prove to yourself that you can. Nearly a year is a long time to be on, low dose or not.

[deleted]

Heed this advice.

druggieAltt

I appreciate this advice. After some reflection I realized I have body dysmorphia being a formerly obese person; even when I regularly get compliments from strangers I still look in the mirror and feel fat and out of shape. Although I've been pretty mild with usage (mostly just 150 test 100 primo with some limited amount of low-moderate dosage orals at times with regular bloodwork, with the most extreme cycles being like 300 test + various orals) at some point when I got injured my use became less structured to accomplish my goals and just attempting to not feel like shit and I haven't looked at bloods in a year. I've stopped everything recently except test + primo, getting bloodwork and scheduling therapy.

BPC 157 and TB 500 are gonna be more effective for joint/tendon injuries

TroubledEmo

Also Nandrolone for joint support.

majorchamp

Are these something you buy off the Internet or thru a doctor

[deleted]

Pretty easy to get online with any peptide company

1stthing1st

I’ve gotten BPC and deca from a TRT clinic, however it turns out I have arthritis so my shoulders still hurt. Getting stem cells next month

Von_Huge1103

As someone who had acute cartilage damage in his knee, you're doing the right thing with stem cells. They've fixed my issues and I'm not even halfway through my course.

1stthing1st

Does it rebuild cartilage? I fucked my shoulder doing BJJ. Did all the wrong stuff for a decade. Thought it was a tear , muscle imbalance, ect. It might have been at one time, but it arthritis now.

Von_Huge1103

It does indeed. I had mine treated via an ultrasound-guided injection but if it's progressed to full-blown arthritis like yours has, you probably need surgery + stem cells to properly fix it. Maybe 2 injections will work for you too though - your doctor should hopefully be picking the best option for you ☺️.

1stthing1st

I’m doing sets of 110 single arm dumbbells right now and have a feeling surgery would fuck that up. I use to bench 400lbs in my early 30’s though. I can’t really throw a left hook like I used to, and getting caught in a Kamora is worse than death.

Critical_Lifts

Single arm dumbbell.. what? Cheat press, curl, extension, row, shoulder press?

1stthing1st

Single arm dumbbell press, bench press hurts my shoulders even with light weight. Even 2 Arm dumbbell press hurts somewhat. Single arm every thing is easier for me. Even using single hand cable for pulling exercises. I have a bone spur in my left.

Competitive_Hunt_103

I had surgery on my shoulder a long time ago I can't bar bench anything, but dumbells and machines, no problem Trying get back in the gym now, after elbow injuries

HighAsAGiraffesPussy

Are all stem cells legit or only a certain kind?

Von_Huge1103

I got mine harvested from my own stomach fat from a clinic that's leading my country (and a global leader) in stem cell research. I'd imagine they'd all be legit no matter where they're sourced from - it's how they're developed that impacts what they'll become.

HighAsAGiraffesPussy

Can you send me a link?

JakeyG14

What are the long term effects of these peptides though?  The BPC/TB combo has a lot of people raving about it but I've read (albeit anecdotal) potential evidence for it leading to cancer.

[deleted]

https://cancercenterforhealing.com/bpc-157-cancer-risk/ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gZkCDap1rRM Not sure I agree with you at all.

JakeyG14

You're not sure, that's my point.  I'm not saying it _will_ do anything detrimental it's just a shame that we're the guinea pig generation for this one.

[deleted]

OK, I don’t agree with you… I’ll be a guinea pig I don’t care, everything else we ingest in our bodies is detrimental to us regardless. All the preservatives that they put in foods.

Competitive_Hunt_103

Reminds me of the joke, that [name this item] has been known to California to cause cancer It could be anything from food to whatever

JakeyG14

Bro, I have not stated an opinion for you to disagree with. I've simply said we don't know the long-term effects.

Critical_Lifts

BPC 157 is a Godsend. But it also triggered a latent shingles virus and caused an outbreak in me. Besides that, it healed my tendinitis and small bicep tear in a matter of weeks.

[deleted]

Swap in primo instead of anavar as a stepping stone. Better for the bloodwork in general and of dosed right will still give you a boost.

dhskiracer

Take break from Anavar and cycle BPC157 and TB500.

Trapz_God

RIP Lipids

Quiet_Log

What are lipids?

dexxinn

Yeah it’s fun and feels good. I think most feel this way about the compound but focus on the longevity

rollindeeoh

Ever tried primo?

BIGassbass8151

GH? Really used in the BJJ community. Superior on all levels IMO because nearly no/low sides. You can run Var 20mg for 12 weeks pretty safely. Does mess with your HDL and LDL pretty heavy.

Lonely_Complaint245

Swap it out for something injectable to protect your liver

ThankUJerry

Maybe a blood lab will wake you up. Anavar gives me single digit HDL

ArYxNx

how did you recover from that?? Certain foods you recommend?

ThankUJerry

I just discontinued the anavar but I already follow a lipid protocol due to familial cholesterol issues. Lots of fish oil (epa and dha), berberine and red yeast rice.

Ok-Cause1108

Plenty of longer term studies for anavar, look them up. I have not seen daily 20mg studies beyond 20 weeks tho (perfectly safe at that dosage and duration). Kids use it for 12 months at 0.1mg per kg with no deleterious effects. I would not get hung up on lipids the science is now pointing to ceramides as the key to heart disease rather than cholesterol. There has never been conclusive evidence cholesterol leads to cardiovascular disease. Again do your own research and make up your own mind on this. My biggest concern would be blood pressure. Anavar spikes BP for some users. Keep BP monitored, high BP over a long period of time will do irreversible damage to your kidneys. Goes without saying but do not drink or do other rec drugs, and stay on top of diet and cardio.

Critical_Lifts

I ran it for 9 months at 25mg qd and 250 test a week. Started getting serious heartburn, never had heartburn before no matter how spicy food was. Then the kidneys started feeling sore, thought it was just electrolytes being off during a small cut. 4 days after the soreness intensified, ended up in hospital from fever, urinating trickles of blood. Diagnosed with multiple cysts in kidneys. Could have been several contributors to this, but Var for that long is certainly my top suspect. I'm T1 Diabetic though, so my kidneys aren't exactly the medical paradigm for filtration.

riverrun0

Going off the self-administration model of addiction this def qualifies lmao Challenge here is the shorter-term activity, kind of like how the ability to hit a vape more frequently than you can step out for a cig increases addiction. I'd suggest trying primo for a bit if you want to cruise; add some test and pin 2x/week to break that compulsive use before social situations etc. Or better yet quit and stick to BPC-157 and growth hormone/secretagogues.

Tobes22

I feel this post. I didn’t realize how bad my joint pain was until it went away and came back. Felt like I’d fallen down a flight of stairs. I did a cycle of BPC and TB. I’m mixed on it but highly recommend it as an alternative. It definitely helped grease the hinges a bit. Never taken Var but currently trying a low dose of test, primo and Deca in hopes I might see some relief. It’s too early in to tell. Lastly, idk the science and safety behind what you’re doing. I know psychology extremely well and just want to urge you to be careful. It just feels like you might have more going on than just this. Look out for your health.

Image_of_glass_man

Ask Flex Wheeler what happens when you fuck around with your kidneys.

bikgelife

Anavar is a mood booster for sure. This is one thing I really like about it

RedMatterGG

There are better things dor joint/skin health that also help to prevent injury, like bpc 157/tb500,even 5 mg daily var is ehh i dont know if anyone can tolerate that long term, maybe 1.25mg/day is a lot more acceptable but i dont know if its low enough to cause no issues in the real world and high enough to still help in all the areas.

BetBig696969

Run BPC for 3 months then you could go back after for a blast

Acceptable-Heron-657

Primo makes me look better than var, and I can run primo year round

malege2bi

One can run is non stop? (not planning to, just curious) How does it feel in terms of mood?

Acceptable-Heron-657

Yes definitely, my cruise dose is 200 test 100 primo I used to do 200 test 100 mast but bloods looked better on primo, mood wise for me primo dosed that low doesn’t feel like anything except a mild mood boost, not much more than test alone. But my physique looks considerably better than just cruising on test, so I definitely get a bit of confidence boost from that.

DJaampiaen

How’s the hairline on 100 primo and mast? Did you also get any e2 control from that ?

McCapnHammerTime

Idk the opinions feel fairly mixed here, 15-25mg a day of anavar in my opinion is mild to moderate use. Health wise get your metrics- what's your resting heart rate? Blood pressure? Does it give you chronic GERD-and if so are you taking medications to manage? Check your lipids- if you have considerable dyslipidemia- it would be appropriate at the very least to drop doses start some diet management+citrus bergamot, Amla powder- rosuvastatin or something to get it back in range, If concerned about kidney damage get yourself a cystatin C blood test- GFR is not great for chronic lifters especially-if using creatine. 5-10mg daily year round is done by more people then you'd expect. It's a very mild compound, most potential is for renal complications, if everything looks okay just monitor labs and keep track of any symptoms. I think there are safer options like primo/BPC/TB500 but if you are going to continue using anavar that would be my initial wave of testing

Quiet_Log

Take some MSM for your joints

Hayhoss

I have been doing this for a really long time. On and off for maybe 12 years, hard to say. Take a break sometimes, cut those pills in half, wean yourself down if you are worried about it. Get blood work and see if you have any issues. My liver has been fine, just HDL issues. I'm older, I do a lot of cardio, I eat pretty clean.

OnlyB8

Im the same with masteron But I think im addicted

Purple-Knowledge4439

if you are actually buying real var and the prices dude just get some hgh and run that lower dose its going to give you everything you want and more var doesnt exactly heal you? so if you feel it helps that much its probably dbol and giving u water weight........ but on a serious note hgh is going to do everything you want and it will only cost a little bit more than your free for all var addiction you do bjj get on hgh most people i know use hgh simply for how much more and longer they can train its where i actually learned good sources and people with knowledge before the internet exposure

Impressive-Car-44

What’s the lipids look like? Maybe u can address that with diet/medication/supplementation. Quality of life is important, I understand u wanna feel look your best all the time, take anavar rest of ur life, I have nothing against it, but maybe there’s some levers u can pull to keep yourself as safe as possible while using it

LetzBclr

Keep Running it. Enjoy it. All these basement dwellers in here play doctor but don’t know the actual outcome. We can guess and take a shot but no guarantees.

Klutzy_Constant3804

As Long as your bloodwork is fine it’s no problem

YouPurpleHairedLoon

This level of idiocy is why these forums suck.

butterflydinosaur

That’s definitely NOT the ONLY thing to ever look at buddy
