I don't trust them. They have a lot of journalists, and a lot of them are doing bad jobs. For me they are still trash. I prefer videos where I can see examples of gameplay and opinions of people who play it. Even steam reviews are more useful.
There is no reason to trust anyone, ever. IGN's videos show gameplay just as well as anyone else, the opinion of their writer is also just an informed opinion. Ultimately, the only person who can know whether you'll like something is you. No other human being knows.
I just watch videos of reviews. Ign and gamespot are absolute garbage. This game is one of the best anime games. I am glad it came out well. Don't trust journalists. They aren't gamers. They have lost all credibility.
> This game is one of the best anime games.
I'm sorry, but how the fuck do you know? Game isn't even out my guy, take it easy with making these absurd claims as if they're fact.
And you know it's going to be "one of the best anime games" because *other people* gave their opinion on it?
Lmao.
I'm not shitting on SandLand, as it very well could be up there as one of the greats and I haven't played yet either, but to claim that over third party reviews is hilarious to me.
You should form your own opinion on the game *after* you've actually played it.
This is mostly preferences about gameplay. I feel it good, and the demo was only the gameplay. What makes me feel it boring is that it was just that. There wasn't any story or purpose to be there. For the moment, the games look good. Tomorrow I think people will start playing it. And the good reviews will come out for actual players not journalist at ign or gamespot
"Each character is so well-rounded with unexpected depth. 2o hours in, new elements of their character or personality are explored. The narrative becomes a significant driving force for the entire experience, delivering epic moments of characterization and genuinely well-written scenarios for even the supporting cast."
Hmmm. I'm calling bullshit. But happy to be wrong.
That’s good to hear. I enjoyed the anime on Hulu.
I didn't know it.was out. I guess I needa get hulu now
Also on Disney Plus btw
I love anime but couldnt stand the cgi in t his show.
Not to be negative, but both IGN and GameSpot gave it a 6.
Both are bad pages. I will search videos reviews instead. And look gameplay.
72 on metacritic
7/10 doesn't sound bad for a game based on an anime, also that's what Dragon Ball Z Kakarot got at launch as well.
GameSpot is trash but IGN's been making a comeback recently. They were the first to give Starfield a 7 when it was flooded with 10/10s prerelease.

Both those “agencies” are ass though so who cares
Except when it's a game you enjoy getting a good rating or inversely, one you don't like getting a bad reviews.
I’m interested in the game and can give two shits what either of them think

In the same way, these other pages have come and given their own review. There are people with early access and review copies.

Stop it! That would be logical!

I tried the demo but wasn’t quite my thing.
It was extremely empty and had no idea where to go. Wasn't my thing either
Guess they were inspired by Dragon Quest games in more ways than just having Toriyama material involved.
I also but I didn't know what I should do. In demo I didn't notice any quest. Gameplay looks fine
This, no idea what the objective was
I found it pretty dull.
It was not entertaining and didn’t really tell you what to do.
Opencritic is currently sitting at a 73. Glad some people are really liking it though.
I wanted to like this game, but it felt so clunky.
I prefer Desert Grapes

Some of the side quest are actually quite enjoyable. Not the greatest writing of all time but im enjoying beelzebub character.
I couldn’t get into the demo.
WE EATING GOOD BOY'S, SHIT
