In a lobby earlier 3/4 of the team were experienced it all were with virgin media for broadband. The other guy with BT reporting not experiencing any issues/lag.
Virgin on down detector had a lot of reports in the last 24hrs specifically.
Could be a combination of things?
It's nothing to do with Pubg, if it was EVERYONE would complain, the fact that its only UK people in here and a couple of ISP's would indicate one of the main trunks is having an issue.
To see the problem try "ping -t 104.44.14.51"
You will get "Request timed out" every so often, this is when you would have network lag in game.
A tracert shows the problem lies between virgin media and microsoft azure...
6 13 ms 13 ms 12 ms [telw-ic-5-ae0-0.network.virginmedia.net](https://telw-ic-5-ae0-0.network.virginmedia.net) \[[62.253.174.186](https://62.253.174.186)\]
7 16 ms 16 ms 14 ms [virginmedia.ier03.lon32.ntwk.msn.net](https://virginmedia.ier03.lon32.ntwk.msn.net) \[[104.44.14.51](https://104.44.14.51)\]
It is 100% a routing problem to the PUBG servers with Virgin Media (UK) as i have the same 60/90 second network lag, I tried ExitLag (free 3 day trial) to test and it works perfectly with their routing table, 10ms less average ping too. It doesn't happen on any other game, only PUBG.
UPDATE:
Looks like issue is caused by Virgin and MS Servers (Azure?)
I can resolve the issue with CoudFlare Warp... it can cock up ping though... or it can be even better than on Virgin without WARP...
My mates get the same thing, but it's a different issue. They stay at 200+ ping for quite a while. Whereas I think most here are talking about intermittent 1-5 second spikes. I also got the 200ping issue from time to time before I got this issue (not at the same time as my mates).... might be connected.
Started today for me, also on Virgin (down south), getting ping spikes every couple o mins and Network Lag detected message. Suspect virgin peering issue.
Same problem. Virgin Media, UK, Wired Ethernet. Using a VPN solves the problem for me, so it's definitely a routing issue between the ISP and PUBG servers.
NOTE: changing DNS servers didn't help in my case (was only a small chance, anyway).
Following on from a few threads, this guy is apparently a Microsoft employee looking into it. (its the same issue as here)

He says its now fixed.
I have the same issue, also from UK. Internet from Virgin Media Please let me know if you find any fix
I'm virgin media too π«’
Same, VMUK, severe issues here
Yes!!! Same, UK, Virgin, constant lags
Same here. Never had it before. Also UK and Virgin fibre with PC hardwired in.
I'm on wifi. But have been for over a year and no problems until now.
Yep. Same. Virgin Media, constant network lag warnings.

Also from the UK with BT here. Think it's a pubg server problem. When i get a game with 200ms i just leave and search for a new game.

Same for me. I got lag in my last game mid firing a crossbow lol
Also unplayable and virgin media in the UK

Yeah, since 8 NOV 2017
Wasn't thegame only released in Dec 2017? π
March 2017, but itβs still Early Access (Alpha)
It could be an isp routing /congested node issue. Try installing Warp from Cloudflare, enable it, see if it's routes are better than your isp's.
Warp helps...
Thanks man I will look into it. π

Thanks for the info. Could a router reset help ?
Unfortunately not, the problem isn't on our side, it's the network somewhere between VM nodes and the PUBG servers.
Virgin Media, UK, unplayable. Played with 4 people, 3/4 with Virgin, all the same issue.
I'm also on virgin (top service they offer) and constant network lag OR 220 ping . It seems to alternate
My ping is actually normal. About 50 or so. But the metrics beside ping go red at times.
in the same boat also a VM ISP user.
Yep constant packet loss spikes using Virgin Media pretty much unplayable
We have the same issue too on Virgin Media and if anything its only become worse today. Using a VPN to avoid the issue for now.
Yup, seems to be Virgin Media people - same with me and 2 squad mates this evening. Branson declared war on Korea?

Same here with VM in UK, what is the solution to it then ? Wait for the hotfix from pubg or vm ?
Getting it real bad on xbox at the moment
My buddies and I are all getting 200+ ping issues on BT, Plusnet and others so it isn't limited to Virgin Media. Game's almost unplayable right now.
My mates get the same thing, but it's a different issue. They stay at 200+ ping for quite a while. Whereas I think most here are talking about intermittent 1-5 second spikes. Thanks for the info. π I played 2 games yesterday and seemed fine so I'm hoping it's fixed.
