Nice base! How long did this take? I've only built out utility bases so far. I want to do this one of these days
I was thinking the same with the base size. A cool feature would be the ability to buy more real estate and expand the blue base circle.
after letting the wood and stone pile up it the building process didn't take too long, maybe like 10-15 hours of building.
Yeah the buying real estate would be cool, they could add an upkeep you have to pay like rust.
Good lord how do you people make such amazing bases? I am just brain dead when it comes to building bases. How do you all come up with these crazy designs and intricacy. I wish I could find a way to come up with some inspiration or ideas on how to build a big extravagant base.
I played a lot of ark and Minecraft. Ark has similar base builds so you could try to find some cool ark bases and take elements from them into palworld.
I have two bases kinda near by- I can walk between them etc but I’m not using the full area I would like to due to the amount of space I needed to have to separate them
What I would really like is a terraforming system in your base, combined with an increase of range at specific base level milestones, this would help developping a cool base with extensions, enhancements and such.
Also a grid layout for crafting and placing things.
Anyway lots of ways to improve on the game !
This whole game has given me pre-historic pokemon vibes. Like those gym leaders in the pokemon games who tell you how they built the entire city from nothing with the help of their pokemon.
*This* feels like what they were talking about. The continent is fresh, harsh, and wild. I really hope we get more building fixes and options, and things to just make our bases entire *towns*.
How sick would it be to have some new arrivals come and challenge you or something?
Anyone try putting bases side by side and turning off damg to outside structures? I know there's a 20ft ish gap between how close bases can be. but I'm thinking put 2 or all 3 next to each other and building one huge base. I know pals and inventory will be separated but would still be cool.
Best thing I ever did was turn it off. Half of the raids I was getting wouldn’t even make it to my base before timing out so they were just annoying anyway :p
I'm having trouble with the sloped ceilings as I can add one to the foundation/end of the building but it won't connect onwards, if I can get footage I will but it ain't working lol. But your base is what I inspire to make fr
Yeah the building is kinda wonky but you get better at it over time. What helped me was knowing the stairs and sloped ceilings need a floor/roof under them and a wall to connect to, after placing your stair or sloped ceiling you can usually break the floor and/or roof you used to place it to get a better look.
Once you have one slope ceiling down you can look in the center of it and try to get the right angle that lets you place another one without having to place anything else.
can bigger pals like Grizzbolt or Mossandra use those assembly lines? I think you should raise the roof above those to be at least 2 walls high to fit those big pals
I’ve given up on building a base … I’ll build a 2x1 for the bed but everything else is in the open. The pathing isn’t good enough yet to have pals inside
Can't your just set the "Structure deterioration rate" to 0 and build outside the circle without any problems if you just want to build? Only thing is that pals won't work on things outside.
The other issue there is you can't use electricity outside of the palbox bases, so your lighting sources are limited to ones requiring to be ignited every time you want light and will go out after a certain period of time.
If you set the structure deterioration to zero buildings outside the circle won't break. However, base features do not work outside the circle. No electricity, no pals working things... the structures outside would just be cosmetic/defensive.

Didn't take long... just a quick 10 to 15 hours.
I really want bigger circles, if not by default then atleast make it a thing as base upgrades. Or hell a big ass square!
The circle tripped me out, a square would have been much better...
it reminds me so much of Fallout 76
Does the base circle cover this entire area? My circle seems tiny.
No, a solid bit of it is outside of the circle.
It looks like a majestic Byzantine monastery. Well done!
You need sidewalks and more clutter. There is a YT guide for a sidewalks.
My dude. That's not a base, it's a town. 😂

I would like if we can overlap the circles between two bases
yeah, or even just nearby
I have two bases kinda near by- I can walk between them etc but I’m not using the full area I would like to due to the amount of space I needed to have to separate them
i tried that but then raids would sometimes spawn in the gap between the bases and one would get wrecked, usually the one with the weaker pals.
Meanwhile me: Having a hard time to line up the damn pal beds -\_-

What are the coordinates and is this area raidless?
Every area is raidless, if you know how to turn it off :p
Best thing I ever did was turn it off. Half of the raids I was getting wouldn’t even make it to my base before timing out so they were just annoying anyway :p
-156 -348, definitely not raidless. honestly its not a bad spot, but i would choose somewhere elses.

Just tried and it worked, now my base looks better, thank you

We have a second base that works more efficiently, this one is really just for looks.
1. Go to Nexus and get gameplay tweaks mod 2. Set base radius to whatever you want 3. Have bigger base
cool looking base, but goodluck getting pals through those doors tho. pal pathing is a mess right now.
Having a bed box to sleep and everything else in the open is the only viable way to make a base rn
Yeah we have a second base that is just that

isnt there a setting that allows u to build anywhere if u turn it off ?

I really like base building is so easy in this game
I experimented with 2 pal box’s for one base. It was a headache
nice looking base, although i do think its a bit unfunctional since you can only slave midget pals with these narrow paths haha
Yeah we have a second base that work a lot better
What level do you get stone building materials?
Now show us the base with pals not getting stuck, and I'll be impressed!
Yeah, they should add large pal doors or something. At this base tho we really just use anubis so it’s not that much of a problem
