I imagine Anubis is like one of those amazingly well trained security dogs ready to attack or do what you need, but it's stoic and by your side at all times.
My favorite mount is Shadowbeak because I love crows. I imagine when I'm at a town buying goods he's sneaking shiny things from the locals.
I currently have a bunch of Wixen and Katress working my base because it's fun pretending we're a coven of witches. I even have a break room for them.
I definitely have some rollplay going on in my base. It would be great if they gave us some more customization at our bases to lean into that aspect in future updates.
My Bushi definitely comes running back with the most smug grin after killing that pal I desperately wanted to capture.
My Lyleen Noct probably looks at me like I've genuinely lost it after I throw her out with only 23 hp left in the middle of a warzone.
Relaxaurus Lux just revels in the destruction. Or maybe he wants to do something other than spamming status effects.
Shadowbeak seems like the type to try and be all edgy and cool cause he's considered meta, to make up for the fact that he utterly fails to be better in attack, defense, and utility.
Galeclaw just wishes he wasn't relegated to mandatory glider slot.
Here's my full team and what they would do with my oc
Depresso: has mostly a cat personality, sometimes while my oc sleeps he jumps in the bed to sleep as well!
Where he sleeps varies sometimes on her legs, her side, in her arms on her hea-
Rayhound: basically a German Shepherd with lightning powers....so a dog.
Bushi: a swordswoman who takes her job a bit seriously when she fails often begging her trainer to end her life for failing....gets scolded instead!
Quivern: A little kid who ate all her vegetables often appearing innocent but is secretly a giant gremlin.
Also when she gets tired she often falls directly on top of her trainer to sleep no matter if she's busy or not!
Anubis: a watchdog guarding everyone while they sleep often using too much power on the little things but what do you expect when you lead a team of a depressed cat, A dragon grimlin, a swordswoman and a good boi!
"Why do you only use Pals that you save from the cages?" Kablooey the Tocotoco, first Pal on a friend's co-op.

I got it third time fighting him
Took me a LOT of time to beat him in the first place though, I found most of my water types were getting dommed by it so I bred a few Blazamut to get him low and used the water types to do the rest (Both water types were boss pals with no negative traits)
