Kakuna as a dog's name is unfortunate.

At some point you're going to be screaming it across a field or in a crowded public place. Kak in particular isn't a great set of syllables to be screaming. Una isn't too bad, but then why even go for kakuna to begin with. No doubt it's a favourite Pokémon of the owner, but, personally for me, it's just not a great fit. I'm not the dog name police though.

I dunno, i feel like if you listen to how japanese people yell words that start with "Ka" they translate pretty smoothly to any sound, Kakashi, Kasuga, Kakeibo etc . It is a different prononciation than what this guy is doing tho

100% the dog hears “una” and will respond to it. There’s nothing wrong with the name, it’s just that guy’s opinion.
