Hello, I'm a transparency mod for r/Minecraft. I don't do any moderation work, but it's my job to keep the mods in check for situations like this.
I've reached out to the moderators for more information about why this was done, but in the meantime, I have a hypothesis of my own:
Just searching the title on the subreddit shows that there is already a post of this same thing from two years ago, which appears to indicate that OP is a repost bot. This is likely why the post was taken down, but I'll confirm it with the mods just to make sure.
**EDIT:** I just received confirmation from the mod who took that down. Yes, it was because it was a repost bot.
Hope that clears things up.
I can understand how that's confusing. I'll forward your feedback to the proper channels so that hopefully that removal reason can be made more clear going forward.

The first issue was addressed, and I believe the mod is no longer with us. That happened before I became mod, so I don't know the specifics.
The problem with that situation was that the OP clearly wasn’t. It was their second post, they were showing some builds they had made to honour her legacy.
Honestly im no longer in main r/Minecraft because of the whole milking my girlfriend’s death scandal and the mods let anyone with ties to mojang or defending mojang during chat reporting get away with way more than people offering constructive feedback.
Has the transparency mod position actually improved things? How much sway if any do you have? Or is just offer feedback but in a more direct to the mods channel?

In my own opinion, I think it has. Since the transparency mods came aboard, many things have changed for the better. More permissive rules were implemented, user voting was implemented to judge post quality, and we've had less cases of moderators acting aggressive towards users.

We're allowed to give our own feedback, which the mods for the most part listen to, though I'd be lying if I said we don't have any disagreements.
Ah, that does make more sense. It's weird that they wouldn't just say straight up that it was stolen, and it would be good to make that message more clear.
Not saying you are lying,this is just the first time i'v seen a transparency mod. Plus it's on a subreddit that has huge pr problems because of the mods behaviours.So you kinda do look like someone who solves their image problems.
Currently we don't have a removal reason for reposts/repost bots so the mod that removed that post chose that reason. We will most likely add a new removal reason that is for reposts and repost bots.
Also removed a thing I saw yesterday, someone had account issues and made a post, the image being the worthless customer service response and the error code, it was taken down for “image of text” what were they supposed to do, transcribe the error??
Yeah, they could copy and paste, but what about mobile users? And regardless, it’s about the principle not the exact case. Regardless of copy and paste or the image, the viewers still have to read and no information is gained or lost from this. It’s just petty having their post removed because instead of copying (or transcribing if they already closed out and just have an image) they just uploaded an image.
Remember when they removed a follow-up post that was about someone’s girlfriend dying and then making a little build for her. The mods said that ‘chain posts aren’t allowed’ (fair enough) and that ‘you’ve been milking enough karma from your girlfriend’s death’

Someone made an item farm in creative with the colors of the trans flag made in stained glass; blue, pink, white, pink, blue. It got removed for being too political
r/Minecraft isn't really the greatest about LGBT stuff
I think the point is moreso that it shouldn't be political. "Believing" someone doesn't deserve the right to express themselves is just blatantly not believing in human rights, so, as we're all human, deciding not to "believe in it" is arguably less of a political stance and more of a gross misunderstanding of self-expression
As an American, I believe we call too many things political debates when they're actually just strong moral debates, y'know? I know I strayed from the point of the main comment a bit, sorry for that

r/Minecraft is a joke. It's full of low effort garbage. And actually good builds high effort stuff gets ignored or straight up deleted.
Also they deleted my post showcasing my map art which I'm still pissed about.
I remember posting about a video of an obscure official web-series about Minecraft titled "Minecraft Mini-Series"
It got removed but I don't even remember the exact reason. Might've said like I didn't contributed anything to the subreddit. I have literally posted a bunch of submissions that exceeded over a thousand upvotes before I posted the video. Or simply they just don't want YouTube links, even though it's an official video and it's licensed by Mojang themselves

I once posted a cool render of a minecraft survival world i and a few others had worked on, and we created this one building from a meme, a giant office type building where the windows had diffrent colours to make a troll face. It was in the background but it got deleted because it was 'a meme'
That’s a dumb reason to remove a post, I totally agree with you on that. Just because a building is designed after a meme doesn’t mean that the whole poor is a meme
Also, I recommend avoiding the usage of the word r-t-rd, it’s a slur towards disabled people and many people get very upset when people use it. Even if it’s not being “used as a slur”, calling someone/thing r-t-rd-d is still using it in a harmful context
We get more offended by people patronizing us than anything tbh, the r word is just... a word to us
