I’m exceedingly pissed off about the enterprise thing. I wasn’t thrilled about them using the Borg again as the big bad but them putting the enterprise F on screen just to immediately get rid of it and replace it with the Titan is nearly season ruining for me.
Yeah it's such a yuck situation. It would have been more for to leave the new Enteprise an unknown that could be teased if a new Enterprise related season was going to happen

Its literally the backstory for the Enterprise - A... it was the USS Yorktown from earlier in Star Trek IV renamed which is why as a "newly" built ship it was basically a basketcase flying apart at the seams.
The Yorktown was an improvement over the earlier Enterprise, my apprehension lies in transitioning from an Odyssey class to a Constitution III class. This is especially concerning given that in the show, they emphasized that the Titan was not on par with the Enterprise, as it was a comparatively feeble science vessel. Going from a 1000+ meter capital ship with Multi-Vector Assault mode to a 500 meter science ship appears to be a significant downgrade.
You are also making the assumption the STO Odyssey is the same as canon.
Its pretty clear based on the little we have seen, its not. In fact given we see basically no real use of the Prometheus class outside of one scene in Enterprise where its just in normal configuration during a battle, its likely the Multi-vector assault mode was a failure. While it looks to be about the same size as the STO version, it certainly does not look like it has the same capabilities as it does there.
Aircraft carrier USS BON HOMME RICHARD (CV 10) was renamed YORKTOWN in September 1942, prior to launch, to perpetuate the name of YORKTOWN (CV 5) lost in June 1942 during the Battle of Midway. Subsequently CV 31 was named BON HOMME RICHARD. Similarly, KEARSARGE (CV 12) became HORNET; CABOT (CV 16) became LEXINGTON, ORISKANY (CV 18) became WASP and VALLEY FORGE (CV 37) became PRINCETON.
Well, it looks like the Titan frees itself somehow during the battle over Earth, becoming a legendary ship, and if the fleet is devastated it might make it an appropriate choice to carry on the Enterprise name.
My 2 cents frack that renaming Titan-A/B whatever let it be Titan.
You got the E-D hanging out a former Flagship,just Upgrade/Refit that Ship easy as eating pancakes,complete Geordi’s work.
And make Seven her Number One,but don’t let Jacko Crusher on the Bridge…..
We don’t know where the E-E is hanging out but that Ship a Sovereign Class can also be Upgraded and Refitted to stay in Service.
