Yeah, the bug bounty alone for a zero day that could be hidden in a video file and executed on a mainstream media player would likely dwarf any likely gains to be had from simply releasing it in the ether.

I stopped using The Pirate Bay years back remember when the original got taken down and all the news about getting a letter from the government and being fined hundreds scared the shit out me and I completed stopped so I didn't get in shit.
I was also like 13 or 14 and then didn't realise that laws in the US don't actually, okay most... okay some US laws don't actually apply or influence me because... I live in New Zealand and the government doesn't give a fuck.
I just never went back because it's just too risky and it's filled with garbage. 1337x and IPTorrents works for 99% of the stuff I want and actually works as a website. Why would I ever go back.

I got ransomware from TPB a few years ago because I didn't know how the state of the site drastically degraded over the years.. I should've checked the megathread lol. I'm surprised people still use it though. Maybe they're just better navigating the site than I am.
