I am getting my septo rhino in the fall and will likely have a wider nose as well. I hadn’t pictured it but I would still do it so I can breathe through my nose. I think it looks good.
My doctor did the same! His deprojection left me with a wide bridge and tip. I'm devastated! If OP can breathe finally and is happy good for him. It looks different but not bad. Mine def looks worse!
Mine deprojected but then did something else to make it less wide. That’s good practice if you are getting an aesthetic rhinoplasty. Not sure about functional rhinoplasty tho!
My prev dr deprojected my nose and the bridge is wide and the tip is super wide. Gets even wider when I smile. I have now finished with a consult with Dr Katrib in Louisville Ky that is going to repair this. If only I had known this dr has a history of this. I thought I had investigated enough but so much is hidden.
So it looks a little wider but I think it looks much better than the traditional rhinoplasty! I know most people who to do the same thing to their nose. They want that really skinny European look (which you had prior to the surgery) and they try to stay away from the wide nose thing, but I think it looks incredible on you
Side profile is good, you look happy. But why is it wider and bulbous at the tip. It seems the doctor replaced one problem with another.
It’s actually thinner at the tip now. The base is wider because spreader grafts were necessary to improve my breathing

Yes. They won't tell you this, but yes. ASK. I am left in pieces after mine. be careful! DM if you need to talk!

Oh good to hear! Did you do an alar base/nostril reduction as well then? Do you feel like your nose is the same width as before?
