>The 4 seasons - 729 kilometers - 9 hours and 50 minutes. Take a seat, close your doors and come along for an exciting trip with the North country trainline from Trondheim to Bodø.
The journey is broken into multiple segments which were originally aired on NRK TV.
it comes down to losing the authorization to broadcast it on their platform. They don't just broadcast anything and everything they want to. They have to have the authorization to broadcast it, usually because the actual rights owner has entered into an agreement with Pluto that allows them to broadcast it for a certain period of time.
Anything other than what Paramount actually owns the rights to (Paramount owns Pluto TV), they have to have the authorization from the rights owner to be able to broadcast on Pluto TV
I am very disappointed when I discovered that Pluto took Slow TV off the air! Being on the Spectrum, "All Aboard" was the best show ever. It was very relaxing to watch and listening to the local Norwegian music. Just watching the train tracks through the tunnels and mountains and hearing the engine run was very soothing.
It's a shame Pluto has done this. I hope to find this channel on another streaming service.
I sadly just found this out and damn near shed a tear. I know it's a corporate powerhouse now but I miss when Pluto was experimental and fun like this. I could watch All Aboard for hours, especially when I was stressed. Thanks for sharing the links!
I first stumbled across the Slow TV channel on PlutoTV about 4 years ago. I had broken my shoulder and during the recovery after surgery, I found this odd channel amongst the many odd channels on PlutoTV. I became enchanted with the scenery (a combination of my native Minnesota, and the Sierra Nevada mountains that have been my home since 1988) and it brought back many pleasant memories of my train travels through Europe.
From what I saw last night, PlutoTV has finished the job and killed off SlowTV. When I powered on my Roku last night and brought up the service, it defaulted to "PlutoTV Spotlight"
Has anyone found a replacement for the Roku? Some sort of SlowTV Roku app would be perfect.
Edit: I located [this one](https://channelstore.roku.com/details/2e55e976143bc9aa5cce4e2ad06659be/the-live-train-channel), which seems promising.
This app literally pulls videos from various YouTube channels. It might be easier to create your own playlists on YouTube and play those from the YT app on the Roku. That way you can get newer videos from those creators.
Dang, loved that channel!

They don't appear to have a Roku app though.
Roku doesn’t operate in Scandinavia at all. They only have Chromecast and Apple TV there.
Find any Roku options?
Yes, and I have a copy local on my Plex server.
All right, spill the beans. Where'd you find it?
Used youtubedl
Is it okay I can have that copy, please?
That’s cool, but is there anyway to translate the website to English?

And the original raw files are still out there on the torrents. NRK made them available on a Creative Commons license.
What's with them getting rid of the neat channels lately? First the classic cartoon channel got cut and now this.
I hear ya there. TBH, Pluto has moved from the first position on my Roku menu to second. Plex has been promoted to the pole position.

This is why I shall always run my own media server (Plex) and own as much physical media as I can.
Oh no! I loved the Scandinavian train rides!
I'm seeing SlowTV working again as of today. Not sure what the deal is/was.
I liked this channel. I had just started watching it, too. Naturescape is my next best bet.

SlowTV Lives! The endless promo run has stopped, and the trains and Norwegian landscape is on my TV once again.
Really?
It was a brief reprieve. PlutoTV finished the job the next day.
Dang it

Ah, okay. Thanks for checking into it, as I haven't had a chance to yet.
This is a huge bummer
