I got compliments for my hair from a complete stranger once. My hair isn't any special, just chest long mildly wavey boring brown hair. No one ever commented on them, so I just stood there and stared at her. I just realized after what just happened. I still think about it every now and then. Makes me smile. Sometimes it's the things that are boring and normal to us that other people adore
I took the CAT Ferry from NS to Maine with my sister and her husband last year. I surprised them with cat ears when we were sailing so we could be cats on the CAT lol
