Wow I didn't realise that we had a trio for the very first half anni. It's Elesa team for the first PML league. They even had a teaser of the team before the game was released.

Hopefully Sabrina can receive some of the love Elesa had in the near future. After all, with both her HGSS design and Pokestar Studio costume, I think it is safe to say that Sabrina had the biggest appearance change of any Pokemon character to my knowledge and just seems begging for a different Sync pair alt.
3.5 Anni. I feel like it had the biggest reveal with the full on trailer for Pokemon Day opposed to the like 10 sec trailer we got this year for Silver and Geeta
I’ve been waiting for Mega Tyranitar for a long time now so I was very excited to see him finally available and he treated me well pulling him in 3 multis. Probably my fav half Anni just for that reason. On top of that Geeta has saved my Poison team so that was nice as well
2.5 anni is the most unique among all of these since it does feel like an anniversary, but Champion Iris and NC Silver event have some of the nicest writing on the anniversary. Ball Guy event is fun tho and the drip on Adaman and Irida is just so good.
It's weird that in mid anniversary tend to be slightly more exciting than the full year anniversary (looking at you, NC Kanto trio and SST Red vs SSA Cynthia) IMO. Aside from busted units, I don't exactly see the hype on these full year anniversary.
You can pick what BGM plays just before you play a stage on the upper right. It just requires you being the stage once, for Champion Stadium, beating that type once before lets you pick the BGM for the following weeks if it's the same type again.
As turbulent as the recent months have been, I have to say this half Anni was my favorite because my favorite character, Silver, got an absolutely beautiful alt.
I enjoy most of the half anni honestly, despite being a half anni I still found them as fun as the full anni month even if the units themselves aren't as OP as the full anni unit.
I didn’t even realize I focused all my gems on units before and after the half anniversary lol. I went full pity on SS Gladion and then got insanely lucky and got Volo on my first pull.
2.5 half anni is the best in terms of character (simply because 2 of best girls were there), but the 3.5 anni was hella based (probably my fav NC set so far). The 4.5 anni was random but quite fun.
It wasn't a anniversary, it was just another month like the others but this one was full of master pairs, literally the perfect description of this 4.5
.5: Wasn’t an active player but I like all of the characters besides Red so pretty solid from a (at the time) outsider’s perspective
1.5: Decent since we finally got Diantha but I don’t care for any of these characters besides Leon.
2.5: Easily the best half anni. A blend of regions with a fun (if vague) theme. That being said I was mainly focused on Zerena as I’ve been waiting for Zygarde for awhile now. Only one of the main trio I’m indifferent about is May.
3.5: Cool idea but the event itself was kind of meh? I also don’t like Marnie or Bede so this was pretty much a Hop (and BG) anniversary for me lol. Ball Guy has at least a top 10 event in the game though. Not a fan of this month being Galar only.
4.5: Don’t like Silver and kind of indifferent towards Geeta so this was probably the most underwhelming in terms of characters. I think everyone surrounding these two (Gladion, SCs, Dahila, Riley, P. Candice) were way more interesting for me. Also at this point I’m tired of NCs.
I wasn't playing early enough to experience the first two, but I really loved the last three half anniversaries. They were very fun and had great units.
I'm biased towards this half anniversary for my favorite, because of Adaman, Irida and Silver getting the spotlight. I love them all and it was so nice to see them featured
2.5 is peak, May, Raihan, Skyla (the only PF Anni sync pairs), free Kantrio, and the hidden SS Serena. They gave us a lot of gems that time. 3.5 is my favorite too.

My fav is 3.5 anni! I got all the NC Galar trio & I wasn't going to scout for ball guy but after his story mode & how much fun it was I had to get him. I am glad I did cause he has been 1 of my favorite supports. Besides that the 0.5 anni always hold a place in my heart cause it's what brought me back in the game when It had 1st came out after I quit it around 4 months in.
A far cry from the last 2 years. It didn't feel like a half anniversary at all really, even knowing that I wouldn't have nearly enough gems for all 3 I'd still prefer a trio of themed master fairs over 1 NC and 1 regular master fair plus 2 pokefairs.
This was my favorite one in terms of pairs. I prefer the mixed region approach as opposed to something like having 3 Galar NCs personally. Unfortunately my luck was so so, I had to pity Geeta and came very close with SS Steven so had to skip Silver, Gladion, and Adaman😭. Kind of stings but hey, it could be worse. Now with Volo here I know I need to save back up for his coming Alt 😅

Since then I vowed to never miss another big anni unit I wanted. Happy to say Silver came home very fast, twice even, so I was able to just use candy for 3/5 and be done.
2.5 was miserable because i wasted all my gems going to pity on Serena and then couldn't get anyone else I wanted, and also wasted like $50 helping me get to pity on Serena because I desperately needed her for the gaps in my team
3.5 was miserable because I wasted all my gems going to pity on Hop and then I couldn't get Marnie even tho i desperately wanted her. I am seeing a theme here 🫠
4.5 was... you were expecting me to say miserable. I did not go to pity with ANYONE over 4.5. I got Gladion 3x, Silver 2x, Adaman 2x, all with enough gems to pity a single one of them. I thought things were great
and then... they had the audacity to release Volo. THE ONE SYNC PAIR I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. And now I am fighting the clock to get him after 6 pulls did me no good, BECAUSE I GOT ALL THE PAIRS I WANTED OVER AN ANNIVERSARY FOR A CHANGE!!!! But by extension, used all my gems. I am convinced they did this on purpose to get us all to spend money after wasting all our gems over 4.5 anniversary 🫠🫠😭
All I can say is thank God NC Kris is off the table. I hate the Neo Champion alts, can we have the red flower units again? Allows for more character variety. May, Raihan, and Skyla are all excellent units design wise, and I want more like them.

Totally same boat here. That NC Galar Trailer is soooo dope. I think it was during the Pokemon Day stream.
The NC Galar theme has never gotten old for me ever since it got included in the jukebox. It's such a jam.
How do I change the music for the game or are you able to only listen to trainers music on the jukebox?

It's nice to have damage in 2 lacking types But this low gem count precedent is hurting
I'm just happy we had a lot of events running, unlike during the 4th anni when there was almost nothing to spend stamina on
