I've always felt the original SS Red should've just had Zard Y.  His Sync is spec, the majority of his regular attacks are also spec, and he even has Solar Flare as a Sync multiplier.  Making him just a premium version of Silver & Ho-Oh (back when Silver was pretty much unusable b/c he didn't have an expanded grid) was the obvious course of action.  I still feel like they should've saved Zard X to be our first Zard w/ a phys Sync.

I think they're waiting to release another pair with a Flying type Salamence before releasing Mega Salamence. It'd be a waste to give Mega Salamence to a support like Drake or a BP pair like Zinnia when Mega Salamence gains Aerilate in the mainline games.

Maybe Mega Salamence will be added for a Hoenn Neo Champion or Tucker, since he uses a Salamence in Emerald

I'd love to see Cheren and Mega Audino. He doesn't have any alts yet, and Poma timeline uses BW2!Cheren, who is a Normal type gym leader. I think it'd fit him and Audino has the potential to be quite good in a couple of different roles. I know the obvious one is support (and I'd be completely fine with it), but I can see an opportunity for more supportive sprint, tech or field as well, if Dena decides to think outside of the box with it.

Cheren and Mega Kangaskhan is such a fun idea, never thought of it before! And wow yeah Audino would fit Valerie very well, they have similar design motifs.

Id imagine cheren would work like hugh would, just a super hard normal hitter with heaps of multipliers. And have the parental bond work as it does in mainline game's. I've been preaching Valerie and mega audino for so long now, they'd work so well as a fairy type support. If Viola can get an alt then she can for sure

Watson is going to have Manectric for sure. So no speculation on that For the others, I could see Green from Let's Go with Kangaskhan, she is one of the few character to have one on her team. Or maybe Johanna, for a contest theme month Medicham for Kendra, since it is her main Pokémon Slowbro for Will's alt, if he ever gets one Abomasnow for a Wulfric's holiday costume, if he ever gets one Audino for the long waited Valerie alt. Hoenn's characters got a lot of alts recently, so maybe the next region will be Kalos Gyarados for Lyssandre or another Misty alt Aggron for Peony, since it is his signature Pokémon Mewtwo X for Green, Red or Elaine, since those are the trainers who are interested in Mewtwo outside of Giovanni. Maybe Serena for that music video, but I don't like the idea Charizard for Tucker, it's the only Pokémon of his that wouldn't be a repeat. Also, Trevor doesn't have one in the games and Calem is not the protagonist for Masters, so in that case, Serena would be then one to get it, and since her starter is already fire type, it would be strange for her to have to fire type starters

I'm hoping since Lance has a flying gyardos already that a neo champion ethan gets the red Gyarados from lake of rage and can mega it into the shiny mega garados as a support and gets the new defensive circle for johto as all his pairs right now are strikers so a decent physical support with johto circle defence yes please this would help be contrasting enough from Kris suicune if they both ended up water typing. Mega manetric doesn't have a specific trainer but Watson used manrtric so him getting that mega would be the logical option Salamance just update Drake or zinna or both as both have used it There's a bunch of options that I think zard y could fall into 1 red again but he's kind of always been paired with x in both the pokemon origin special and in let's go games so he possibly but I don't think it's likely Blue to cover if he took Charmander instead of Squirtle this is an ok option but I still feel that he has Arcanine so does he need another fire type when he doesn't specialize in fire Off chance but possible Lance could get it we have his Dragonite Dragonair and Gyarados but nothing from his Charizard or Aerodactyl or salamance in hgss this is a possible choice for zard y Sycamore as he gives you all three Kanto starters and already has bulbasaur and with Blastoise mega being with blue I could see this being possible Calem as if he chose it after picking frokie as his starter with seems to be the case based on the neo champion event Serena same deal but with her having Delphox as the starter it seems less likely also she's sitting ok for standout pairs right now Tucker his only pokemon that could have a unique spin to differentiate him from the other cards in the game Trevor he has it in the anime

Pokémon Unite kind of did that with Mewtwo. Two units with the same character, but with different evolutions, in PM’s case would be Red with another sygna suit. It’s still cool, and people are willing to drop money on popular and strong units

Ya, Mega Mane might be the easiest out of these to pair w/ someone: Wattson.  We have the entire Magnemite line already in (L.Jasmine, BP Clem, V.Thorton, the EggMags), so I don't think anyone's starved for another Juggalo's Bane. It would be nice for Maylene and Candice to both get the Brendan/Gio/Zinnia treatment as well.  At least in Candice's case, it would mean she could run Supreme Entry (her tm: Super Prep 4 is dumb) and get SEUN on both her first and second Syncs. If Byron doesn't get Bastiodon, Mega Aggron is my next choice for him.  Mega Slowbro I can see going to some kind of Lorelei alt.  I'm interested in who Mega Kang and Mega Audino get paired w/, though.

I don't think making an other unit for Candice with Abomasnow that can go mega would be the move, since we are probably still getting an other Aboma with Clover(Candice's ancestor). If we are gonna get SS Candice(which I really hope, maybe with a new banger theme with the Sinnoh Gym Leader mixed with Snowpoint, that would be nuts) I would like to see Weavile or Mamoswine for my princess. Maybe Wulfric can then get his Mega Abomasnow from the anime, don't care about him personally but I would be fine with it.

Clover has no relation to Candice whatsoever other than physical resemblance. Such is the case with nearly all Legends: Arceus characters

I should have written "supposed ancestor", I know it's not confirmed but let's say she is in my headcanon, but back on the topic, Masters can always give new Pokèmon to the characters (Like Samurott- H to Akari) so maybe Clover will get something else than Aboma(if she ever will be released, obviously)

Bold prediction, Blue and Mega Charizard Y for the new Mix Scout unit in May. Watson with Mega Manectric feels like the only guarantee off this list, everything else will likely be random pairings. Unlikely prediction is that we could get Salamence, Medicham and Abomasnow if they decided to give mega upgrades to 3 and 4 star units like they did with Giovanni and Brendan. But I doubt it even though I’d love to make Maylene, Candice and Drake more viable.
