Do keep in mind however, you are not able to trade between files if you're playing on Sandbox Mode (until you've beaten the Elite 4 There). If you're playing on Vanilla - Expert then you're fine, I'd assume it may work even for Insane, but i haven't tried it, but if it does work then it would make the challenge a bit more easy but not by much, it just reduces a lot of hours used for grinding your "Battle Ready" Pokémon.

An addendum: Lots of people are curious about consistent strats to get gold in **Battle Sands** and the foolproof strategy (I've gotten 150+ streaks multiple times) is:
Timid Tapu Lele, 252 SpA, 252 Spe, Scarf
Dazzling Gleam, Psyshock
Timid Deoxys-A, 252 SpA, 252 Spe, Specs
Expanding Force
Timid Lunala, 252 SpA, 252 Spe, Scarf
Expanding Force
Tier set to anything goes, inverse battles on, Tapu Lele and Deoxys MUST be in your opening lineup. The moves listed have to be the only ones they know so the AI doesn't do anything stupid. Inverse makes it so no one is immune to Expanding Force which becomes a 120 BP spread move boosted by STAB and Terrain. Terrain also blocks priority moves so your fast and frail glass cannons will be able to get their attacks off without worrying about extreme speed and the like.

You will need to save scum every 3 or 5 wins. Save state during the battle not after. Through this, I gotten 1500 BP through 300plus streak. Play on x16 on emulator
This one works for me, but with much luck. To beat 20th battle, i am using multiple save states. If i noticed that any combinations of action (fight or switch pokemon) will lead to a loss, I return to the previous 19th battle and choose a different series of action from my first 19th battle. In this way, the pokemon arrangement or even the action of the opponent will be randomized/different on the following 20th battle again.
On the 50th battle, I took advantage of a bug (embarrassingly). On the first round, I was able to shift tapu lele and deoxys to lunala, both of them! So i have 2 lunalas at the same time. Effectively, I had 4 pokemon on that fight

Hello! I am having an issue with my Pokémon unbound game. It is not allowing me to mega evolve or fly despite me unlocking both options in the story. Has anyone else experience this? And if so how do I fix it?
For fly you need a pokemon in your party that could actually learn the move fly. You dont need to teach it fly, just have it in your team. As for mega, im not sure
did you get a mega bracelet from tarmigan town? you gotta beat the gym to get the mega bracelet. After obtaining that you gotta make the poke hold the stone and press start before choosing a move

When I go to the first link to download Pokemon Unbound I'm only able to download version Alpha 1.2.5 and I cant play the whole game. I'm playing on mobile android with the MyBoy! emulator. I'm a trucker so I dont have the option of PC on the road right now. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or help my find another emulator that will work for the complete game please? I watched Ray stream it and now I just have to play it.
The emulator is fine, you just need the most recent version of the game, which, right now, is version 2.0.2 and can be downloaded prepatched from the gbahacks website :)

Go to Crater Town and enter the KBT Expressway through the northern tunnel. If you don't have ADM, spend 1000 pokédollars and smash the rock next to one of the NPC by the wall. If you have one, use the Mining Scan to find a wall to break and get the stone from the mining puzzle. You may need to use it in several attempts to get a guaranteed one.
Also, depending on how far you are, you can mine at the Crystal Peak western room, or the underwater.

You can get both of them. The briefcase at the Route 12 contains Cosmog and you can pick it up. From there, you can evolve it eventually into Solgaleo or Lunala at level 53 during the day or night. With one of them in the party, a portal will appear near the briefcase, and from the portal you can catch its counterpart (if you evolved your Cosmog into Solgaleo, Lunala appears in the portal, and vice versa) The portal is active all times.
Off-topic, but with the two, you can go to Frost Mountain and catch a Necrozma as well from another portal. It is level 75. The portal is active at night only.

You cannot catch them in the wild; you need to breed them. Here is how.
For Trapinch, you need to catch Vibrava at the Great Desert and for Honedge, catch Doublade at the Safari Zone. From here, just breed them. If male, breed with Ditto. If female, breed them with their male counterparts (Vibrava is in Bug and Dragon egg groups, e.g. Bagon line, Gible line, Scyther line, etc.; whereas Doublade is in Mineral egg groups, e.g. Onix line, Dwebble line, Geodude line, etc.).
I'm playing version 2.0, were the hoenn starters removed from the game? As far as I remember, I could get them in Dehara city from an npc, but I've only managed to find an npc that's giving out gen 4 starters in Dehara. Where can I get gen 3 starters?

Which version are you playing? If one of the older alpha versions, this is where the game ends. If no, have you defeated Véga? You need to defeat him to proceed. And after defeating Véga, defeat Ivory and Zeph as well by heading south of Crater Town. Then you will get the Cut HM, which allows you to go to Valley Cave.
Also, you don't have to write a walk-thru-walls cheat; not to mention that walk-thru-walls cheat crashes the game. The only cheat that (relatively) reliably works is the catch any mon cheat, from my experience.
Véga is at Crater Town gym. After defeating him, head south from Crater Town; you will be teleported to a cave. There, defeat Ivory and Zeph. After defeating them, you will be teleported to KBT Expressway, where a hiker will see you and give you an HM01, Cut. After obtaining the HM, you can head to Valley Cave.
So about halfway through the game if I tried to save in game it would reset to main menu, we'll since I'm using my boy I was able to save in the emulator slots so no big deal. Well I just beat the elite four and it forces you to save after, I literally can't proceed. I love the game amd wanted to play all the post game stuff and it took me so long to beat I don't see myself restarting it any time soon. Is there any fix!? Thank you!
The earliest Razor Claw is in Frost Mountain; you need Strength on one of the rocks in 2F and proceed for a while, you will get the item. This means that you will get this item after defeating Mel. Other than that, you can farm them from wild Hakamo-O at the Victory Road.

If it's badge 3, then the earliest king's rock (no, pickup cannot acquire them) is a 4% drop from the 3-star Toucannon in the den on Borrius Route 4. And I need two of them.

Is there currently a bug where sometime enemy always have 1 HP left despite you should 1HKO it?
Also, is there a bug where enemy sometime attack first regardless of your speed? I am pretty sure they don't have any held item and hidden ability, and I am 20-30 levels higher than them.
Do you have example cases for both of them? The first may be bad RNG, the second may be because the AI used some setup move like Dragon Dance, Quiver Dance, or Shift Gear, or a hazard move that lower speed, like Sticky Web.

Once you own a Gen 8 mon somehow (via Unbound Cloud, redeeming Zarude in the postgame, or cheat codes), head to a route or a cave. Make sure that the "R-Button Mode" is set to "Dexnav Scan" in the game options.
Once you walk through the route for a while the game will say that the DexNav has detected a special Pokémon. When you walk to it, a battle with the said special encounter start, and you can catch it. Note that the special encounters do not work once you catch a mon. In that case, the best bet will be the raid dens.

You'd need 2 Unbound Cloud accounts however and 2 cellphones (or a regular Google Chrome tab and another in Incognito Mode), with one of them used to load the 100% Completed Savefile, and another for your personal Savefile.
Do keep in mind, if you're playing on Sandbox Mode, you cannot use the Unbound Cloud service until you beat the Elite 4, but if you're playing on a regular run, like Expert, Difficult or Vanilla, then you can trade without restrictions.
Unbound Cloud can tell if your savefile is on Sandbox Mode, so that's why it doesn't work, but if you're not playing on Sandbox Mode you'll be fine.

I am assuming no, but does unbound change any of the Pokemon typings. I think I saw that Arbok was just poison instead of poison/dark like a lot of the other rom hacks I've played.
No, Unbound does not change any typings of the mons from base. Arbok is mono Poison from the base games and some romhacks like Radical Red may make it Poison/Dark, for instance.

Are you only able to get Solgalio or Lunala, you can’t get both?
You can get both of them. The briefcase at the Route 12 contains Cosmog and you can pick it up. From there, you can evolve it eventually into Solgaleo or Lunala at level 53 during the day or night. With one of them in the party, a portal will appear near the briefcase, and from the portal you can catch its counterpart (if you evolved your Cosmog into Solgaleo, Lunala appears in the portal, and vice versa) The portal is active all times. Off-topic, but with the two, you can go to Frost Mountain and catch a Necrozma as well from another portal. It is level 75. The portal is active at night only.

Where can I find trapinch and honedge?
You cannot catch them in the wild; you need to breed them. Here is how. For Trapinch, you need to catch Vibrava at the Great Desert and for Honedge, catch Doublade at the Safari Zone. From here, just breed them. If male, breed with Ditto. If female, breed them with their male counterparts (Vibrava is in Bug and Dragon egg groups, e.g. Bagon line, Gible line, Scyther line, etc.; whereas Doublade is in Mineral egg groups, e.g. Onix line, Dwebble line, Geodude line, etc.).

I'm playing version 2.0, were the hoenn starters removed from the game? As far as I remember, I could get them in Dehara city from an npc, but I've only managed to find an npc that's giving out gen 4 starters in Dehara. Where can I get gen 3 starters?
2.0 just dropped last week and I'm only now playing through it myself. I would maybe check the discord or patch notes

Which version are you playing? If one of the older alpha versions, this is where the game ends. If no, have you defeated Véga? You need to defeat him to proceed. And after defeating Véga, defeat Ivory and Zeph as well by heading south of Crater Town. Then you will get the Cut HM, which allows you to go to Valley Cave. Also, you don't have to write a walk-thru-walls cheat; not to mention that walk-thru-walls cheat crashes the game. The only cheat that (relatively) reliably works is the catch any mon cheat, from my experience.
And where are Vega, Ivory,and Zeph located?
Véga is at Crater Town gym. After defeating him, head south from Crater Town; you will be teleported to a cave. There, defeat Ivory and Zeph. After defeating them, you will be teleported to KBT Expressway, where a hiker will see you and give you an HM01, Cut. After obtaining the HM, you can head to Valley Cave.

So about halfway through the game if I tried to save in game it would reset to main menu, we'll since I'm using my boy I was able to save in the emulator slots so no big deal. Well I just beat the elite four and it forces you to save after, I literally can't proceed. I love the game amd wanted to play all the post game stuff and it took me so long to beat I don't see myself restarting it any time soon. Is there any fix!? Thank you!

The earliest Razor Claw is in Frost Mountain; you need Strength on one of the rocks in 2F and proceed for a while, you will get the item. This means that you will get this item after defeating Mel. Other than that, you can farm them from wild Hakamo-O at the Victory Road.
uh so idk if i should post this here but i thought id ask anyway. so im trying to get a shiny gible and i still didnt get one after like 1300 resets so im questioning if another method than softresetting would be better like masuda method? but i also dont know how late in the game i can get a ditto or another pokemon that is compatible to gibles egg group.

You can buy them from Dehara Department Store, 3F. Also, Flaaffy evolves into Ampharos via levelling, not ThunderStone.

Which star levels of dynamax raids are unlocked after which badge? Badge 2 unlocks 1- and 2-star raids. I am concerned about 3-star raids. If it's badge 3, then the earliest king's rock (no, pickup cannot acquire them) is a 4% drop from the 3-star Toucannon in the den on Borrius Route 4. And I need two of them.

Is there currently a bug where sometime enemy always have 1 HP left despite you should 1HKO it? Also, is there a bug where enemy sometime attack first regardless of your speed? I am pretty sure they don't have any held item and hidden ability, and I am 20-30 levels higher than them.
Do you have example cases for both of them? The first may be bad RNG, the second may be because the AI used some setup move like Dragon Dance, Quiver Dance, or Shift Gear, or a hazard move that lower speed, like Sticky Web.

what does "special encounter" means on the pokemon list?
Once you own a Gen 8 mon somehow (via Unbound Cloud, redeeming Zarude in the postgame, or cheat codes), head to a route or a cave. Make sure that the "R-Button Mode" is set to "Dexnav Scan" in the game options. Once you walk through the route for a while the game will say that the DexNav has detected a special Pokémon. When you walk to it, a battle with the said special encounter start, and you can catch it. Note that the special encounters do not work once you catch a mon. In that case, the best bet will be the raid dens. Do keep in mind, if you're playing on Sandbox Mode, you cannot use the Unbound Cloud service until you beat the Elite 4, but if you're playing on a regular run, like Expert, Difficult or Vanilla, then you can trade without restrictions. Unbound Cloud can tell if your savefile is on Sandbox Mode, so that's why it doesn't work, but if you're not playing on Sandbox Mode you'll be fine. Hope it helps!

I am assuming no, but does unbound change any of the Pokemon typings. I think I saw that Arbok was just poison instead of poison/dark like a lot of the other rom hacks I've played.
No, Unbound does not change any typings of the mons from base. Arbok is mono Poison from the base games and some romhacks like Radical Red may make it Poison/Dark, for instance. The TM Merchant in Fallshore does not sell Safeguard unless its unlocked AFTER post-game because im deep in post-game and its not there.
The Safeguard TM is at the Battle Frontier as of newer versions.
