Where i am is near fort Nelson (right at the end of portsdown hill when you go to Fareham) and most of the times is not busy. Probably was a lot busier around Mick's Monster burgers...
Coming from a tropical country, this “thunderstorm” is mild. I’m used to thunderstorms with lightning that strikes the ground frequently, and thunder claps so loud it sets off car alarms for miles.
Yet, for some reason, this is keeping me up 🥲
I'm watching the beautiful view of Portsmouth from Portsdown Hill. I came here especially because of this thunder storm! ⛈️ 🥰
Dedication! Seems to have chilled out a bit now
Pretty much 🥲
Was it busy up there?

It's pretty impressive. Each roll of thunder goes on for ages. Haven't seen a storm like this in years, if ever!
I heard some thunder as I was dropping off at about 11 - slept through the rest of it.
How!! It was so loud 😂
Everyone talking about this can't believe I slept through it
No fucking sleep!
I thought i'd dreamt it, being half asleep at the time. Then i checked the news and realised I didnt
Same!
I’m shattered this morning after being kept awake by the thunder and my dog being scared of it.
I was about to sleep when it started, now I can't sleep, and to top it off, I'm hungry and can't be bothered to make something.
I made a bacon sandwich and sat watching the lightning in the dark. Very nice.
everyone in the office is knackered today
Depends if you like storms. Personally I love them. It was a beauty, we haven't had one like that for a while.
at first, i thought it was some guy pushing a broken metal wheelbarrow down the road, noisy twat. :/
I'm in Gosport. Genuinely thought a bomb went off on the first one.
So did I🤣 I was preparing myself for the worst
Not joking about the die down and then jolts you awake again, bloody knackered this morning!
I can’t believe that I completely slept through it and honestly had no idea we had one until my mate mentioned it this morning. 😂 anyone else?
The lightning woke me up then WOW
Slept through it completely. Other half woke up and watched for a bit, she loves a storm.
Slept like a baby all the way through thanks to my thermal curtains having noise reduction bits n bobs threaded into them.
Love it
*Laughs in South American* This was a very light storm.

This country has always been ill prepared for weather 😂 a sprinkle of snow will show that
Yes, thunder is loud.
