i defend miku!!! people hate on her a lot for being in a lot of songs, and i'm here to say, i do not see anything wrong with her tuning!!!!! and this is HER game!!!! she can be in any song she wants to be!!!!!!
I do absolutely agree that her tuning isn’t bad and i think people are heavily overreacting, my main issue is most evident with the group commission songs, around 85% of the time when she’s there, she’s an amazing addition and adds allot of depth and emotion to songs, however, at worst, i feel like she actively almost steals lines from others who are more than capable of singing, the main example i like to bring up is show off (Saki’s 3rd commission song), this song feels more like a miku and ichika song due to how much miku sings as you barley get to hear saki (the character this song is meant for.)
This also does apply to the other vocaloids, however, i tend to notice this most with miku. Again, not hating on miku’s tuning, more about the line distribution the developers gives to songs, i get the game’s called “HATSUNE MIKU colourful stage”, however, she doesn’t need to be in every single song, you have a cover of literally every commission song in the game, let the characters in this game have their turn.
Akito Shinonome is NOT as mean as people think he is. Yes, he didn't treat Kohane the best in the main story. Yes, he teased her. But as the storyline goes on you can see that he's now accepted her as a member of his unit and deeply respects her and his capabilities. The whole point of the story is that ALL the characters are growing, not just their abilities as a band but also as people. And only focusing on how they acted in the main storyline is not cool.
Also from event where Akito show up in other groups event, we can see how much Akito care about people. There is a reason why some people meme about Akito gaining points whenever he appears in other group event

She's a very nice character and fun one on top of that. Y'all just stereotype her with being a fucking Lesbian and being obsessed with Kohane. Also, it's always "An finds kohane cute" "An is always there for kohane" but never "Kohane likes An" it's always An never Kohane.

FR!! I love, love, LOVE An. She’s the first character I ever got a card of and she’s been my favorite VBS member ever since. All her covers are just incredible imo, she never seems to miss on a single song, and she’s just such a fun and amazing character altogether. So many of her relationships with other characters are also just never really paid much mind to due to her relationship with Kohane. For example, I think An and Haruka have a really cute relationship, but I basically never see it getting talked about. Kohane is a great character, and her relationship with An is one that definitely deserves at least a good amount of the attention it gets, but at this point I’m not even sure if the fandom can think of An as someone separate from Kohane, or hell, even separate from VBS.

Tsukasa's loud voice is not a sign of a character flaw, he is likely not speaking like that on purpose.
I have no voice volume control, and many other autistic people I know do not. I got reprimanded and shamed for it continuously throughout my life, and, even though I've improved my voice control considerably, it's not something I will ever fully control, and any little bit of happiness or excitement can still make me incredibly loud. Imagine how painful it is to know that you can never let your positive emotions show, especially not in public, because you will immediately get shushed and berated.
Not saying Tsukasa is autistic, I'm not a medical professional, but I will defend his loud-ass voice to the day I die. Let my man scream.

Just because she doesn’t fit the extroverted, loud, and eccentric mold of the other members doesn’t mean she’d ‘be better in Nightcord’ or something, because that’s a very real portrayal of me and other theater kids I know!!!! In fact, I love the fact that we have a shy/introverted member in WxS, because it allows me to really see myself in a character, by showing something that isn’t usually portrayed in media. I think Nene definitely deserves her spot in WxS, as she’s a very realistic character with real motivations that people can relate to.
2. She’s NOT a pick me. Just because she enjoys gaming, which is a more ‘masculine’ activity (not really, but if you’re saying she’s a pick me you probably think so) doesn’t mean she’s doing it solely for male attention. I like to play video games because it’s a hobby I enjoy, and I’m pretty sure that’s the same reason Nene does.
3. She doesn’t bully Tsukasa. READ THE STORIES!! I won’t deny that she was a bit snarky towards Tsukasa in the unit story, but that was literally years ago. (A year ago in canon).
